The stakes are higher than ever at this year's tournament -- The Doubles Tournament of the Crimson Kotetsu! How they come up with names like this, I will never know, but the only thing hotter than the action is the announcer, seeing as she's me!

Everyone can hurry into the betting booth! To raise the returns a little, you can make one of two types of bets this year:

Whole tournament bet:
Open until end of Round 2
100gp increments, up to 1000gp
All money will be placed in a central pot. At the end of the tournament it will be dispersed amongst those who bet on the winners in proportion to how much they bet. (ex: Player A bet 200gp on Team X, Player B bet 300 gp on Team X, Player C bet 500gp on Team Y. The pot is 1000gp. Team X wins, so Player A gets 400gp, Player B gets 600gp)

Single-match bet:
Round 2 bets open until the 3rd at Midnight PCT
50gp increments, up to 500gp
At the end of the match, all money on that match will be devided up proportionately among the winners. Any money placed on a losing team will go into the pot if there were no betters on the winning team to recieve it.

Please note that any gp not claimed within 7 days of a match's results will be forfeited and tossed into the pot. As bets are won, a seperate booth will be opened, at which you can pick up your gp. Any gp left over from the end of the tournament will become Pawn Shop property.

Special note: Tournament participants may bet, but may not bet against themselves. This means that they cannot bet on the overall tournament except on themselves and may -not- bet on their own match, but may bet on any other match. If and when they are defeated, they may begin betting.

TO REMIND EVERYONE: Tournament bets max out at 1000, Single Match bets max out at 500. If you go over this amount, your bet will be assumed to be the maximum amount, and you will be responsible for reclaiming the excess yourself. I will not monitor these, and my only alternative is to simply ignore your bet.
