Rules and Regulations

The duel brackets are posted. Placement was entirely random, with no adjustments made regarding player levels. That's mostly because the random drawing worked out wonderfully. Once the tiers are set up, you are in the duels and your opponent will not be changed. Also, today the duels themselves will begin. The rules of the duels themselves will be the same as any normal duel in the dueling center. This includes the 5 day time penalties, SP bar penalties, and all other regulations as set forth by CC Corp. If someone goes for 15 consecutive days without posting, then their opponent will win by default.

The order of the posters will be set forth for each duel at the beginning in a specially designated thread. No one is to post in this thread outside of the organizer (me)or Kiwi. If there are any questions or comments, do NOT post them here. Send me a PM instead.

You will get ten posts each to finish your duel. If it remains unfinished after each contestant has posted ten times, then they will be graded on their efforts up to that point. That's ten per contestant, for a total of twenty per duel.

There are no restrictions on items or skills. The field will also be randomly selected for the contestants. You may not change the field, even if you and your opponent both agree to change the field. Doing so will result in disqualification. And shame. Lots and lots of shame.

If you finish a duel before your next scheduled opponent does, then you may go out and purchase items and equipment before your next fight. To keep things fair, there will be a three day period between rounds to allow everyone to upgrade their inventory.

Judging will be handled by the regular duel judges. Their decisions are final, and no amount of whining will change the results.

The winner of the event will receive a super secret item from Kiwi! In addition, their banner will be modified to include the word Champion. Besides, you'll definately get all of the ladies in the Swordbreakers! ^_^;

Finally, remember that this is being done for two reasons. First and foremost, its a bonding effort. I don't know about any of you, but I've fought with all of my best friends at one point or another. Secondly, the purpose of this event is to improve the quality of our duels. That means when the rounds are finished, the other members get to use some constructive criticism on you. I mean general concepts, not grammar and spelling nit-picking.

In other words, tell me the status of the duels as of yet, minus what people posted or something.

Savior and Blue Knight are still fighting, but Blue Knight has gotten considerable point losses, if I'm not mistaken (haven't checked, but I'm pretty sure).

And I'm gonna keep this going for as long as I possibly can. Time to show my true colors, I guess...

Considerable point losses? Uh... What? I thought I was doing fairly well, myself. What am I screwing up and what can I do better? Is it my little tangents that I go off on? Was it when I acted before Savior X finished? What?

Actually, it's just the 2 points from the 5 day limit. But still, a 2 point loss is hard to overcome.

I gotta say this. This is the most gruesome duel I've ever seen. I mean, .Hack is supposed to be rated T, right? The only way Savior and I could get more violent is if one of us randomly exploded and spewed fleshy gibbets everywhere. Man, hail to the king, indeed.

lol, I hear ya Blue. ^^ I don't know what it is with me and gruesome fighting, but they go hand in hand like PB and J. ^_^

Remember that there is a prize for the winnner, so put your best effort into this duel and show your skills off.

Final Match= Me vs. Savior. Why? Because of two reasons.

2. Well, I haven't read the entire thing, but I've got a basic thingy doodle, and BK seems to be doing a few force hits, even if he doesn't know it. Well, god-moding, really.

Hmm... that could be my "secret weapon"!!!

But I'm not sure if I'll beat you. My last few duels seemed, to me, like not my best work. I'll try to make it good, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to.

And my brother may be goofy, but he's got skill, and there's no denying that. *covers post so that Knight can't see it* But of course, I'll never admit that to his face. Anyways, don't get too cocky Savior. Knight's better at me in the writing, and I didn't lose by too terribly much... maybe 2 points means more than I think it does XP Pleh. All you people of so little faith. I went back and re-read the whole thing just to make sure, but there is no god-modding to be found. My one mistake may have been at the beginning with the whole spell thing, but I was trying to show simultaneous action. That might be the one thing that keeps me from winning the duel. Other than the five-day deductions, I think I'm doing fairly well for myself and I appreciate Akane and Sae's support.

Besides, if I make Sae lose 500 GP, do you know what she'll do to me? *shudder*

Well, now I would have to say that Savior loses. He's been extremely busy with whatever it is that he's busy with, and as you can see, he hasn't posted for almost 15 days. He might just lose because of the 15 day rule. If that happens, I lose money and I have to fight Blue Knight. I'm going to strangle Savior <.<;; Nobody heard that...

C'mon Savior! Don't let it end on a technicality! Don't let Slicer lose money in such an anticlimatic fashion! I don't wanna stop kicking the crap out of each other.

Yes, I know I am going to be posting in our duel by tonight. I am sorry I haven't been able to. A lot of stuff with The World TCG Tournament has been very difficult on me, because now I have to take the hours and hours of time to do match ups and make all the topics for rounds 1-5. So, sounds very fun. XP

EDIT : Ok, I posted in the duel just so you know. I died. :( But man, that was a really long post to type up in a hour, at least for me. XP Especially with all of the effort I put into it. Good duel Blue, may the best man win.

I've added my final post and I let a mod know it was done. That was great fun, Savior. We'll have to do it again when we both aren't flooded by reality.

And just a thought, wouldn't it be funny if Savior won anyway by points like I did with Kijusho? I'd laugh.

Well, it is finally time for the final round of the Intraclan Duel. Last match between myself and Blue came out to me winning, and Slicer also has won his duel. So, here is what the current standing board looks like.



Now comes the time of judgement. Who is the strongest of all the SBs? I ask that the last match hold off until the The World TCG : Beginner's Tournament is over. That is consuming most of my time on Divergence. Thank you.

oh, ending? ahhhh................Me not know. Probably when Slicer and I finish the final round. When they is exactly I won't know. The final round of the TCG Tourny should be ending by this weekend. When it does, that only leaves the finals, which will probably happen sometime after new years, sicne everyone might be away on vacation and what not. So, if you figure our duel will begin sometime in january, it should end by the most feburary.

I was actually refering to the TCG tourny. I think, though, that you're right in stating we should wait for the end of christmas break and everything. Here's what I propose.

Let's begin the final match on a very special date: January 18th. That gives both contestants much more than ample time to prepare. Everyone in concurrance?
