With nothing to lose he ran out the house before his mom could say another word, not even bothering to lock the door. Walking down the stairs he thought quietly about what he was going to do today now that he didn’t have class to preoccupy his time at the moment. Pulling his phone from his pocket he noticed that he had received a text message asking if he was going to log on today and replied back, (yes I will) and hit send with a smile on his face.

Getting in his car now he turned the key in the ignition and backed out, his new destination was the nearest cyber café so that 1. He could go to the world and 2. It was a place of peace and away from his nagging mother. Once he arrived at his favorite spot he looked over t Joe and told him that he wanted to escape reality, Joe gave him the signal to go into the back room. He looked and only found two others, finding that there was only one chair left he walked over and sat down.

He put on the goggles and let the virtual reality take his mind away from the day to day stresses.

Feeling the cool breeze of Mac Anu was amazing and beat the rain in reality were life sucked and all you did was work and go to school. He heard the ring of the flash mail alert and checked his email. The message read:

Deciding not to reply back he walked around and let his mind escape or better yet vegg. It was relaxing and stress free, finding a tree he laid under the shady part and let the clouds put him to sleep. When he woke up he noticed that it was dark and a little chilly, not sure what the exact time was he rushed into the market in search of his friend. To no such luck did he find him but since he was already here he decided to stick around and maybe do a quest on his own.

Takahashi started walking over to the chaos gates but before he could port out he heard a voice in the distance, “wait.” Whipping around he saw someone running in the distance. As the image got bigger it was becoming clear that he didn’t know the person that was telling him to wait. As the person reached him, he introduced him self as kaoru, he asked if he could join him on a quest, thinking about it he decided that it would be better to have a partner then go alone especially since he hadn’t been on in almost a year.
