Character Description: Kylerkyler stands tall for a human, nearing six and a half feet in height. He has pale skin stretched over a thin frame with relatively long, black hair that falls in waves of curved spikes reaching just pass the base of his neck (Very Sonic-esque. Yay hedgehogs!). His black eyes often go unnoticed due to the number of original and strange characteristics of other characters in ‘The World’. He stands a relatively dark figure, being garbed entirely in black consisting of a torn and tattered T-shirt, loose jeans looking to have long since been missing the knee area, and scuffed leather boots. (What's this? An image? Yes! Also, yes I did draw it myself, on a scrap piece of paper I then scanned and only slightly edited, so yes, it may look bad, but that's my drawing skill. Kylerkyler)

Being new to the game Kyler often walks about wide-eyed and awed and the depth and detail of it all. Though usually he plays to a specific goal (more often than not being grinding levels), the graphics and immersive game play have more than often lead him to pursuing decorative or otherwise near useless items and simply relaxing in the many different fields or root cities…or running in circles like an idiot. When it comes to interaction Kyler can tend to come off as immature and childish (a mirroring of his real-world counterpart), but usually only to those he considers close friends, otherwise he tries his best to manage to be polite when around other players. However, due to his anti-social real life counterpart, he’s just as apt to come off as cold, quiet, and odd. As comes with his immaturity, Kyler is subject to acting on impulse, usually easily distracted by shining objects or flashing lights, unless otherwise brutally objective driven. Such objectives often include revenge, making money in relation to buying a very wanted item, and in-game events. When it comes to fighting, Kyler has a very simple brawler mentality, focusing on causing as much damage as possible, as quickly as possible, and often ignoring how open he can be to counter-attacks, or how much damage he's actually taken. When cornered or desperately low on health, or any of his friends are in the same position, he often gets quite nasty and goes on a brutal flailing spree of steel and screams.

IRL Player Name: Kyler Holmes

IRL Player Description:
Kyler is a 16 year old high school student, coasting by as necessary and living for any time he can get to do anything besides work. Being only a notch or two lower than addict and a bit odd to some, he lives an anti-social life he only partially carries over into “The World.” It was, of course, his driving requirement of game access that lead him to discovery of “The World”.

Origin Story:
With a brutal curse muffled by both his hands Kyler dealt with, again, being completely obliterated by his artificial nemesis, an all too common event as of late. Closing all programs and removing his beloved I-pod, he shut down his system with a sigh and leaned back in his chair, eyes staring up at the ceiling and arms hanging limp as he tried to work his brain into a relatively active status. “I’ve been playing this for how long now…?” He finally muttered, sitting up and running a hand through his hair in thought. “Some three years now…” Standing up he scooped up the headphones sitting on the desk and forced himself to take the necessary steps to the staircase and slowly ascended out of the personal darkness that was, as he called it, ‘his’ basement.

Ten minutes later he was walking down the street into the center of the small city he called home, music blaring in his ears nearly drowning out his own thoughts, and still no where near an answer to his rut of gaming. “I need something new…Something that’ll give me a new direction…or just… something!” Throwing up his hands in exasperation a flash of color caught his eyes and he was forced to back up and check it out. “What’s this…The World…huh?” Blinking he entered the local game store and didn’t have to search long before he found a copy of the latest and supposedly greatest of world wide gaming. Looking over the case he could have sworn there should have been a light bulb above his head, or a tone from the heavens. It was so obviously the answer to his problem, meant to be, a new game, a new start. Quickly checking his pockets for cash he took it to the counter with a grin on his face.

Another fifteen minutes later and he was back in his room, “The World” having just finished downloading onto his computer and Kyler busy adjusting his personal game playing music playlist. “Thank you Windows Media Player, now lets get this started.” As the music started up he set the incredibly sci-fi visor upon the empty space above his neck and couldn’t help but laugh in joy as for somewhere near the twenty-seventh registration of anything, he used the same and suspiciously never taken username. Both fortunately, and unfortunately, character creation itself was an adventure. Fortunately, because the depth finally allowed him to make his ever standard character closer to the way HE envisioned, unfortunately, because despite knowing what he wanted his avatar to look like, he still had to spend almost an hour simply playing with it before finally putting the effort into it and finally getting the hang of the control.

“Alright, okay, finally! This is it, no more.” Finally taking a last once-over of his character he moved the cursor to the little button that would send him into the world…and paused. “…Here’s to new beginning!” With a smirk he clicked the button and felt the rush of being entered into “The World”.

It took a moment for the colours and shapes to register in his mind, but once they did, he was forced to gasp and even take a step back, despite the pointlessness of it. There he stood, the ever dark character almost just as he had always wished it to be, considering his drawing skills were well below sup-par and could never manage quite the concept on paper, standing in what he had read to be Eternal City Mac Anu. Indeed, quite the city it was, canals, players, npcs and objects sitting, walking, running by or talking…”The World” was certainly appropriate title. There were a few moments of serious thought, player levels, interpreting the sounds and meanings from the immediate surroundings, noting the area so he might remember the moment, before he began reverting to his ever immature and giddy “new game self” as he had named the inner being. “Yeeeeeeeaaaahh!” With a shout and a laugh he was off, arms in the air and legs working as fast as they could while he began his exploration of the city.

(Looking forward to knowing what’s wrong with it :D Not that I plan on anything being wrong with it, but knowing me...Well, it'd be my luck.)

It looks good.

I will warn you that you seem to be leaning towards GU terminology, and this is an R1 world - it's Water Capital, not Eternal City, for example.

Just check which iteration you're using, and you'll be good from there.

Welcome to The World.

Fix those references and post a copy in Character Profiles... you're good to go.
