Title: Pets!

This is my new baby. She's an 8 month old Elkhound/German Shepard mix. She's sweet and very happy about everything... she's basically got a lot of energy without being truly hyper. She's about 30lbs and fluffy, and almost comes up to my knee. She's very intelligent, likes to play but not too rough, and is kind of oblivious to what goes on around her, like when she bonked her nose into the counter hard enough to make it bleed.
I'm ridiculously happy because she's so damn sweet and I've wanted a dog for so long.
:3 We decided to name her Sheva in the end.
(If the first few replies sound confusing, it's because originally I had a poll up to decide her name.)

Well, we name our pets based upon look now. Funny enough, naming your cat after their look tends to make them grow out of it.
We aren't afraid to name our cats the same name if they look the same either.
We had a BT, an Shadow and Shadows and Shadowy.

It seems everyone wants that dog to be known as a bounty hunter... :rolleyes: I went with something simple, though. :P

The sad thing is, I had to go and Google Samus to figure out that that's Metroid.
I just thought it was a samus, or dusty, or Browny

And the dog's description sounds a lot like my dog, sorta. XD Yet my dog's probably twice as big and ways twice as much. :P

I just got a dog what FEELS like recently myself. Though it was months ago. She's still not used to the house, or likes me. ...At all. I just hope you have a few chew toys ready, she'll need something to discract her from all the wonderful potential destruction a small dog could cause.

Congrats on the adorable pup. As you can tell, I'm very jealous. XD I like the name. She sounds quite perfect. Any idea how big she's going to get eventually?
