Δ: Noisy Betrayed Mirror World
Level 1 Snowfield at stormy night.

Giggles read the information to the field. This was her next stop. She had made a request at the trading station for some weapons, and put up a request to playing a card game. She had been on for the past while collecting and running around and doing stuff in general. She had just made her first great commitment to the world and bought a grunty and some food. It was expensive, but it was going to be well worth it. She had even made a decision to start collecting the weapons of the Heavy Blade class. So far she had three weapons. There were four that she could attain for now, and she needed that one. She sighed and clicked the log out function.

Slowly, her PC vanished in a series of rings.

Judy pushed off from the computer. So many things to do on a friday night. So much time too. She pushed the power buttons and made sure that the entire thing had turned off. She stood up, stretched and then walked out the bedroom door. She picked up the little decision-maker 7.9 on her way out. There would be a movie going on at the theatre in town, but she didn't quite feel like going. She was, however, a tad bit hungry. Not for anything in particular though. Pulling the little paper toy from her pocket, she flipped it back and forth and back and forth in her hands, debating what her choices for food would be. She finished her rounds of flipping the little thing and read what the answer was.

"Picky, picky, clock goes ticky." she mumbled to herself.

The wind picked up, catching her off guard and taking the little decision maker with it.

"Shit. No!" she cursed. She chased after it, mumbling to herself as she did. "No, no, no, no, no, no, no."

The wind was strong, and unfortunately, it outlasted her desire to get her piece of paper back. Defeated, she turned around and walked back the few blocks home. It didn't occur to her that the reason she had left the house in the first place was to go and get food. Disappointed and dismayed, she plopped herself down at the computer and logged back into the game.

"Hah..." she let out in a loud sigh.

She found herself in front of the gate. There wasn't much else to do but go to the area in question. Before she said the words, she noticed some other players going through a pattern of movements before leaving to the fields of their choice. For jokes, she raised her arms up and out to her sides.

"Delta Noisy Betrayed Mirror World!" she commanded. She swung her hands around and clapped then in front of her chest, making a faint noise while vanishing into the light of the rings.

huh...never had that before. Her character appeared on top of a hill, with a light blizzard whipping at her face. Not far down from her was a group in conflict. A collection of swordsmen were attacking an undistinguished other character.

"Ahoy!" she yelled.

The swordsmen turned to look, and then resumed attacking the other character. Something about them was familiar. Swordsmanoids... A smile crept across her face. She charged into the fight, grabbing her sword and prepping to activate a skill.

"HAYA-BUSA!" she shouted when she was down and nearer to them.

She heaved her sword around and smashed into most of them collectively. The second heave sent her forwards as she spun in a circle and collected the rest of them. Three of the attackers died, leaving four more weak, and still able to attack her and the mystery player. That was quickly stopped though, as she brought her blade overhead and crushed one with the blunt side of her sword. The mystery player recovered and thrust the shaft of a stick into a second multiple times. She spun around and took out the last two with an easy three-four combination. She spun to meet her mystery player, sword still out.

"Vak Don!" the player shouted.

"What-" She was cut off when a fireball dropped on her.

"-the hell?" she finished.

Caught in the surprise attack, the player had fled from her as fast as he could.

"Heya pal!" she shouted after him. "Today is NOT the day to mess with Judy Giggles!"

If he had heard her, he didn't acknowledge it. Instead he continued to run. Angry, and without any good answers to what had just happened, she took off after him. The snow began to crunch more and more underfoot, and as she continued to try and follow him, the storm began to get worse and worse. Shrill cries alerted her to the presence of more enemies. She turned her head, spotting a tiny troupe of goblins, and turned back to find that the mystery player had vanished.

She growled and turned her blade onto the little troupe. A couple quick paces and she could see larger shapes appearing from behind them. A check on her SP told her that only three points had regenerated. She brought her blade to the side and swiped the goblin troupe out of the way, throwing them aimlessly into a snowbank. Giant Moths floated amidst the storm in a rough form. They were shaky at best, and floundering at worst.

"Today's not getting any better," she mumbled to herself.

She spun her sword around her once and connected with a couple of the goblin troupe. Heaving her sword back into balance, she charged forwards to the moths. The large blade came up at an angle and caught the first one. Releasing one hand, she continued the motion around and down again, on top of the same moth. A blow from the second moth pushed her back, tumbling her into the Goblin troupe once again. She got up with a kick and a great smash of her sword, blunt side, down on them. Swinging her sword wildly across two or three times, two goblins dropped and melted into the snow. A kick and another smash took out another one. A stab to the gut forced her to react by jumping back and throwing her sword overhead. Rise and drop. The blade came down again and finished it. She retreated five paces and checked on herself. She sustained a little too much damage, and her SP really needed to refill its last five points.

"I need a plan."

Keeping aware of the things around her that intended harm, she made a quick check on her inventory. Nothing helpful in there that wouldn't prove to be a great waste. Her Speed Charms however made the idea of a hastened battle optimal however. She pulled one out and crushed it in her palm.

"Hyper Mode!" The magic contained washed over her.

Still weak, but with a hastened self, she charged back into battle, eager to finish it and catch up with that character. She came with a charge towards the injured moth. Two slashes, then the connection of her head overtop of that in a headbutt to its belly. Before it could react, she had sprinted towards the remaining Goblins and dove upon them. Too close to use her sword effectively, she grabbed the goblin with a free hand and pushed it into the ground.

"Hey you!" she heard someone yell.

Suddenly, the creatures around her were felled with blasts of magic. Fireballs, branches, and columns of stone were the things that slew them. The last thing she spotted was the flash of silver as a sword lunged for her and skewered the goblin. She spun away and avoided the attack, but everything went black in a sudden flash.

~Game Over~

"Damn." she muttered. "Player Killed."

((An end to this short, short quest for now.))
