Title: Character Class Change
Description: Hehe. :)

Hitori - June 25, 2009 12:23 AM (GMT)
Hey peoples of this forum. Long time no see.

Anyways, I'm simply here because I was told to ask here, but I'd, as the topic says, like to change my character's class. I understand I will be put back to first level, new weapon and armor, so on and so forth. I know that.

So, all I'm requesting is permission to do so. Thank you for your time.

Don't you have to be level 15 and then you get bumped down to 10 when you switch? I can't remember.

You can change your class at ANY time to one of the basic classes, however you have to forfeit all levels gained with your character (and items, not sure).

That was what I was asking. Thanks a lot. :D

Wait, I was thinking of whipmaster/archer/fistfighter, wasn't I >_>? My bad - nice save savior.

Well, for the 3 advanced classes, you need to be a certain level first, before you can class change. And when you do, you lose 2 levels and your equipment get changed.

I'll say it now, then. I'm changing from Wavemaster to Long Arm. So, what Savior said applies. :D

Uh, I actually don't think you have to forfeit your items or GP - it's just your levels and you have to give up a weapon to switch it to the level one weapon of your new class. You can probably double-check this in the FAQ.

I'm not gonna change the GP, but just to be fair to myself, I'm not gonna keep my items.

I think I deleted them anyways. Hehe.

lugiablaster - June 25, 2009 01:47 AM (GMT)
Technically you're supposed to forfeit your GP and items. But I don't think anyone honestly cares too much, since that can be stepped over by just trading it all to someone else.

Just for the record.

We pay attention to the give it to someone-itude. Just for the record. =P

You don't have to forfeit your GP, Hitori. You weren't gaining any the whole time you were gone, so if you added for that, you need to subtract. 10k seems a bit off for someone who didn't participate in the "betting debacle" [as it was so elegantly put to me once]. So yeah, hit me up about that. I'm a bit curious.

But yeah, go ahead and class change. Thanks for the heads up.
