It's a story about a guy who goes to investigate a house and (gets killed?) it's told in e-mail format. There are a couple texts in there, too. I found the story here originally, but I can't remember the name, and I want to read it again so it would be nice if I could find it.

The Dionaea House

Great story. Maybe I'll read it again soon. There's also apparently still a movie in the works. The creator of the story sold it years ago, but it spent some time in movie limbo. It's currently called "The Occupants" and IMDB has it set for a 2010 release.
