Physical Appearance:[/b] Devin has black hair that’s around chin-length, give or take a few inches below or under. Most of his bangs are brushed to the right to cover one of his eyes. He does that because while both of his eyes are as black as night, he cannot see out of his right eye. It has been like that since birth and has not bothered him in the slightest. Devin’s skin is strange as it is fairly pale (think Scottish pale), but it tans easily. He is a little shorter than normal and a few pounds under the average weight. Devin also does not look his age. He actually looks a couple years younger.

Clothing: He (Devin) hates bright colors, as they really don’t look good on him. Devin is a winter through and through. Most of the time, people see him in a darkish purple, black, dark or pine green, and dark brown. He prefers loose clothing to tight merely as it makes him uncomfortable. Around Devin’s neck is a black cord with a Celtic knot charm hanging from the cord.

“Soren” wears a black tunic with silver swirling thinly through the black. The cape he wears across his shoulders is also black. His pants are white and cling tightly to him, just like leggings but a little looser. Soren’s boots are the standard Wavemaster’s boots. Like Devin, Soren also wears a necklace with a Celtic knot charm.

Personality: Devin always keeps a cool head on his shoulders. He is not one to do something on impulse, but he slips up sometimes. Devin likes to think things through, looking at everything at all possible angles. His sort of humor is sarcastic, witty, or dry. Devin does not talk much, but when he does it usually has relevance.

When alone, he is dead silent. People usually find him reading a book or writing something down when they visit his home. It is pretty obvious that Devin is not a social person, unless he needs to be.

Still, Devin is a good kid under his silence. He laughs at jokes he thinks are funny and sometimes adds his own jibe. Devin smiles at friends he knows well and is very polite to those above him (status-wise). To those he hates, Devin simply glares and says nothing. (Soren is the same way)

Devin sighed out of annoyance. He paused his game and slowly got up from his seat on the ground. The teen had been playing one of his favorite Wii games to pass the time and there were no comfortable chairs for him to use. Therefore, Devin had used the floor as his chair.

The doorbell rang again. Devin merely grumbled as he strode over to the door, opening it with a bored expression upon his face. Fortunately, there was nobody there, except for the UPS guy driving away from his house. Devin shook his head, looked down, and saw a package for him, of all people. Curious, he took the box inside and sat down in front of the TV. Devin shook the box, hearing something inside it.

Well, I didn’t order anything, but… Devin frowned and decided to throw caution to the wind by finding a pair of scissors and cutting off the tape. He opened the Amazon box and stared in amazement at the contents. It was a copy of “The World,” a MMORPG that Devin had been waiting to get since its release.

“Um…wow,” he mumbled, taking out The World’s box. Devin carefully opened the box and took out the installation disk. Excitement flooded his veins and gave him an extra boost of energy to go immediately into a sprint from his seated position. Devin opened the door to his room, making a beeline to his computer desk. Once there, he popped in the disk and allowed his computer to automatically install the program.

It took a long time for it to finish. Devin had whittled away the time by playing a Fire Emblem game. Once it was done downloading, he immediately started the registration process.

It’d be awesome if he could look like me…and…there! Now to choose a name, class, and password. Devin frowned in concentration, his eyebrows knitting together. His face cleared only a little when he decided on the class and name. He had decided to be a Wavemaster, since they could be relied on to attack from afar as well as heal. As for the name, well, Devin had decided to name his character after his favorite Fire Emblem character. He was a little surprised when the name was accepted.
