It'd been a while since Sekai and Kira had the opportunity to visit the pawn shop, knowing that there was always the risk of either being busted by an administrator doing a checkup on the shop itself or running into the less than friendly shopkeepers.

Deciding it was better if only one entered the shop, Kira chose to enter and glanced around with a critical eye at the new shipment that'd come in during their absence. "Looks like you have some quality merchandise in today; how much for the Golden Royal Crossbow and the Siren's Call?"

She smiled, getting ready for a fun game of bartering and political style banter and flirting if it came right down to it. "Especially if I throw in an Iron Anklet- still in fabulous condition, of course, and a Stone Storm scroll?"

Quartz glanced up, lavender hair flying as the other woman entered the shop. Oh fun, a customer an- Oh, fuuuun. It looked like she got to deal with someone else who didn't mind having a little fun. It was always good to insert a little spice into life, and that meant having fun. Especially with a girl.

"Oh well hello there honey. Yes, we did get a fresh shipment in today, along with the two bows that you mentioned. Who's the lucky one getting the toys?"

Cool and appraising eyes flicked over the Long Arm as Quartz started to move into the shelves, finding the two bows that were requested and looking back, unconsciously brushing the Domination Line as she did so. Part of her was wondering who the lucky one was. The other was wondering how much fun it'd be to go fishing for women instead of men today.

"Well, if by that you mean Raining Rocks, I can give you the whole pack at around...6500 GP."

Kira contemplated the appropriate response to the woman's question. On one hand, speaking the truth would be the right thing to do and would probably get this done faster than if she played around.

On the other hand, she could have a little bit of fun with this- especially after her little one's sassy comments. "I'm just doing as my mistress commands," She replied coolly, a graceful, one shouldered shrug dismissing the hidden meaning beneath her words.

"I apologize, my mind was on other matters, I meant to say a Stone Storm. Care to give me the revised price on the total?" Sekai was still trying to figure out why what she'd said to the shopkeeper sounded so suspicious; Kira looked forward to hearing the horrified screech once she'd figured it out.

She couldn't help it. She actually giggled. A mistress to this woman? Oooh she could get into this transaction in one way or another.

"A mistress? Really now? I do so like a good...oh dear, what am I saying. I think 6000 GP would do nicely for that, unless you want to throw in your member address...and hers to if you really want to. Might lower the price even more."

She leaned forward, eyes sparkling with mischief as she looked at the woman in front of her. "So, tell me. Does she do anything...fun? I'm afraid that most men don't like me once I try reeling them in, it's so..." She sighed in misery. "Disappointing."

And... it was another really strange one, Kira noted to herself and Sekai. Definitely wouldn't allow her little one in the store while she was working the counters; better to take her chances with Saphyre than with... whatever this one's name was. "I'll bet it is disappointing,"

She was playing the sympathetic shoulder... or ear, whatever it was. "Not to rush, but I'm in a little bit of a hurry. What's the revised total?"

Quartz chuckled. "I get it, that's fine. It's 6000 as is. Can I do anything else for you today?"

A light curve of her lips signaled her amusement at the start of her favorite part of the game. "I think 5500 GP should suffice, wouldn't you say?" She gave a bit of a shrug. "You understand, of course."

Now they were getting somewhere. Filing information about the woman for future transactions that they might have, she quickly fell into this part of her role with pleasure. She looked somewhat plaintively at the bows that she was to hand over, tracing one of them with a smooth hand as she spoke. "So low? But these are such wonderful bows, don't you think? Surely they could go for 5800."

"Wonderful indeed," Kira purred softly as she traced the outline of the weapon with her eyes, taking particular notice of the place where her little one's hands would rest before looking coyly out of the corner of one eye. "I suppose I can be persuaded to pay 5600."

Quartz pouted slightly as she looked at the bows again. How would the woman react to this one? She'd ignored it earlier so... "You drive a hard bargain...perhaps I could agree to go so low for a Member Address?"

"My mistress is quite the hardened one, I'd be punished for sure if I let such a thing go without her permission," Kira replied, looking almost forlorn as she made herself out to be tired, passing a hand over her eyes as if expressing how difficult it could be to keep the woman she spoke about happy.

Sekai was going to try to kick her ass six ways to the new millenium at this rate, the AI thought to herself with delight and pretended to consider a new option before speaking again. "Perhaps, if given time, I could convince her to part with the Member Address for the next transaction?"

Ahhh...one of these types of people. Somewhat amused, Quartz adopted an expression of glumness as she looked back at the bows and then to the woman in front of her. It was with regret that she spoke this time, as if she really didn't like saying what she had to. "Well...I suppose I could go to 5700 then if you try..."

Sensing the barganing portion was about to outlive its purpose, Kira straightened her spine and tossed her hair over her shoulder, giving the woman a raised eyebrow before speaking once more. "5650 and an attempt to convince my mistress to part with the Member Address for the next transaction; final offer."

"Very well, sold. Do come again, and try to bring your mistress next time? I'd love to meet her."

The last part was said with a small amount of glee, although she really did want to meet the woman who had wrapped this person around their little finger.

"I'll try to do just that. Thank you for your cooperation." Kira replied courteously, bowing slightly as she placed down the agreed upon GP and took the bows under her arm before exiting the store.

The high pitched, mortified shriek that came around five minutes later and the hysterical sounding laughter said plenty about who had who wrapped around their finger and who actually held the proper role of "Mistress"... to those with the knowledge, anyways.
