Title: What's a boy to do?

A groggy Fist Fighter walked into the Pawn Shop, stumbling a bit. Trying not to smack into any merchandise, he made his way to the counter. Ringing the bell, he smiled.
"Anyone home? I heard news of new crap. I want some of it. Anyone here?"

"Oh yes, there's new stock."
Lavender hair came around the corner, framing two pale-silver eyes that stared with the intensity of a hunting hawk at the customer. They lit up instantly, and the rest of the body came around after that. A silver and black dress clad a body that could have been called criminal, although the whip that the woman held at the woman definitely didn't belong there. It was called a Domination Line for a reason, and she was looking to have some fun. A warm, perhaps too warm voice addressed the Fist Fighter as she made her way to the counter.
"Now then, what can I get you? Items? Armor? A new...weapon perhaps? Or perhaps you'd like me to buy?"

"Oh honey, you must be new. Saph would kill me if I made any advances on y.... Is that a Domination Line you have? Oh lord, get me out of here. WAIT! FOCUS! Ion Strike. I want it. What are we looking at for it?"

There was a small smile as she stood behind the counter, eyes glittering as she winked at the man. She'd have to ask Sapphire what went on between them, that might be amusing.
"Well, if I don't give you an option, then you have plenty of excuses for her now don't you? As for the Ion Strike...call it 400 and we have a deal. It's not just new stock we have in after all. We do have a bit of a sale here in quite a few things..."
A lifted eyebrow suggested that he might not want to know what those other things were, and it was followed up by a smirk that said that she wanted him to know what else there was on sale today.

"Is she coming on to you?"
"Yes she's coming on to me. Crap, that was out loud. Quite a few...eh? What about Pawner's Member Addys?" 400 GP was slowly placed onto the table as the question hung in the air.

The smile grew just slightly. A veteran. Definitely would have to agree then, if only for asking Sapphire about it later. A member address would make that task so much easier. A price well worth it then. His earlier blunder made this all the better, although now she was wondering who he might be talking to...or if he just did that all the time. Someone who thought aloud...a pity he was already taken. Oh well, all for fun she thought.
"At least I haven't started to use my fishing line yet? Masochists seem to like it, I don't know why. If you give me a member address, I'll drop it to 300."
Centrus - April 16, 2009 06:44 AM (GMT)
"Oh honey. You misunderstand. I wasn't offering mine. I was asking for yours."
Quartz - April 16, 2009 06:49 AM (GMT)
"Oh dear, I see. Well, in that case, it'd be 350."
She looked at him mischeviously before raising one eyebrow. Well, maybe she could remember his name long enough to ask Sapphire anyways. Write it down somewhere...whichever, it all worked.

"You know what, darlin'? Keep the extra 50. Buy yourself something nice." He winked as he walked away, smiling to himself.
"You are so lame."
"Says the bird who has never had a date. Dammit. That was out loud again. I hate you."

She chuckled to herself as the boy walked off. Interesting player indeed. After a few moments, she walked off to the back again, intent on asking Sapphire, in person, about what had happened.
