Title: Purchases of a Newbie
Description: 'Cause we all know we need new stuff

Zeich - April 3, 2009 07:10 AM (GMT)
Zeich strode into the Pawn Shop, a bit out of place and curious as he looked over the variety of items and weaponry hung along the walls and across the display counters. He knew what he wanted to get, after checking through guides to see which weapons would be the most suitable, but he had to make sure there were any in stock. His pointed ears twitched as he made his way to the front counter, fidgeting visibly as he waited. His tail thrashed behind him anxiously as he placed his order.

"Hey, is there any chance that you have an Iron Rod and a Flaming Wand in stock?"

The Long Arm yawned. "Newbie, eh? Yeah. I guess we've got those. Can give 'em to you for...let's say 750 GP. Sound good?" Eyebrows rose as he tossed a business card at a man attempting to grab a scroll. A smile played across his face. "Eh?"

Zeich gave a wan smile, the expression odd on his muzzle as he thought the deal over. "Well... that sounds good and all... but is there a chance I can get them any cheaper? I'm a bit short of cash at the moment, you see. It's how we newbies are."

"If you want to trade in your Member Address, I can go as low as 635."

Zeich - April 6, 2009 02:23 AM (GMT)
Zeich gave the man a flat stare, his ears flattening slightly. "How about an even 630 GP and my Member's Address? Does that sound alright?"

Gambit - April 6, 2009 03:30 PM (GMT)
"I can go 640, sir, but not 630. I could probably work 633, if them higher-ups aren't watching. If that doesn't work for ya, you could try to find a similar deal over at Xiao's, but I doubt that he's as kind or ruggedly handsome as myself."

Zeich - April 6, 2009 07:29 PM (GMT)
Zeich shook his head in slight annoyance at the self-absorbed shopkeeper, laying a bag of GP on the table "640 it is- those off-numbers still kill me, though."
