Title: I smell a Sale...

Locke - February 14, 2009 11:01 PM (GMT)
Baron entered the Pawn Shop, intrigued by the offer of a sale. There was one item he wanted, though he had been a bit behind in GP before and hadn't bothered to come in until he had some. Fortunately, the sale alleviated some of that burden.

Leaning on the counter, he waited for the Pawn Shop keeper to approach him, ready to do some business. "Excuse me, I saw you have a sale going- how much for a Snow Panther, might I ask?"

Saphyre - February 15, 2009 05:31 AM (GMT)
She giggled - she loved sales, because they meant she got sooooo much more attention on her birthday than she would otherwise.

Let's see, a Snow Panther? 1530 if you meet the conditions of the sale. If you're a good boy, I might be able to get you even more of a discount.

Locke - February 15, 2009 05:33 AM (GMT)
Baron flashed a charming smile, leaning forward and placing his chin on one hand. "A good boy...? Whatever do you mean, Miss Saphyre? Any man who would dare act anything but angelic around you doesn't deserve to be in your presence. Now... how would you like your kiss, birthday girl?"

Saphyre - February 16, 2009 06:36 PM (GMT)
Now that's the sort of thing I like to hear from a gentleman. Not enough of you around nowadays.

She giggled and leaned towards her customer, birthday presents and money on the brain.

Smiling softly, Baron leaned forward, placing one hand under the shopkeeper's dainty chin and lifting her head to meet her eyes.

"How about you be a dear and let me off with that Snow Panther for 1200 GP, and I'll return the favor with a kiss now and an IOU for another one at a future time, hm? Redeemable whenever, even if it isn't your birthday."

Saphyre - February 17, 2009 03:55 PM (GMT)
You drive a hard bargain... I'll do it, but you have to give me your member address too. You know, just so I can make sure you don't skip out on your end of the deal.

She giggled, poking him softly in the chest.

Locke - February 17, 2009 07:36 PM (GMT)
Baron acted as if he were having a hard time considering the bargain, but with a "defeated" look he handed both the money and the member's address to the shopkeeper with one hand, using the other to grasp the woman's and bring it to his lips in a soft touch.

"And you say I drive a hard bargain... it's not easy having both brains and beauty, is it my dear?"

Saphyre - February 18, 2009 06:02 AM (GMT)
No, I suppose it's not. But somehow I manage.

She giggled again and stood to find his items, waving it at him.

It keeps me in business, after all.

Locke - February 18, 2009 06:12 AM (GMT)
Baron gave her a wink and a grin at the remark, and couldn't resist adding just a bit more to it as he waited for the shopkeeper to return.

"I'm surprised it's so empty of late, you think the men would be lining up just for a sight of you, and maybe to buy something to make you happy."

Saphyre - February 20, 2009 10:33 AM (GMT)
You'd think so, wouldn't you? But unfortunately in my business, having a relationship is bad for business.

She sighed and set the armor down in front of him.

But sales drive in customers.

Picking up the item and giving the shopkeeper a quick smile, Baron turned to leave, only pausing once to glance over his shoulder.

"That's true, they do that indeed... but I still think you could draw them all with a single smile nonetheless. Ta-ta!"

The last was punctuated with a wave as the Twin Blade headed out with the item in hand.
