Okay, so this isn't about quest rewards or doing some hall of fame thingy. I think at some point we should do some quest award thingy (this is kinda from SR, mind you :P) or something of the sort. No, not some hall of fame thingy, but...well, yeah. >_> Some yearly thing where we reward funniest quest or best quest or best writer or SOMETHING.

If this sounds like a Hall of Fame to people, close the topic, but really, I want to find some way to recognize people for their awesome quests. ): I mean, some of the quests I've read here are simply amazing!

I think the main problem with that is the subjectivity, everybody could have a different opinion about what the best quest or the funniest quest is.

Not to mention. If you look at SR: The whole voting and promoting for each member takes forever and the list of voting threads goes on and on. I think it's just a time consuming, cheap way to get awards...No offense. If you're the best than it will reflect in your character and the awards you receive.

It really does sound like a hall of fame, honestly. I'd say that it's not worth the hassle.

I think it's something I'd encourage each individual clan to do; awards from clan leaders would be fine and appropriate, such as keeping track of the best duelist and the highest level and so on for each clan. However, I think that trying to do it on the site as a whole is a waste of time and nothing but an obnoxious popularity contest where people would wind up feeling betrayed.

Ah, thanks for the feedback. I thought it kinda seemed a lot like my previous (and not so good) Hall of Fame idea...

If any Admin feels the need, you can close the topic. XD

The idea isn't entirely a bad one. I bet this would cause a lot more people to read a lot more quests, thus causing more activity through competition and just hanging around the site for longer. But, of course, it would cause lots of drama and shtuff. Oh well.
