Title: Getting rid of junk
Bane - December 15, 2008 12:47 AM (GMT)
Bane walked into the Pawn Shop, looking around and carrying a large sack on his back. As he reached the counter, he dumped a whole bunch of equipment on the counter.
"How much ia a Magnifier, a Spiderblade, a Kikujyumonji, a Kikuhyakomonji, and a Silver Bracer worth?"
Bane - December 20, 2008 02:16 AM (GMT)
Looking around, he noticed that no one was about...yet. Perhaps lag? In any case, he reached out and rang the bell that sat on the counter thrice, calling out.
"Hello? Anyone there?"
Gambit - December 26, 2008 11:27 PM (GMT)
"Bonjour, mon ami. So sorry about the wait. There was a bit of a....well, we need not go into that at the moment." The Long Arm attempted to use his spear to push the purple lace bra on the floor behind the counter to an area where the Heavy Blade might not see it. "Ah, a trade-in, I see. Let's see. Given the condition of the blades and the sheer number of them, I'll give you...10,600 for 'em. Unless, that is, I could interest you in something we have in stock."
Bane - December 26, 2008 11:49 PM (GMT)
"Oh, it's no problem...Um...I was looking to possibly order a Black Tonfa, but naturally I'd like to know what kind of price I'm looking at before I commit to a sale." Bane looked around the store, knowing what else may be nice to collect depending on the price of the Black Tonfa.
Gambit - December 27, 2008 12:23 AM (GMT)
"Well, sir... If you're looking to get the Tonfa now, it'd take a good 8,700 out of your spoils from these blades. If you'd like to wait a week, I could work some of my magic," a hand was brought up to one side of his face, in an attempt to prevent those behind the counter to hear what he was saying. He leaned in and whispered, "And trust me, it is magic," he returned to his standing position and dropped his hand back to the counter, "I think a mere 6,800 would do."
As girlish giggling erupted in the background, his eyebrows shot up a little. "Well Baney, what do ya say?"
Bane - December 27, 2008 01:07 AM (GMT)
The giggles from somewhere unseen threw Bane of for a second, causing him to forget what he was after. "Oh, um...yeah, that sounds good. May as well wait the week and get some extra money. I've got a loan to pay off anyway. Thanks, Gambit."
Bane - January 4, 2009 10:59 PM (GMT)
Bane walked in a week after, and seeing a Black Tonfa on the counter with his name on it, he took it and left the money on the counter, before ringing the bell and left.
