This is fucking insane. How can you just end something like this without warning. Rayo gave a date for his ending, but you said you would let us know. I have more money to spend and I feel that this is completely idiotic. You know? I mean for real. I have 6k more I could have spent, but if you want to end the auction on a whim then so be it. Not everyone can access the site every day, and I feel a bit ousted on this matter, but whatever. Thank you Shenmock for your hasty ending fueled by greed and not by fairness. It was great ^_^.

Sure you said to IM you shenny, but since you already awarded it to Bane, so I will just say that next time, you should put a cut off date to begin with instead of deciding it whenever you fucking want to. That way, there can be no complaints like this that ever blossom.

If you'll recall in one of his earlier posts, Hac, before you start getting all irritated over an RP item, he said that the auction would probably last about a week. If you'd pay attention to the dates and the other posts, perhaps you'd notice that it's been that alloted time, thus he had every right to end it when he did. So, rather than getting worked up and name-calling, just let it go, seriously. It's over with.

If need be means that if it's necessary. Which in this case would mean if there's another bidder who is willing to bid. And it was somewhat unjust, considering how there wasn't even a 24 hour window in which Hac could have posted up his new bid.

But hey, that's just my opinion, and I don't run the game here.

To start off and clarify, before people go crazy with implications toward me getting mad over an imaginary item, I have compiled this statement:

I hold no grudge against Bane or anything, so do not think that all you out there. The real appointment of my, hmm...anger over an item->((this is what I believe Locke is explicitly saying.)) Heh, how wrong he is, this is not over an item, this is over fairness. Now, my name was in the bid for the item, yes. However, this is not because i did not win it...no....this is fueled by the unjust ways of the one auctioning the item ended said auction. If one wants to give a vague day of ending, that is his choice, but I say that the people bidding need to be told the exact date as problems like this do not happen.

Hacorie, there is absolutely no need for that kind of language. You don't think it's fair? Deal with it. You may say it's over fairness, but you're still talking about a virtual item. We're here to have fun, not harass each other--and I do consider such blatant cursing directed at another player as harassment. It was Shenmock's item, Shenmock's auction, Shenmock's rules. Just because you have a bunch of virtual GP does not give you any authority over those three things. He said what the rough timeline would be; you should have paid more attention. Expressing opinions is fine, but civility is crucial. No one is going to side with you when you use such abrasive language, especially against a young player.

And I hardly see how closing an auction early is greedy, seeing as it results in him getting less money. It's certainly not insane when it is his own auction.

Forgive me for interjecting, but since the original purpose of this thread was for the auction, and as it has deviated greatly from such, this thread is being closed.

If the auction reopens, or Shen would like to conduct another one in the same thread, I'm sure anyone on the staff would be happy to reopen the thread.

I didn't think this was going to happen, but... *sigh* I guess I'm going to have to confess that, yes, I was being rather vague with things, and I'm sorry for that... @_@; This auction is still closed and Bane still keeps the item, as Hac no longer wants it, but... >_< Gah, I just got pestered into closing it down... I'll reopen it if need be (really sorry, Bane, but...), but right now, it doesn't seem like Hac wants it. I know I wasn't fair, and I made a mistake by that...

So...sorry? I don't know, but it just seems like everyone's freaking out because of it. Seriously, all it takes is a single PM and a little bit of discussion with me...or something! <_<
