Title: AM Team One
Description: aka Team Awesome

Centrus - October 6, 2008 12:36 AM (GMT)
Since Kashi and Raq both have posting permissions here, we might as well set up a form of communication, since, you know, SOMEONE's always invisible.

So yeah! Xan and I are already there. Kashi? Raq? Quit draggin' yer asses. =D

Magras - October 6, 2008 01:47 AM (GMT)
Huh? Posting permission? Whoops. =/

Sorry I took so long, had a Bio concept map and a Tech essay (-_-) to finish beforehand. Factor in that we had company and, well, you get the picture.

Post's up now, though. Beware of flying suicidal Kashis of death?

Centrus - October 6, 2008 03:05 AM (GMT)
Don't worry about it, son. I didn't tell you you had the ability to post here. xD

Raquar - October 6, 2008 03:18 AM (GMT)
Ya ya shut yer beak.

Its there. Are we gonna try and do some more or just wait for Virgil?

Xantos - October 6, 2008 04:16 AM (GMT)
Short answer? Yes. Long answer? HELL YES.

Little late into this thread, but I like to think I joined with style, eh?

Raquar - October 6, 2008 05:16 AM (GMT)
Well now we can dramatically point out how Hello Doberman's come leaping majestically out of the giant trees of flame.

Centrus - October 6, 2008 05:24 AM (GMT)
Hello is a typo, for those who didn't know. xD It's just Hell. Although Xan and I had a wonderful chat about how adorable Hello Doberman must be.

Xantos - October 6, 2008 06:36 AM (GMT)
And they're all kind of... Well, slightly dead. Just a bit. Hardly worth mentioning really. Eenie weenie bit. Fixable, I'm sure. Just reverse the polarity and OW AUGH MY EYES DAMN YOU LYING MOVIES AIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Raquar - October 6, 2008 06:38 AM (GMT)
Well they're all dead right now. There's techincally an unlimited amount of them.

And Frankly m'dear, I don't give a damn. I'm calling them Hello Doberman because its cooler that way. Sounds like an event specific monster meant to welcome us. So deal.

Centrus - October 8, 2008 06:25 AM (GMT)
Well boys, how're we crossing?

Xantos - October 8, 2008 06:52 AM (GMT)
Well, I'm going to allow someone else the first attempt (and catchup) since I've just gone, but as far as guessing, I have several ideas.

1) A fee. In most versions of 'crossing the river styx' I've seen, Charon demands a fee for crossing, generally coins. Sometimes more extreme.

2)Kill ourselves. See also...

3)Damn ourselves. He's specifically stated he'll allow people across in this manner, although it won't work for everyone. I do have a couple ressurects, but we can't kill the entire party or we'll fail, I'm sure of it. So we'll need another solution, at least for a few of us.

4)Fight him. If all else fails, we could beat him into a bloody pulp and take his oar. I mean, it's just a boat on the river of the souls of the eternally damned. What're they going to do, wail at us? Last time I checked, ethereal beings couldn't affect corporeal beings without special abilities, although some games tend to say 'to hell with it'.

Anyway, those are the ideas that come to me this early in the morning. The moon calls, it's time for the hunt. :3 Til' tomorrow.

Magras - October 8, 2008 06:36 PM (GMT)
Might I suggest that we avoid fighting Charon if we can? I doubt the souls are the things we'd have to contend with. I would assume that from here on in unless stated, fighting NPCs would be the worst-case scenario.

Xantos - October 8, 2008 07:24 PM (GMT)
Yeah, thus the 'if all else fails'. The literary part of me is saying the solution is a mixture of 2 and 3, and part of the gamer part agrees. I'm thinking if one of us kills three, he's pretty much damned himself, and the rest are now dead. The only catch with this sort of thing is you generally have to mean it. Most games generally don't take it if you go "see you on the other side", you have to really mean it. Other than that, everyone would meet the criteria, and I have a handful of ressurects for emergencies.

The other part of gamer me is saying "Just because there's a lock on the door doesn't mean it IS locked." He seems to be begrudgingly inviting us (Or at least Stane) along due to the lecture he gave Charon, so the first thing we could try would be to get on the boat. Either he'll let us on with minimal hassle, or he'll say "Oh wait just kidding," and kick us out. It's worth a try, at least.

Anyway, one of y'all go ahead and do something, and I'll either follow suit or wait for one more, depending.

Xantos - October 12, 2008 12:58 AM (GMT)
So uh... You guys didn't die on me did you? Hellooooo? Anyone here?

Centrus - October 14, 2008 06:51 AM (GMT)
HEY HOSERS

I posted. =D

Centrus - October 15, 2008 10:21 PM (GMT)
Raq, Magz, you guys have until midnight before the week is up. Dx

Xantos - October 16, 2008 12:59 AM (GMT)
Yeaah, I'm gonna post tomorrow morning. 'f ya wanna do it before me, do it now. MIGHT do it tomorrow night, work depending. Aiming for morning.

Magras - October 16, 2008 01:44 AM (GMT)
In the quest to stay caught up in school I've been lax in posting across the board -.- I'm working on a post right now. Beware - it's gonna be short and shitty, possibly lots of bitching.

EDIT: Post up. Blegh. Don't bother reviving Kashi until they're across.

Raquar - October 16, 2008 02:43 AM (GMT)
I'll come up with something tonight.

Xantos - October 16, 2008 06:47 PM (GMT)
...And now, a moment of silence for the dearly departed. May your souls wither in eternal damnation.

On the upside, ghosts don't weigh shit. And only two people can cross at a time, plus Charon due to weight restrictions. Me + Stane = 2, and 3 weightless ghosts. Plus Charon. Weight limit met, all five (plus Charon) can cross at once. \o/ I'm a fractactical genius. :P

Magras - October 16, 2008 09:45 PM (GMT)
Just a note that he's not Magras, Xan. The name is Kashi.

*fixes the broken record*

Xantos - October 17, 2008 01:26 AM (GMT)
...Knew I'd do that eventually. Goddammit. I'll go fix that, shall I?

Xantos - October 24, 2008 01:20 AM (GMT)
Hoi, all. Since I kind of need to ressurect you guys, but I've just posted, if you feel like going ahead and posting feel free to powerplay me tossing a res to each of you. I've got three, and I'm planning on doing it anyway, so don't delay your post over lil' ol' me. As far as time line, it'll probably be as soon as we hit the opposite shore, post-time wise.

Anyway, yeah. Feel free to res yourself. So says Xan.

Raquar - October 25, 2008 12:03 AM (GMT)
Mmkay. Riddle is solved, I don't know if you guys want me to post first so we can spend the rest of the time exploring or if you guys want to post ahead of me and poke around a bit. Preferences?

Magras - October 25, 2008 03:55 AM (GMT)
You can go ahead and post, mine'll be up by Tuesday at the latest.

Centrus - October 25, 2008 05:01 AM (GMT)
Lessee here. I gots me work in da mornin, but I should be able to kick something out tomorrow night. If not, well, I'll be a Tuesday folk with Cap'n Crunch thar.

Xantos - October 25, 2008 05:32 AM (GMT)
I'll follow you up if you want to go ahead, unless someone beats me too it. Out of curiosity, what was it? I've been puzzling over the dumb question all day. All I could come up with was Religion or Knowledge, and neither one really fit the bill.

Magras - October 25, 2008 08:13 PM (GMT)
Since no-one else has our riddle, I don't believe I'm crossing any boundaries by posting that the answer is most likely a coffin.

Raquar - October 26, 2008 03:15 AM (GMT)
Coffin was the answer. Alright. I'll throw up something in the relatively near future.

Xantos - November 4, 2008 02:15 AM (GMT)
[21:02] Xant0s: Auuuugh
[21:03] Xant0s: Our team is so slooooooow @_@
[21:06] Duchudda: mhm
[21:06] Duchudda: it's too bad
[21:07] Duchudda: I'm pretty sure the word on the street is to ask everyone if they still want to go on for regular quest rewards
[21:08] Xant0s: Eeeeh?
[21:08] Xant0s: What do you mean?
[21:08] Duchudda: no one posted in over a week
[21:08] Xant0s: On ours?
[21:09] Duchudda: if someone doesn't post in a week, they're gone
[21:09] Duchudda: need 3 to stay in
[21:09] Duchudda: we have 0
-----------------------------
So uh. I'm probably going to drop, since I was in it for the event and was wanting to go on a quest with Hax, unless this turns out to be incorrect.

Magras - November 4, 2008 03:31 AM (GMT)
Sorry, but I'm dropping too. NaNo, work, school and university stuff has me too busy.

Xantos - November 4, 2008 06:09 AM (GMT)
Important update. Read and post in that. If it happens there's some leeway and we're miraculously not dropped out, I'm still game, but if we are I'm prolly gonna bounce and see about a quest with Hax.

Xantos - November 11, 2008 04:01 PM (GMT)
Yo guys. I think I'm going to have to bow out. Hax is gettin' itchy to start, and I kinda wanna jump on that. Sorry =/

Magras - November 12, 2008 01:06 AM (GMT)
As I posted in the other thread, I'm out of it too. Just can't keep up with posting for a while.

Centrus - November 12, 2008 02:58 AM (GMT)
Raq-ie-poo, Let's do something.

Magz, I still owe you a quest. *hands over your Silver Ticket again*

Magras - November 12, 2008 03:09 AM (GMT)
Keep it, you owe me that quest when you feel like doing it silly! Otherwise I'd have the Cat-o-nine-tails out already

Raquar - November 12, 2008 11:06 AM (GMT)
Wazzut? K, I'll try to be on AIM sometime soon Cent, I've been busy with work and emus and between the two my time has gone poof.

But I think the event is dead anyway.
