Baron walked into the Pawn Shop once more, a new list ready to go. Unfortunately, he knew that he was going to be giving Nizam some money from the transactions this time instead of the other way around, but at least he could cover it. He placed his list on the counter and waited.

A simple enough order, right?

Nizam didn't look up from his book. "You owe me 4,300 GP."

Frowning, Locke pulled out a small bag of GP, one that contained exactly 4000 GP. He checked the contents, and sighed, acting the sad fool.

"Aw, c'mon, Nizam? Can't you lower it to 4000 even, just for me? I'd really appreciate it, as would my wallet."

Nizam yawned. "Give me 4,250 GP and I won't use your eyes as cocktail olives for wasting my time, Butterface."

Baron returned the yawn with a grin. "4200 is my final offer, Nizam. And I'd like to keep my eyes if possible- they tend to be at least somewhat useful for me."

Nizam snorted. "Final offer? Too bad. See ya' around, Short Stick."

Baron considered briefly, and then scanned through the shelves, checking to see if there was anything else he wanted before concluding the deal. He hated uneven numbers.

"Bah, fine. If you're really gonna push that point. Thanks for the deal, Nizam."

Nizam only grunted.

Baron started to leave, then turned around, remembering something. "Oh, Nizam! I forgot something. I need to sell my Fire Dance Hat- how much can I get for it?

Holding back a snarl, the man finally looked up from the shadows of his hood. "I'll give you 1,800 GP for it."

Baron nodded and took the money, leaving his armor piece behind. With a wave, he left, sure he had everything this time. "Thanks again, Nizam!"
