Title: Giggles' First solo
Giggles - September 13, 2008 05:23 AM (GMT)
Judy smiled as she jumped onto the computer. This was going to be fun she thought as she immersed herself into the world…

Giggles stepped out and turned around to face the Chaos gate. so…this is it? I just input words and go somewhere. She was about to do this when someone bumped into her. She found herself disturbed and the character that had bumped into her stopped and began to gripe at her.
“Shut up will ya!” She yelled back. “You bothered me.”
The man grunted and turned away. He began to walk the other way, mumbling something about stupid newbies as he went. Giggles turned around and raised her arms to the chaos gate. This was going to be her way of leaving for a field. She chose three words that sounded pretty good to her.
“Delta Soft Eternal Nothingness!”
She found herself enveloped in light and then smiled as she was dropped off in a large wasteland. It was cloudy and the sun set the entire field to a golden light. Sand blew about, but that didn’t bother her much. She pushed her goggles down over her eyes and drew her sword. Something out there was moving, and she noted that it was coming towards her, three bizarre men with horns and swords. She gave a smile. This would be some fun. They didn’t act like players, so she assumed that they were monsters. She ground her heel into the dirt and took off, her sword in both hands behind her.
“Aiiiieeeeee!” She screamed as she charged towards the trio.
As she got closer she was able to get an automatic target on the creatures. She flicked over each one. All were Swordmanoids, each with 60HP. She growled as she got closer, her sword bouncing behind her. The first attack was made by the nearest Swordmanoid. There was a loud clanging noise as their weapons met. The blades rebounded, and came back together again, more clanging noises as the two crossed blades. With each swing the other two got closer and closer. Finally the other two joined in. She ducked as three blades crossed just above her lowered head. She swung her sword round and caught each of them by the waist. They all piled up together and fell away. She was ready for another swing when they recovered, but they weren’t ready for the large sharpened side to slice through them all again.
She cart-wheeled back to get a small bit of distance between herself and the tightly grouped trio of monsters in order to try out a spell. She wasn’t sure how it would work, but it would be a pleasure to see it in action. She selected the spell and activated it as soon as possible. A devious smile upon her face and her sword held above her head. As she said it she swung her sword downwards, pointing it at the trio.
“Juk Rom!” She yelled.
As twigs and branches were wrenched from the dead earth and various other places to form a rather bizarre tornado, She ran towards them again, ready to slice into them some more. For what they were, there wasn’t much to killing them. A cross slash finished the job. As soon as the small tornado died down she was able to see what was left. Nothing had really made it out. The small HP of the trio made them extremely easy to defeat. A ringing noise and she spotted a rather small blue chest. It didn’t look too trusting to her. She paused for a second to scan that nothing else was about. Sure that the coast was clear she became a temporary statue within the world.
++++++
Judy took a deep breath and picked up her little folded decision maker. This would be her guidance for this particular task. She flipped it back and forth and back and forth until she opened it up to decide what to do about the chest. She read the flap aloud to herself.
“Alpha, beta, mu, Nu.” That was her decision then. She set it back down and returned to the game.
++++++
“Don’t trust you, so you can stay shut.” She said.
She swung her sword in an arc and walked off towards the next place, where something was sparkling. It was funny how this wasteland seemed to stretch on and on. She could swear that she had passed the same set of windblown stones thrice now, and she still hadn’t made it to that shiny spot far out there. After a while she began to get bored, fairly quickly actually, of trying to make it to that shiny spot out there. Instead she looked around and spotted a rotating ring not too far from her. It was odd, and she didn’t know what it was. She walked towards it, in the mood to figure out what it was.
Approaching it, the ring exploded into little bits, replaced by four smaller figures, a small team of goblin creatures. She was close enough already to read what the tag said. Goblins, 50HP each.
Giggles - September 13, 2008 02:36 PM (GMT)
She swung her sword around in a large arc when she got closer, just like when she was fighting with the Swordmanoids earlier. She had miscalculated a bit when she did this, since her sword went over their heads. A quick sensation of frustration was replaced by a sudden sensation of weakness and then it felt like she was getting drained. Two of the goblins had smashed their blades into her. It didn’t hurt her too much, but it was a staggering feeling all the same, losing some life for the first time. She swung her sword low and repelled a few of the attacks. Damn these little buggers… She wrenched her sword upwards and swung it on a diagonal, knocking away two of them.
“Aarrrrrrrgghhaaaaaaaaaaaa!” She grunted, heaving her sword back again to connect with the other two. For some annoying reason, these weaker monsters were still tougher than the ones she had fought before. “Eeh-DIIIIEEEE!”
She swung her sword again, repelling them and taking chunks out of their life. Her swing was so great however that she ended up turning herself as well with its momentum. She let her sword drop to the ground and spun around to face the goblins once more. They were converging once again. What’s with monsters and coming at you in a group? It makes it so easy to… The idea clicked in her head. Knowing that her previous spell had taken something from a small bar just below her HP, she checked the number corresponding with her skill and her bar. Both were a perfect match so far. It looked to her that this lower bar would replenish itself over time. She plunged her sword into the air, yelling, and wrenching it down to face the group of goblins.
“Juk Rom!” She yelled, watching as nearby roots and trunks of dead trees shot up through the ground and began to crush the goblins within a slightly heavier tornado.
Just as before, she rushed forwards, ready to hack and slash at the goblins. But her sword made a dull thud as it hit the thick branches. They were too strong for her to pierce at this point, and one of the goblins hadn’t been caught within the grasp of her spell. She spun her sword around and swung it down into the goblin’s head. Inside the wooden prison she could still hear the creatures getting pounded into bits, but outside of that, she was enjoying her beat down of the last goblin. If she was lucky the ones inside would be dead before the spell was finished. She gave a quick grin at the free goblin before making another repeating cross slash, weaving the sword up and down and side to side until it collapsed. A sword thrust out through the mess beside her and stuck into her side. Oh, great. Couldn’t be too lucky now could I? She fell back at the thrust and watched as three raggedy goblins walked through the falling sands. It appeared to her that when the spell was done the trunks, as old and frail as they were, turned to sand and fell back down. What fun.
“Am not getting in a better mood here.” She hissed. “Am gonna have to slay you all the harder way now.”
She shook some dust off and swung her sword over and onto her shoulder. The next thing she did was a little hazy to her as she had slid her goggles back up onto her forehead. Sand stung her eyes, but at least she was able to see the goblins anyways. She rushed forwards and rammed her shoulder into one of them. This goblin fell to the ground and became crushed as a giant sword went through it. The next one was caught off guard by a kick and slash, one right after the other as she threw herself at it. And finally the last goblin fell as she ran it through with her sword and flung it away into a nearby rock pillar. She gave a quick gasp and pushed her goggles back onto her head and went forth to find her next task. She looked out to that still sparkling thing on the horizon and scowled. She had already set her sights on a large stone tower not far from her. It was something she hadn’t investigated yet, and would be worth it probably too.
It didn’t take her much longer to reach it, the tower. Upon investigating she found an open door leading down below, like the entrance to an old castle or dungeon. She looked about and saw another two portals not too far from where she stood. She had another difficult decision. Investigate the tower or investigate the monster spawning portals.
++++++
Judy performed the same decision making task she had done before, and repeated aloud the decision given.
“Fight! ‘Cause it’s Right!” She said aloud. Well, that was her decision then. Go and check out the portals.
++++++
She approached them carefully, wondering what could possibly come out of these portals too. A wrong step quickly told her as both portals blew up and became replaced by not five or six monsters, but nine. Two goblins, three swordmanoids, and four weird bobbing things that scrambled towards her. They moved pretty fast too, they were within range of her targeting so fast that it wasn’t even funny to her. Mad Grass, 60HP each. What glorious fun was in store for her now? Nothing moved as fast as those four hungry looking things, and it rather scared her too for all it was. The other creatures were slow moving, just like her class, which was easier to deal with. But these? It was a tad scary. She swung her sword threateningly; ready to slice one of them to ribbons if it got too close.
(OOC:Made an error, and have corrected it.)
Giggles - September 13, 2008 05:45 PM (GMT)
When she swung her sword she was slightly surprised to see that the creature didn’t attempt to get away. Instead it took a large bite out and clamped onto her sword. She swung again, trying to shake it off, but it wouldn’t let go. Another clamped on, and then another, until all four of them were hanging on for dear life to her sword. I’ve made a mistake. This isn’t a creature I can deal with right now. She swung her sword again, trying to shake them off. This really isn’t good. She swung it again, and smacked it off of a nearby Swordmanoid. It did little good for her since none of the Mad Grass’ had come off. She needed to get away. She tried to run, but the damned things had weighed her sword down a little too much. She shook it and tried to kick one off. Thankfully though, it and a partner let go. They did this to try and bite her foot off. With less weight, she missed with her kick and landed half awkwardly and began to drag her sword behind her as the things snipped at her heels. As she continued to run, she came closer and closer to that stairwell into well…whatever it led into. She just hoped as her feet thudded on the steps and her sword grinded upon them too that these damn plants wouldn’t come with her…
She was extremely thankful when it turned out she was right. Everything was black for a few moments and then she found herself placed into a dungeon. She walked around it a little bit, passing from the room she had entered and into another in an ‘L’ shape. From this room she found herself to be entering a large squared, torchlight chamber. The greeting committee rushed towards her here too; a trio of Swordmanoids. They moved differently from the ones above ground however. They ram apart and attempted to diverge upon her from three front based positions. She had to laugh. Her sword was still right behind her and as they approached she tightened her grip.
“FOOLS!” She hollered, and swung her sword around to greet them.
The first one was caught by surprise unlike its more attentive partners. The others jumped back from her and raised their shields to defend, swinging their own swords in small arcs while waiting for the right moment. She gave a small smile before raising her sword up and bashing it against their shields again and again. Her attacks were next to useless and she was not getting anywhere. She took a pause and grunted as one of them stabbed her. Her life was starting to get low, seeing as she hadn’t spent the time to recover from anything at all yet. She leapt back after this attack and held her sword out like a shield. Behind it, she stood, waiting for her gauge to go back to full. Waiting, waiting, waiting. A couple of clanging noises sounded off right by her head. It sort of signaled that she needed to put more distance between herself and the monsters. She uprooted her sword and smashed one of them in the face. The stricken Swordmanoid flipped and fell backward upon the ground. She then rammed her sword through an opening and shoved another out of the way. Her blade got stuck a little so she ripped it upwards, through the shoulder of the creature. It howled and fell back, and she charged towards it and slapped it across the face with the broad side of her sword. With two monsters behind her and one downed in front of her, she ran off to the other end of the room and plunged her sword into the ground and ducked behind it. She held both hands to her chest as she activated her next skill. It was almost like performing CPR or the Heimlich on herself.
“Repth!” She hissed at herself.
The Sensation of something cold, and a shiver went through her and she felt almost revitalized. She stood up with renewed strength and turned to face the charging force of the Swordmanoids.
Giggles - October 12, 2008 05:28 PM (GMT)
An inspiring idea came to her mind just then. She smiled quickly and then paused in motion.
++++++
Without looking, Judy fumbled about the table until she found the remote control for her stereo. She slipped her fingers across the buttons until she found the one she wanted.
"Play." She mumbled.
Her stereo was brought to life and the sound of music blasted away almost instantly.
++++++
The sound of blaring music in her ears now, Giggles was ready to party with the fighters. She opened her mouth in a wicked smile and charged them, her sword dragging beside her.
"What's up people?!" She screamed.
And the appropriate song blared away behind her. She charged carelessly among the group of swordmanoids, her sword piercing their bodies in a flash without them even scratching her. She smiled and pivoted, swinging her sword in an empty arc. She charged at them again, her sword clanging off of their shields and smashing things like an errant pinball.
She wasn't even breaking out a sweat now. Her sword would bounce off a shield and she would maneouver it to repel another incoming sword. Her Coup 'detat upon one of them was to swing her sword and chop through its head. Now she was left with two over three. But that didn't matter much, she could still enjoy her playtime with them.
"C'mon, you know you want it." She said, patting her blade.
When the first came, she smashed her sword against its shield. It recoiled and then lunged for her, making a defended thrust to pierce her own guard. It missed. Now was her turn. She smashed her sword downwards upon it, and then quickly made a second blow against it, from the left. The creature was knocked away with force, sent to collide with its partner.
You want to play? she thought to herself.
then we'll play all right. To be sure she could attempt something, she checked her SP bar.

3/10 SPDamn. Not enough yet. Well, there's always the option of playing cat and mouse...(OOC: Hm. SP Bar is a little trickier than I imagined.)
Hassen Wasser - October 21, 2008 04:48 PM (GMT)
Comquaerere was dropped off into the city of Mac Anu. From the private email she had been sent, there were seven words. She turned around and faced the chaos gate.
"Delta Soft Eternal Nothingness. Meet me there.” she whispered to herself.
Unwittingly, she opened up the menu to access the fields. Aha...This is where the worlds meet. She smiled and drew her sword from its place at her side.
She thrust her sword forwards and brought it up before her in offensive stance.
"Delta soft eternal nothingness." She whispered, activating the transfer into a new realm. "Hai."
((OOC: I'm going to take my time and catch up to you later.))
Giggles - October 21, 2008 10:50 PM (GMT)
A quick message appeared upon her screen. This message was quickly answered by another, and then another.

From atop the large sword that pierced the earth, Commy could see so much more. The haze below was a cloud of dust and desert. Up here she couldn't see the monsters below, but she could find her bearing. She was supposed to fight her way across the field and into the dungeon. A large craggy stone finger and some other giant swords poked out of the haze. The finger, she supposed, was probably the segment of some greater fortress to penetrate. From that she would explore it like D2, running around inside until she either died or found the next floor or boss. The haze below her swirled lightly as something rose from it. Before the image was possible to see a tag appeared. 'Deadly Moth'. She drew her sword from its place and held it before her. She flipped through her Spell Bar and selected an attack.
"Gan Zot!" She yelled, hoping that something would come of activating it.
She waited and waited but the Moth arose unhindered. Something was wrong with her attack. Something had to be checked. She flipped to her next spell. She hoped that this one would at least work.
"Juk Rom?" She said to herself.
The winds around her began to pick up and the haze tore open. A twisting, howling torrent of branches was flying about and had entrapped the Deadly Moth. A gauge on her display had emptied to zero. She opened her Spell Bar again and looked over her crafts. Idiot. The spells have a cost. Why would I be given a spell as Gan Zot if I weren't to be able to use it? It costs so much more that I have too. She shook her head back and forth in dismay. She'd need to wait for her SP to go back up in order to cast another attack. It was a decision between that, jumping, or waiting for it to get back up.
As she sat and waited she watched as her SP bar slowly egded its way back up to two points. She waited whilst the insect fluttered in a gentle and confused daze up towards her. She counted away the points gained against the time taken by it to reach even higher heights. By eight points she had just given up on waiting and dived down after it.
Falling, falling, falling. The sensation was quick but it felt like forever. She landed heavily upon the Deadly Moth's head, something uncomfortable to break her fall. Standing up on its head, the insect wriggled wrong and sent her just off balance. She let out and stabbed into it with her sword to stabilize herself. Ten. She launched herself upwards from the descending insect and clicked her skill trigger in time.
"Cross Slash!" She yelled, only so she could hear herself over the rush of wind.
She brought her sword up and down in two light strokes, waves of force eminating from her sword and crashing into the Deadly Moth. They were getting closer to the ground now though, and that would mean a world of hurt for the both of them. Or just the one if I'm lucky enough to use it as a pillow... She gave a weak smile behind her mask and tried to steady herself in the air to land on her feet. The pants billowed in the wind. As she bent low with her sword over her head, she realized just how loud it really was. The landing was coming up soon. The insect had steadied itself and was hovering not far now, but she was still plummeting down towards it. Steady, steady. Now!
She hit the moth with a fierce impact and sent it into the ground with a heavy roar and puff of sands. Her sword and feet digging into it. She leapt off as soon as the moth touched ground and backflipped over it. She was quick to summon the death strike, lashing it three times across the face. The body turned gray and melted into the sands.
Giggles - November 2, 2008 10:43 PM (GMT)
The swordmanoids' blades grazed her the skin on her neck. She took a deep breath in and then let it out. She waited like this for a long time it felt, just waiting for them to make their move. Her fingers twitched. She let go of her sword and held her hands out. The little bar was reading nine now. Another shift from her captors told her enough. She jerked backwards suddenly, the blades scissoring where her neck had been. Too close a call for comfort.
"Taake..." She breathed in.
she lost her balance a little and propped herself up with her hands firmly on the ground. Her foot came about swiftly and tossed the two monsters together. She was up in a flash, grasping and raising her sword above her head, in time to get the last little bit of SP back to cast Juk Rom.
"Thiis!" She finished, bringing her sword down upon the two of them.
The two were bashed together and away again as she struck. Her skill triggering was quick afterward, activating her killing blow suddenly and hearing the earth quake.
"JUK ROM!" She hollered.
A blender of branches and roots, mostly roots really, tore free of the earth and spun madly about the two poor creatures. Crashing and tossing about within, she smiled as the result emptied from this incident were a pair of devastated corpses. The SP Bar was emptied again, but it didn't matter. Everything in the room was dead.
"He-he," She giggled. "Don't mess with the Blue heavy-blade."
She kicked some loose dust over them and walked out of the room. Her newbie friend would need some help no doubt. Those plants would be a nightmare if she didn't know what was what. And not for the first time, she wondered again what her friend's class was.

0/10 SP++++++
Judy removed her stuff and took a short break. Everything in the field would be okay, Giggles was in an empty room. She was thirsty and eager to grab a bite. She sat up in her chair and stretched her legs. Slouching made her joints ache but she could stil survive long enough to get to the fridge and back. It was just a couple minutes of agony anyways...
...Back from the fridge, she had brought herself three things. A 'Blue Sky' gingerale and a couple 'Oh Henry' bars. A quick snack while playing wouldn't hurt. She arranged everything before her and set herself back up in the game.

Hassen Wasser - December 1, 2008 05:57 PM (GMT)
She swong her sword around and sheathed it. First fight down and she had totally forgotten what she was about to do. She turned about in circles, trying to remember her placement to where she had planned to go. She shook her head and figured she'd do it the old fashioned way, run around aimlessly until she found something of importance.
She looked to her left and began to run. It didn't matter where too, it was just important to run.

Perfect, She groaned and closed the tab. Because I just haven't had the time to do anything yet. She kicked a little pebble and opened up a panel to write with.

Before jumping off though, she wanted to play a little game within the game. She set off in the field looking for one more fight.
Giggles - December 29, 2008 10:50 PM (GMT)
Approaching a single running figure in the field, Giggles stiffled a little cry of enjoyment as she approached. She planned on enjoying this attack, especially since the figure appeared lost in the field.
"...And...." She whispered to herself as she got closer.
The character was human, maybe a girl. Sneaking up behind her, she waited for the perfect moment to strike. If this was Lu, she was in for a quick scare.
Raising her hands up in the air she forze as a message popped up upon her darkening screen.

"Damn!" She cursed. She pulled herself away from the game and stood up. She made and unmade her fists before sighing. "Well that sucks."

You shouldn't be capitalizing the "she" (or any other word...) right after your dialogue unless it's supposed to be a new sentence. You've got a lot of room for improvement in there, and actually you were doing better at the beginning of this quest than the end (I'm guessing it was just frustration at the other guy leaving?) Mostly you just need to work on your capitalization, and put a little more into the next quest - you were pretty close to a level here.
