After much discussion, the staff has come to the conclusion that it is time for the Duel Reward idea to come to fruition. We have put together a system for players to be payed back for the effort of their valiantly fought battles. You will be rewarded based on these criteria:

*The winner of the duel will receive rewards.
*They will receive them if they have met the following conditions: At least three posts were made from each participant AND the winning score was at least a five
*Rewards are in the form of expendable items: Healing Items, Scrolls, Field Items, Bloods, Banes, or [in some cases] Tarot Scrolls
*These rewards are based primarily on score, and on length second.

What would happen in the case of a default win (well, I know if there was one post, there really wouldn't be rewards), but yeah, the question just arose in my head for a second. xD

You mean like about eight posts in, the other person vanished for more than the allotted time? That is a good one. By the RAW (Rules As Written), I'd expect that'd garner a couple pieces of loot, assuming all conditions are met. Though, less than, what, five? *Looks up* Three posts, sorry, less than three posts in the same situation wouldn't. 'Least, that's how I'm reading it. And I've been known to be rather crazy at times, so odds are I'm probably horribly wrong, eh wot?

My question is: Are they going to be scaled based on final grade? I.E., 8 would get more than a 5.2?

Default win would still get rewards.

Sounds about right.

That's how I'll be doing it, at any rate. It won't be a huge, drastic difference, but it'll be noticable.
