Mizu strode into the Pawn Shop quietly, not particularly loud-spoken. He preferred to get his business done as quickly as possible with as little excitement as well. That was why he laid his list on the counter, so that any Pawners could help him.

Then he sat down to wait.

Nizam, his bright and beaming self, looking it all over with bouncing eyes. "If you wait a week, it'll come to 7,500 GP. If you don't wait a week, it'll come to about 9,000 GP. Which deal would you like?"

"Is there any way I can knock that down to 6700 or less? Like with my Member's Address or something?"

Mizu thought for a moment, considering his small inventory. Then he set a Mage's Soul on the counter. "Will that help at all?"

Nizam shook his head. "With your Member Address and the Mage's Soul, you'd still need....oh, 7,100 GP. If you waited a week. Anything else to trade in?"

"I've got four Health Drinks, and that's it."

Things were going downhill as Mizu placed the last of his items on the table. There had to be something he could do. He was only 400 GP short from the last price...

Xantos blazed into the pawn shop, robes covered in blood (and the back was ever so slightly on fire). "Gotyourflashmailhere'sthemoneygottagosomethinwentwrongbye" As he dashed back out the door, a small leather pouch landed on the counter, a few coins sliding on to the table. To those that might bother to count it, they would find 800 GP inside.

That had certainly been odd, yet fortuitous. "Um... okay then. I'd like to take the Mage's Soul and Health Drinks off the table, and pay the 7500 GP for the one-week wait."

Nizam nodded. "Then a week it is. Come back then."

Mizu ran in to pick up a large bundle of equipment waiting for him before turning to leave, satisfied.
