Title: The Rooftops
Description: AM IC Play Area

Teishu - July 29, 2008 03:52 AM (GMT)
((OOC: They're the rooftops. Be creative, or so help me. @_@; ))

Teishu bounded across a rooftop. "Boing," he said with a laugh as he launched himself over the edge and to another. It was a rush as gravity brought him quickly back down to the ground. His fingers wrapped around the edge of the building. With a grunt, he pulled himself up. He stood up straight and stretched, the eternal sunset making the sheet of white hair on his hand gleam a bit. He laughed and turned, wondering if anybody else hung out on the rooftops.

Bane - July 29, 2008 04:15 AM (GMT)
"Ugh...Junk..."

Bane was fishing in the Mac Anu River while sitting on the edge of one of the buildings. The ceramic tiles around him were slightly cracked and covered in moss, as was the pleasures of an out-of-the-way fishing spot.

Teishu - July 29, 2008 04:19 AM (GMT)
"I found youuu!" the boy said, sounding out the last word. He was feeling quite perky that day...really perky. With a few slips of the analog sticks and a few mashes of buttons, he had bounded across the buildings and came up to a character that looked like he was finishing up with something. The boy laughed and slid to a halt at the rivaling building.

With a simple jump, he landed lightly on the building below him. He dusted off his legs and walked over to the guy. He froze at the sight of his level, but went on as if it was nothing. He could handle someone who was...twelve or so levels higher than him. He walked casually, overlooking the sunset with a twinkle in his eye. "Beautiful, ain't it? CCCorp. must of really put a lot of work into that..." He looked over to the man he read as Bane. "I'm Teishu. Sorry if I kind of...appeared on you." He laughed, a bit of a nervous laugh, but a laugh nonetheless.

Light was sitting on a nearby rooftop, not too far away from where Teishu and Bane were conversing. But he wasn't really paying too much attention to them.

It seemed that the young Wavemaster's appearance had been altered from what it was before. A blue cat collar with a small golden bell hanging on it was adorning his pale neck, matching the rest of his attire. If one looked with a very careful eye, then they might see the fluffy brown cat tail peeking out from beneath his cloak. Two brown cat ears were hidden well beneath his hat, kept from plain sight.

Something seemed to be bothering him. His face was downcast, his dark hair hiding his eyes from view. The boy was muttering something that sounded like a depressing song, but no one would be able to discern unless they got close to him.

Centrus - November 6, 2008 12:17 AM (GMT)
Cent's heart was heavy. It seemed like everything he had planned lately had worked out for the worse. He needed to get out of this place, and fast. His mind needed some down-time, and he could only think of one place to do that. Ducking behind a corner, the man activated the transportation program he had coded for the AM members. It whisked him off to their Rooftop home, where he hoped he could finally let go of everything.

When he arrived, he noticed that someone else was indeed inhabiting their clan area as well. A small cat's tail peeked out behind the boy that Cent had once quested with, an addition that made the Fist Fighter smile. Walking up next to him, Cent patted the boy on the back. "How's it goin' Little Bro?"

Light stopped singing and immediately straightened up with a jolt as someone behind him began patting his shoulder. Even through his depressed state, he recognized the voice that addressed him. Of course, the Little Bro at the end also made it somewhat easy to discern who it was.

The boy pushed his hair behind his ears and looked up at Centrus, his eyes brightening as a small smile slipped into his expression. "Cent... It's been a long time since I saw you last.", he exclaimed, standing up and hugging the taller Fist Fighter. "Eh... Things could be going much better, Niichan..."

[OOC: I'm writing simply because I really miss playing here...]

Three swirling golden rings materialized the form of a young Wavemaster in front of the Chaos Gate. As the funtion completed, Light slowly opened his dark eyes to find himself standing in the city of Mac Anu. The calming sounds of the water way that ran through the center of the Root Town reached his ears and seemed to call out to him, summoning him down to the water's shore.

Lately, the Light in the real world had been feeling increasingly depressed. There was no real reason for it... except perhaps that he was all alone. He had enjoyed playing in the World only because he had become part of a loving family, with his big brothers, Centrus and Xantos, and the others, Aiko, Viva, Teishu... But now, he felt as though he had lost them all. There was nothing but isolation awaiting him whenever he had logged on during the last few months. No mail from any of his clan, not even Cent, who had been his first friend here...

The heels on his boots clacked against the stone path while the boy made his way toward the river. Small glistening tears were forming in his eyes. He lowered his head to hide them, his brown bangs concealing his sadness. Unfortunately, it robbed him of his sight somewhat. A passing player knocked the young Neko to the ground as he shoved past him, growling before leaving. Light was left laying on his side, his body limp.

His hat had stayed in place during the fall and impact so his ears were still not visible to those walking around the town. The blue cloak had also kept his tail covered. But even if his illegal features had become bared, Light wouldn't have cared. He simply layed in place with a terrible sadness crushing his chest and stealing his will to even move again. Suddenly, he realized that everyone would have been angry with him for giving up so easily. It was all he could do to find the motivation to stand up and dust himself off as though nothing had happened.

Light rubbed his eyes gently with the back of his hand before walking slowly over to the water's shore and sitting down beside it. He looked down at the reflective surface. His own horrid image gazed back at him, as if mocking him for having let himself deteriorate to this state. But somewhere deep in his heart, the boy was fighting to remain strong. There was always the chance that his clan would return and be with him again... they just had to, especially Cent. Such thoughts were all that he had to cling to now.

"Big brother... where are you?", he said softly.
