Having noticed a hole in his skill list, Zan approached the pawn shop with the items in mind.

"I need a Sharktooth and a Karin, please. I'm willing to wait the week to lower the cost of ordering."

The person he flagged down was one in-a-hurry Saphyre, halfway through pulling her hair up. She stared at him for a second, then spoke with her hairband still between her teeth.

Just these? You have anything to trade? You're looking at about 17500, otherwise.

Zan considered it - and considered the price - and shook his head. "That'll do, but I'm not paying more than an even 17,000 GP. I'm aware of their worth and how much you're trying to make off of me. The even seventeen grand is still making this place more than enough dough."

She nodded.

She held out her hand for the money and skittered off after collecting it.
