Well, seeing as there has been a recent shift in the ranking system of the Army of Darkness, and there is call for promotions to fill those spots, I thought I'd take the liberty of getting this thread up to make organizing all of those applications for higher ranks much easier. If I'm out of place in doing so, would one of the higher-ups delete this? Otherwise, let's use this to get all of the promotion applications all nice and neat, shall we?

So, I'll start things off, I suppose. I haven't been up at E-4 all that long... well, okay, it's been five months, but still. I'd like to make the attempt to earn a promotion. While I don't believe that I could make Second Commander (I believe that's reserved for those who have been here longer and have worked harder) I would like to try to earn the position of Recruitment Officer, or, in the case I haven't quite achieved that yet, the chance to at least be promoted to an officer. Why do I deserve this promotion? Well, I've got a few reasons.
First off, though I've only been in Divergence for just over a year, almost eleven months of that time has been spent in the AoD. In other words, I've been here for a majority of my time in Divergence. In that short time, I've managed to improve from a low-leveled, lack-o'-talent newbie to a nicely rounded writer who's come a long way in a short time. Upon joining the EC, I've gotten even better, or so I've heard from a very reliable source. *coughZancough*
Other than that, I have a very creative mind, inventing ideas at the drop of a hat (though just as often throwing them out). I have a very analytical outlook, and am good at judgment, at least as well as a eighteen-year-old (on Monday) kid can do, so I believe that those are good qualities that would support me as well.
Yeah, so... I, Baron, level 20 Twin Blade, rank E-4 in the Army of Darkness, formally request the promotion to Recruiting Officer, or, in the case that I have not earned it, at least an Officer position. Thank you.
(Bleh, nearly killed myself laughing when I read that aloud. XD)
EDIT: Something that completely slipped my mind: a few more good qualities (for Recruitment Officer specficly), and what I can achieve if I earn the rank of Recruiting Officer. I'm friendly and outgoing, so I won't scare away the newbies (believe me, Ko, I was actually intimidated by you at first. XD), but I know that, IC and OOC, I can provide almost any information about Divvy and the AoD that they'd be willing to ask. I hope that, as a Recruitng Officer, I could help our little family grow a bit larger. After all, it's been a while since we got some new recruits (I think Magras was our last), so a few new members wouldn't hurt, would they?
So... yeah. That's everything this time, I think.
If I was supposed to make another topic, whatever. @_@; Anyways, as Locke said, there are multiple spots open. I don't expect to get up to Officer Position any time soon, as I still have a lot of work to do, but right now, I'm just aiming to get up to the NCO rank. I think I'm going to need a lot more practice and the like to get to Officer, so I'm nto going to aim for things that I can't achieve. Anyways... *clears throat for speech*

I've been an E-4 for a little while now, ever since Sasuke approved of it. It was back at the end of November, so that was quite a long time ago. I've improved a lot since then, having my up and down moments in the middle, but having a better time as I went on into June and July for summer. I've tried to volunteer in a few quests with newer players, but still, I haven't done one single quest with the AoD as a clan, so I guess that can hold me back. The only thing I've done that's close is when Locke and I were recruting Jozen...that wasn't a long quest, but still, I've been trying to catch a lot of new players so as to make //Divergence seem like a good place to be.
As you know, Ko, I've been in the AoD for almost a year. You were my recruiter, after all, and the one who helped decide whether or not I got into the AoD. I've been here over a year now and every day I've been writing and the like, trying to keep up with conversations, quests, and everything around me. I was level twelve or so by October, so I think I've spent a fair amount of time with quests and the like even if there were a few points in time when I didn't do many quests with people, but I've checked her every day since then and will every day for a very long time.
My character might be a bit dull and not that amazing to quest with, but still, I think I can lead a few newbies and help them out. I'd sure as heck would love to help more of the people who are newer to the AoD, but right now, I haven't gotten many chances to do anything with the clan or anything. I'm hoping that Spectre will get going soon, but yeah, I've been working hard to get a good reputation of things, even if I've had a few troubles and the like at points in time. Yes, I know, I'm not uber fast at posting in return at some points, but at the moment, I'm keeping myself dedicated enough that, as you can see, I've been posting frequently and quicker than most people...but that doesn't really get me anywhere, does it? I have time and if I'm called to it, I'll do most anything for any new or old players.
I'm a young person to be writing, but still, I'm dedicated to this and will be here to the end. If I sticked to one class, I'd probably be around level 19 or so, but I've been downgraded twice because of class changes, so yeah. Shenmock, level 15 Fist Fighter, dedicated E-4 of the AoD, wishes for a promotion. Yay?
I might have more qualities than I said, but right now, I can't think of them. It's up for you to decide, but right now, I'm just heading for being an NCO. I guess that's it for my "big speech of the day" thing, so yeah, hopefully I'll get to the next rank. (:
I've been a part of the AoD for over a year now, part of Divergence for over three, and am the only E-6 that we have. As such, I'm hoping to become the Recruiter. Why do I deserve the rank up? I'm the NCO Liason for Phoenix Ravens, virtually second in command because of Sasuke's duty over in Iraq, and know that I could fill in the spot. My level isn't that bad and is set to rise even more as the first part of Juk is complete. While not exactly important, a Recruiter shouldn't be powerless, and in fact should be, presumably, more powerful than the person that he is trying to recruit (unless it's a duel, in which case the recruitee gets to prove himself >D).
Actually, my main concern isn't levels. That's why I've been going on quite a few quests where I haven't gotten rewards. The single AoD quest that I was on before squads came about was done without any rewards. I'm more set on character interactions, as simply trying to level your character can only take you so far. Making your character interesting, developing relationships with other people, that is what I feel is important inside of Divergence. Takua isn't that...I'm going to say, 'great' to quest with at the moment, although he has more than his fair share of quirks and twisted parts of his personality to make the interaction worth it, at least on his end. Part of that I can't reveal right now, although it's coming along nicely.
Also, as a Wavemaster, one needs to keep an eye on your allies, as being heavy on magical attack and low on defense requires that you know the strengths and weaknesses of your meat shields (just like a Heavy Blade XP).
A few links giving what I regard as my best works. They may not be the most creative things you'll find, but they're still the best solos that I have, and the most solid.
