---------------------------

After a long discussion with Nighthand, we came up with the idea to start a new clan (my last having died out without much purpose behind it). However, we didn't want this clan to simply be just, well, a clan. We wanted it to be a bridge; a bridge between Main and Subs. Though the friction between the two isn't as strong as it once was, we'd like to all but wipe it off the map completely. So thus, we have the clan's first purpose which leads us to...of course...the second.
The Eventide Crescendo will also come to serve as a recruitment device for all of those seeking to join Main at one time or another. In essence, it'll serve as an ongoing test of your abilities and whether or not you're ready to join Main. Don't take that as some arrogant statement, but more along the lines of us testing to see if you can keep the pace demanded of you when you enter Main. As some will tell you, Main isn't as flexible as some of the other questing groups you may have gone on. You're expected to keep a good, fast pace and slacking will only result in you being left behind. So by 'if you're ready', we mean only if you meet the standards we present.
Now, if you're still interested...read on.

I expect a few things from this clan, things that shouldn't necessarily be too difficult to uphold.
-Heart-One of the main things I'd like to see is heart. I want to have members that have a passion for Divergence, that have a drive to truly be a part of this community. Subs is where I started, this is where I want a part of me to always be.
-Talent-No one expects you to be a novelist on an RPG forum. I certainly wouldn't expect perfection. So, thus, I don't expect some prize-winning pieces. What I do expect, however, is some good quality in your posts. For me, good quality represents part of the heart we're looking for. If you have a passion, a real fire for this place, it will reflect in your writing.
-Activity-Activity in the Eventide Crescendo is a
must. As I've said, activity is a big part of being in Main. Being in this clan means you are aware that we expect at least one post in a quest from you a week. Often, we will hold several clan quests that will immerse you in Main's storyline over time. Out of every three of these clan quests, we expect you to be in at least one. When you're not in a clan quest, you can achieve the 'once a week' we're looking for by being in a quest of your own. We don't think this is too harsh and, hopefully, you won't either. However, we won't bother dealing with excuses and people trying to simply be in the clan to, well, be in it. Failure to accomplish the once a week bit will have you dropped from the clan. No hard feelings or any of that will follow on our part, but it is simply something we'll do. Now, will you be able to join back? Sure. Just show us you can keep with the once a week requirement and you'll be good to go, welcomed back with opened arms.
Note, though, that if your computer explodes or you fall ill, I won't just boot you from the clan. I'm not a
complete jerk. No, but really, it won't be an issue. What will be an issue, however, is if you mysteriously fall ill time and time again or your computers just keep popping and exploding.
-Sociability-Nothing ruins a clan more than a lack of communication and connection between its members. So one thing I'll look for is your ability to interact with people on a normal level. Above and beyond that I'll look for people I'd consider family over time. Such a strong bond isn't built over night, but I want you to be able to call the Eventide your second family. I want you to be able to think of this clan and not think of clan members as simply members of Divergence, but as brothers and sisters.

- 1 - Don't do anything that makes you or your fellow clan members look bad. This means respecting administrators and the rules this forum follows.
- 2 - Upon being recruited, it would be appreciated if you made a small donation (either in items or gold) to the Vaults.
- 3 - Put up at least one good quality post in a quest a week.
- 4 - Participate in at least one of every three clan quests put up.
