So it has come to my attention that there is a phenomenon known as XBox Live which has swept through parts of the forum (and world), and sadly I must admit that I have succumb to it. So this begs me to ask:

It's either bungie day today, or they extended the free downloads. You can download the original halo's remake of Chillout (one of my all-time favorites, oh my god is this a good double team map) for free along with a theme. I might buy the new maps today anyway. Just thought I should give you guys the heads up in case this is a one-day thing. I definitely want everyone to have the Chillout remake so we can all play on that :). 2v2v2v2 is so epic on that thing...

So I just watched the whole Microsoft E3 thing on G4's website...It seems we have a great amount of XBOX live stuff coming our way guys...looks like some fun co-op modes in some games =p....not just Halo? XD

Just finished watching the Microsoft presentation... There's four great RPGs coming to the 360. I'm mainly excited about FFXIII. I was afraid I was going to have to buy a PS3, but not anymore! Woo!

We sort of did call. The problem boils down to them claiming that, due to the terms of service, an account will automatically reactivate when it expires. It seems as though the account will reactivate using the same payment plan that it previously had. So Lyra was automatically set to a one-year subscription. We tried to change the payment plan to use a 3-month subscription card, but the system claims it's an invalid payment option and won't take it. Note that we bought two cards together and that mine worked just fine, but my account was inactive. Her card was also properly recognized when the code was put in. So she called to have a support employee force the system to accept her card, but they apparently can't. Instead, the system is locked to a one-year subscription, which cannot be paid off with anything except providing it access to a new credit card. So we're basically forced to provide them a credit card and to continue being billed for the service even though we don't foresee using it as much later.

Yeah... I'm going to be getting Halo 3 in a few weeks. Probably two fridays from now, cus that's the next check. Last night I was at my manager's house and got a Killtostrophy, and he told me he was going to go half on the game. Said it was a waste if I didn't play more.

Like I'm going to argue with free money.

I'm feeling accomplished. I just got every skull, and now I have this really nifty helmet. It did take a good amount of time... about five hours. The nade jumps make me cringe.

All I can say is...HELLLL YESSSSSS!!! I can't believe I didn't see this one coming!!! Everyone here has to get this sequel to the staff's choice "launch title." (It really was the best game that came with the 360's launch). ZOMG I can't wait for that multiplayer. GEeeeeeez.

And while you're at it, get the first one too. Best arcade game ever created. Definitely the best modern one. I'm going to go play that now.

I have one but I can't remember what it is x_x. I tried installing it in wine once, but some of the text in the game was blocked out so I lost interest enough to not warrant the 10 gig addition it cut from my HD. I had CSS, TF2, Audiosurf (thank you sydofh, lol), and geowars.

Just posting because I managed to get my hands on Call of Duty: World at War. I'm always down for some Nazi Zombies...

The one thing I'm considering getting Xbox Live for (if only for a month) is the BioShock 2 Multiplayer when the game comes out in November. Mind you, I really only want to play that because of the prequel storyline info you recieve, but just the same. The temptation is there.

Anyone looking forward to the BioShock 2 multiplayer for the actual multiplayer? I guess I just don't see BS's atmosphere as more than single player oriented, but that's me.
