We need to decide what is going to happen with this clan. The three that attempted to reconstruct this clan have all vanished for some reason or another. Miss Kaz has lost reliable internet, and Miss Chase and Kage have left the site. This clan needs a leader. The Anima Mundi is a family, and I'll be damned if I am going to let it die.
I may not have been an original member of the Figment Raiders, but I read every single thing that the clan did. I fell in love with the closeness that they had, how much everyone cared for one another, and when the opportunity arose for me to lend a hand with the revival of the AM, I jumped on it. I had offered a hand to H4X and Viva-chan as well, and the two of them were two people I looked up to quite a bit. When Chase, Kaz and Kage made their attempt to revive, I was right here with them. I wanted to find the family dynamic I so loved about the Figment Raiders, despite the clan not being the FR anymore. That's what a clan should be! It should be the people you can call family.
And so, in the wake of our family losing yet another member, we find ourselves in need of an active leader. My question to you all is simple.
Who do we pick?

Frankly, based off what you've said, I'd say that there's no better choice than yourself, Centrus. While I haven't been around anywhere as long as you have, based on what I've seen in terms of activity in the clan, you've been right up top. So, that's my choice for our new leader.

Thank you, Locke. I appreciate both your vote and your speedy response. I notified all of the honoraries and recruits, and I am hoping that everyone else will see it. As for my vote, I still need some time to think. It'll come, I promise.

Mmm.. Another one gone, eh? God I wish you people would put up a new thread for leaving, instead of just burying it where nobody's ever going to see it. =/ Attention getting be damned, this kind of thing is important.
Eh. Personally, I'm not really a leader type, but I'll support whoever wants the position. I trust all of you enough that I would be comfortable following your decisions, though, I couldn't bring myself to raise one of you above the others in good conscience. It's a personal thing. I don't want to make it sound like I'm copping out, though I expect in a way I really am, which I suppose I ought to apologize for. Forcing leadership on someone isn't something I like doing, since I know many people dislike it, myself included. I'd prefer someone who wants the position rather than someone elected, though that's just me.
If my vote is absolutely required, I'd have to get back on that, as I'd need time to think it over. For now I suppose mark me as undecided if I have to be marked. I apologize for not responding to this sooner, but Jeri and one of her friends were down for Animazement '08, and they've just left.
Anyway, that's my stance on the matter.

Are there any clannies who aren't part of another clan?
My reason for asking is that such a person would be preferrable to an honorary member or full dual-member in the role of leader.

I think Xantos is the only one here who's not an honorary/has a secondary in the clan. The rest fall under the above categories.

We have had a few votes cast already.
Three honoraries have cast theirs, as well as one recruit. One recruit has yet to get back to me, and H4X contacted me as well. We had our two members post here, and I have yet to cast mine. We have two people withholding.
So yeah, I'm just waiting to hear from one or two more people, and we'll see where this ends up.
EDIT: The idea was put forth that, should we not be able to find a proper leader [read: someone of original clan line] we should dissolve the clan. I am putting this out there so that everyone knows their options. While I would be extremely sad if this is what was decided on, it is only fair to make sure all ideas are known.
I intend to keep my promise to Viva-chan and watch over the clan, but if this is what is decided on, it is what it is. I hope though, for all of our sakes, that it isn't. xP
