Title: War Room
Description: Version 2.0

Sekai - April 7, 2008 02:02 AM (GMT)
Rules of the War Room: If you aren't taking a mission, don't spam this area. The war room is medium sized, an oval table in the middle, one large screen in front of the oval table for viewing and discussing things...if you want to add anything more that pertains to such a setting, be my guest.

Also: Remember that this area is entirely in character.

Talons Tear in the Sky:

Field: Hidden Forbidden Organ Farm and Hidden Forbidden Cat Market
Participants: Phoenix Ravens
Squad Leader: Ko
Enemy Leader: Takua
Time Limit: One post per week please.

Briefing:

A blur of red clothing stormed through the AoD mansion with anger and malice reaking from his pores. Close behind the Heavy Blade followed his Wavemaster second in command, also battle damaged and looking like he wanted a piece of the revenge to be had. Luckily Sasuke wasn't in his office when Ko kicked open the door, stormed over to the desk, and snatched the key to the War Room from. The two squad leaders left in the same hurry straight for the room that was only blocked for a second for the feew numbered Ravens that were able to attend this battle. They parted way as Ko marched forward, unlocked the door, and went straight for the board.

Upon the black board he wrote down to things while everyone took their places in the white walled room, "Aelie" and "Delta: Hidden Forbidden Organ Farm."

"Ravens, during a clan recruitment Takua and I went to investigate a field that was reported to have no monsters. As we progressed through Hidden Forbidden Organ Farm we found that there were indeed no monsters but when we came to the bottom level of the dungeon we discovered a legion of monsters. This horde was lead by one of the Valkyries, our sworn enemies, going by the name Aelie. Aelie has a familiar, just like the rest of her sisters, which is in the form of a corrupted Brown Wyrm called a Stone Dragon. Takua and I were pushed back by the horde of enemies until we were forced to abandon the field altogether. This was not before we discovered that Aelie has a Chaos Gate at the bottom of the level where she transports the monsters to her desire."

He turned back to the board and began writting three parts to his next section.

"First, is to locate and destroy the source of the monsters, second is to defeat Aelie and third, is to destroy the Chaos Gate to make sure they can't use this method over again. Any questions?"

Talal - April 10, 2008 07:19 AM (GMT)
It was her first visit to the Army of Darkness Headquarters. It was a mansion for all intents and purposes. From the outside, there was a large wrap around porch with patio furniture strewn about providing places to sit and relax. The main doors opened into a grand foyer edged with an even grander staircase that wound up along the side wall to the second floor. Tapestries lined the walls while beautifully woven area rugs did the same for the floors. There was a large formal area off to one side, perhaps for large dinner gatherings or special events.

The Twin Blade had received a message that she had been assigned to the Phoenix Ravens Squad of the AoD and they were being given a mission. The message instructed her to meet the acting leader of the squad, Captain Ko-Inuyasha, for a mission briefing in the War Room on the second floor. She had arrived as soon as she could after receiving the message not wanting to be late to her first official meeting of…well, anything AoD related anyway.

She made her way up to the second floor of the large mansion and began searching for the so called War Room. She found what she thought could be the right place as there was another player standing near looking like he was waiting for something. She politely smiled as she passed by and tried the handle on the door, which was locked. Shrugging a little, feeling a little stupid testing a locked door in front of someone who probably already knew it was locked; she walked back over to the railing near the stairs and looked down upon the foyer waiting for this Ko-Inuyasha to arrive.

Not even a minute later, the doors to the mansion burst open and red-clad Heavy Blade entered followed by Takua of all people. The young girl wasn’t sure why seeing the Wavemaster shocked her so much, it just did. They both looked like they had just come back from battle and were both rather pissed off looking. They stormed up the staircase and into an office across the way. Talal stepped back over near the locked door so that she would be ready to enter when the time came. The black haired Heavy Blade and Talal stepped to either side making way as the leader of the Phoenix Ravens approached, unlocked the door and entered the briefing room still followed by Takua.

They all filed in and took seats around a table while Ko went straight up to a black board and began writing things down. She listened carefully as he began the briefing of a field that he and Takua were investigating, what they found and what the squad was now being assigned to do. He was straight to the point and only provided what initial detail he felt necessary but then left the floor open to questions. She had plenty since she was still getting her feet wet in The World and this was her first quest as a member of the AoD, but was starting to realize that sometimes remaining silent and listening closely paid off better in more ways the one, than being incessantly curious. For now, she would remain quiet and follow whatever lead was given.

Bane - April 11, 2008 06:36 AM (GMT)
It was one of the rooms Bane hadn't gone into as of yet. True, there had been no real need to, but his curiosity was piqued all the same. He imagined that instead of a weapon filled room, which luckily for him was the Armoury and something he enjoyed tending too; but rather a conference room of the sort. As luck would have it, today would be the day he would finally set foot in that room to confirm or deny his suspicions.

Unfortunately, after getting the Flash Mail which was sent to him unknown minutes ago, he was running incredibly late; at least he thought so. Apparently, they were all just filing in, or rather being forced inside by fear or otherwise. He paced up to the entrance of the doorway and made his way inside as the last one in. Sure, he wasn't as 'on time' as he would've liked, but he needed to make sure that he was ready to fight for the AoD. Ready to fight regardless of what he was told by others, and take no other commands except those given by his captain.

As he made his way to the back of the room and just caught the end of the Captain's question, he realised he had his own question to ask. While taking down monsters posed no problem to the AoD, and defeating a rogue monster was no real task. It was the destruction of the Chaos Gate that made him wonder.

"Captain, you say we are to destroy a Chaos Gate. While the nature of the task seems simple enough, one would think that as players we cannot destroy Chaos Gates by ourselves. My question is this: Who will be our administrator or moderator ally in this battle?"

Ko_Inuyasha - April 12, 2008 04:54 AM (GMT)
"Good question Bane. While we were in the field I was momentarily able to reach the fake gate for just long enough to get my sword on it. I know it can be targeted and I know I can hit it so I'm positive that it is destructable. If it isn't, I have a back-up plan for its death."

He quickly ran the eraser over the board, barely erasing anything really, and began to move for the door.

"I'm sorry but we don't have any more time. Get ready in the town and then meet me at the Chaos Gate. We'll form party there and move out to Delta: Hidden Forbidden Organ Farm."
