There have been some pretty important changes to the Grunties. Check the main Grunty thread in the Grunty Farm, the one tagged as 'Updated', for details. Questions can be PM'd to the proper Admins or simply posted here.
Second, the Delta thread now has a subforum for 'quickchats' or quick RPs like the one Uruvei and co. have put up recently. Please bring RP like that into the new forum. There's nothing wrong with it, just be putting it in the forum we've created for it. Please and thank you.

[EDIT] Because I didn't make it clear, you don't get the 'special form' until stage five is maxed (15//15).

Anyways, special forms! Does it mean they get locked in the 'special form' once they get to stuffed that far? Or is there such a thing as it being able to switch between 'regular' and 'special', mon ami?
You can switch between the 'combat form' (the armor and the weapon) or the 'special form', the Wooden/Milky/Noble/etc.
