I have been gone from The World for around a year or so now, because of school issues and firewall not allowing it to run on the web server at the dormitory. It has been a very long time since I last logged in here.

...so I need to catch up, I guess... Have there been any upgrades to the game? Patches to fix bugs, major events I should know about? I hate to sound like a neophyte, but...

There were a few events missed, including one hell of a zombie siege on town. If you want any patch information, check here. There's an event sign up going on now, if that is your sort of thing.

Thanks for your help... That new patch must be nice for the whipmaster class. Wavemasters never get anything new...

Tournaments are scary, though... I don't think I would be able to participate. It would scare me too much, and I don't think The World is for fighting other players anyway... But thanks for letting me know.

This is a surprise even to me, that a thread I created some more than a year ago is still on the front page. Perhaps there has been less going on in The World than I expected?

Having travelled to Great Britain and studied there for a year, and now returned home, I have the capability to log into my old friend The World again. I do not suppose anyone would be so kind as to inform me about updates or events about which I should know? I'll be spending a great deal of time in the Root Town, so if there is anything I should know, please find me there.
