Title: Alliance of Clans
Description: AoD<->AD OOC
Ko_Inuyasha - January 15, 2008 04:53 AM (GMT)
((So, now that everything has been accepted by both clans members and leaders we can begin our brotherhood with each other. This thread will be for all members to communicate with each other to discuss joint missions, quests, duels, and several other things. This isn't meant to be a permenant thread used for either clan or to diminish activity in our respected main threads; this is just to make conversation easy between members.))
Welcome brothers in the Advent Dynasty and comrades in the Army of Darkness. For those of you that don't know I'm Captain-select 1st Lt. Ko_Inuyasha. Basically what that means is that I'm third in command of the AoD with Operations Officer Sekai and then Commander Sasuke over me.
The next three under me are 1st Lt. Zan and Sergeants Takua and Raquar.
Now that introductions are handled I'll move on to the details. In the basic sense the AoD will be acting as a "big brother" to the Advent Dynasty. This doesn't mean we're better than you it just means that we're here to help you in anyway we can. We'll take you to feilds to help you level, battle you in the arena to help you learn to fight, and take you on our party quests so that you can learn how to work well in a group.
We're not your boss we're your comrads so lets all try to get along.
The first and most imediate business is for our leaders, and any members that would like to\have permission, to meet in person. I suggest Delta: Bursting Scattered Twin Hills. It's a nice grassy plane field that should provide ample space for any participants.
Zan - January 15, 2008 10:36 AM (GMT)
((OOC:
Is this IC? I'll assume it is, for now.
Should be an interesting alliance.
Note, for those to whom it may apply, I don't give much heed to the ranks. In truth, I only consider Sasuke 'above' me (being the leader of the clan I'm apart of, after all) and everyone else an equal in terms. This applies to those of the Advent Dynasty now as well. Hopefully this little factoid will help you feel more at home with the AoD.
None of which, of course, was a stance against Ko. It's simply something I figure should be said for the sake of the alliance itself.
All in all, welcome to those in the AD.
:OOC))
Satoshi - January 15, 2008 11:41 AM (GMT)
((OOC:
Ello mates. Welcome to the joint brotherhood that will semi-rob you of your insanity. For it to be completely stolen you actually have to be in the AoD but meh, it will suffice to know that I have contributed a little more to your mental demise.
I'm Satoshi, not-very-active Private E-2 in the AoD. If you wish to quest with me, well that's kinda too bad seeing as how I have things lined up for me pretty well, maybe if I like you enough I'll be willing to quest with ya for no rewards.
All in all, welcome and have fun. Oh and that shiver that ran down your spine, don't worry, twas just me.
I don't think I can post here IC if I'm in a quest can I? O.o So for now OOC will suffice. Plus I can do so much more in OOC than I can IC... >D
/OOC))
Uruvei - January 15, 2008 02:02 PM (GMT)
Thank you, Ko.
I'm Uruvei, the "Monarch" of the Advent Dynasty. My second-in-command ("Successor") is Stane. He takes over if anything happens to me.
Since we're a lot smaller (something like a 2:1 ratio), that's all the leadership structure we have, or need. We also seem to have a differant philosophy behind our clans, which is fine. The Army obviously has a martial bearing, with ranks and all that jazz. We of the Dynasty try to go for a "family" feel, as our name might suggest. Both approaches are valid, and I hope we can learn a lot from each other!
I'm glad that the clans have agreed to join in this friendship, and I think that it will work out to the benefit of all involved. :3
Now, to give a slightly more personal introduction... I'm a longarm who likes the color purple and cats (as you'll figure as soon as you see my character design. >3) I've been playing The World for a while, and don't have any intentions of stopping! I'm only level 8 right now, but I hope to be changing that soon. Anyone is welcome to flashmail or message me at any time! I like to talk. x3
Also, this is my favorite emoticon ---> :3
Ko, Delta: Bursting Scattered Twin Hills sounds fine for a meeting place. Stane should be coming with me. Maybe one or two others, if they want to.
((OOC: Thanks to Zan and Sato-kun for their warm welcome, as well. ^^ I'll be looking out for you, Satoshi... >__> Uruvei doesn't have a Mean Mommy mode.))
Locke - January 15, 2008 06:04 PM (GMT)
((OCC: Hey, everyone. Doubt that I need to give much of an introduction, since I was a member (even temporarily) of the Advent Dynasty and am currently a very active member of the AoD. But for those of you who haven't had the chance to meet me, I'm Locke, Twin Blade and treasure hunter extraordinaire.
I personally don't set much in store by ranks, aside from when orders come up. Beyond that, I treat everyone 'bout the same. I don't really see why we can't all be equals, including those in the Advent Dynasty, so I tend to ignore the rank system. That's just me, though.
Questing... ah, the main fun of The World. Currently, I'm a bit behind, with a solo to finish and a training mission for Jozen on the side, but I don't mind questing for no rewards. I tend to do better with others, and I think that principle applies to most people. So, gimme a ring if you're interested.
Beyond that... I wouldn't mind coming along for the meeting, if you'll have me. I love meeting others, and think that it's always good to cement an alliance with a good ol' get-together.))
Ko_Inuyasha - January 15, 2008 07:12 PM (GMT)
By popular demand this will be an OOC board from this post on.
Takua - January 15, 2008 07:26 PM (GMT)
Time for me to start my spamming nature in this as well I suppose.
Name's Takua, the only Wavemaster in the AoD. I've been in it for a few months now and have spammed it so badly. I've been in the Eventide Crescendo for all of Gan, and have improved mainly because of it. I'm a E-5 in the AoD, one of the two middle-ranking E ranks, and in the Raven squad as NCO liaison.
You'll find that I'm almost scarily active at times. I've been in several quests for no rewards, and will be in this field to talk and be there in case anyone wants to have fun. Unfortunately, Juk will be starting shortly for the EC, so I won't have time for any quest with rewards...not that that would stop me. If you want to quest, hit me up, and I'll think about it and probably go.
Magras - January 16, 2008 02:01 AM (GMT)
Gotta get in this thread eventually, ne?
Private Magras of the AoD (Kashi IC) and many of you ADers know me, mostly because I was in the Advent Dynasty up until the start of 2008. I'm almost always up for a quest or duel, so drop a line if you want to quest or whip me athave a duel.
Taro - January 16, 2008 02:29 AM (GMT)
Well isn't this just comfy? Hey everybody, I'm Taro. Not a very prominent name on here, but hopefully I'll change that eventually. Anyway, it's nice to be allied with fighters/writers of youse guys' caliber.
Talal - January 16, 2008 02:50 AM (GMT)
Hey there! I'm Talal, the other Twin Blade of the AoD. I've only been on Divvy for a few months but have stayed pretty active since joining.
I'm always up for a quest, so feel free to ask. ^_^
Stane - January 16, 2008 03:05 AM (GMT)
Stane here. Second in command of the Advent Dynasty as of recently. I hope to meet you all and enjoy your company on any or all future events we might be having together!
On an activity level, I'd say that I'm needed to be extremely active, but I fall tragically short. I'm currently replying to 17 pages in the main AD clan quest (no rewards, didn't finish a quest in time to join for rewards), questing with Jozen in 'Mind Prision' (we pulled at least one all-nighter, though it felt like more), updating my backstory (because if you read that and tried to quest with me, you'd be completely lost. The story of Zane changes so drastically, you'd be "jumping on a moving train"),and working on a creative way to recruit our new members currently in that process. Now, to the people saying, "That's understandable. Don't worry about posting on thread XXXX, it can wait," I am currently enjoying a 12-day exemption from exams, so there really is no excuse not to be knocking some of those things off. My writing muse just...I dunno. For all of the people I haven't apologized to, there ya go :(.

| Also, this is my favorite emoticon ---> :3 |
Mine would have to be ":P" because I use it to tell people not to take what I said seriously, and that I'm just playing around (I can't get away with what I say to people if they think I'm being dead-serious :P). Heh, used it again... Also, I never turn on the 'emoticon pics' in my posts because they just seem so obnoxious and not the intensity that I meant.

*Uruvei grabs Stane by the elbow* "GAH! Where are you taking mah!" ((looking forward to it XP))
Sekai - January 16, 2008 01:53 PM (GMT)
I'm Sekai, Major in militia rank and also the Operations Officer and official Second in Command when it comes to the AoD. I'm currently the only Archer in the clan, and was the first female Archer to exist. I'm also the current Squad Commander for Spectre, which'll be interesting all things considered.
IC-wise, you have to be pretty careless and cruel to really piss off Sekai and get her to resort to raising her voice and pulling rank on you, Kira on the other hand, well, she's a short fuse with a halfway devoured wick ready to explode; she couldn't give two shits about rank and would probably try to put Sasuke to the ground if he pissed her off.
I do love writing and I like questing with people for the story potential and for the character development. Unfortunately, I don't have a really stable means of, y'know, roleplaying right now since my laptop killed itself. Hopefully with tax returns and maybe a small donation from my family, I'll be able to order myself a new one within the next month. I'm going to be in Juk for the next reward based quest but, always willing to pop in and do something with someone.
Since I'm Sasuke's right hand gal at the moment, I'll be joining the introductions to the clans and helping solidify the IC alliance too.
Uruvei, if Satsat gets out of hand, lemme know and I'll have Ani!Mommy go after him. <3
Shenmock - January 16, 2008 02:23 PM (GMT)
Hey everyone. Shenmock here, one of the three Long Arms of the AoD. Happy to make an alliance with the AD and always ready for a quest.
I really don't care much about ranks and all that. I consider most everyone an equal to me, except those who surpass me much farther than any of the others. Anyways, I'm glad to be making this alliance so hopefully we can all get along and have a good time.
Jozen - January 16, 2008 07:50 PM (GMT)
Im Jozen of the AD. I've been in it since the beginning two years ago. Level one Long Arm, hopefully that'll change soon. I'm pretty active, being on at least once a day. This won't be true for this week due to some things going on. You can find me around Stane most of the time partying it up. I'm up for a quest with anyone, of any level. I just ask that it waits until I'm done with the two I'm trying to balance out now. I'll think I'll join ya'll on the field later.

I dunno, it seems like he'd enjoy that too much. x3
So, when are we meeting up IC? It looks like myself, Stane, and Jozen will be representing the Dynasty. Should I start the meeting, or would someone (Ko?) prefer to do so?

Uh-huh, uh-huh...
*puts a check beside one box on his clipboard, and an 'X' beside the other box*
Only 50%, huh...
Oh yeah, to give this almost-spam post some meaning, when we go do the meeting thing, I'll tag along on the AoD side (I owe half of you guys a complete quest, anyways ^^"""").
Ko_Inuyasha - January 17, 2008 03:34 AM (GMT)
It's not really a "quest" FYI, it's just an IC meeting with some conversation. Our levels are pretty diverce and there'll be a few too many people in my opinion to not have a story line to follow.
Uruvei - January 17, 2008 03:36 AM (GMT)
Oh, I just thought of something!
Should I "bring along" one of the major NPC characters that the AD has?
Ko_Inuyasha - January 17, 2008 03:53 AM (GMT)
lol It's your NPC but if you feel that it would play a role in this brotherhood then I see no reason why not to.
Raquar - January 17, 2008 05:02 AM (GMT)
TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS......
Raquar, the soon-to-be-only Long Arm of the AoD.
If you really have questions I'm sure somebody else will more than glady answer them. And don't worry, I really only kill Tak pointlessly.

Lol, when I read that I could only hear it in song.
Raquar the singing Long Arm....
I'll have to decide if the NPC coming along would make sense IC or not. Hm. I'll figure it out when we get there.
So. Still waiting on the 'when'...
Raquar - January 17, 2008 05:56 AM (GMT)
I could be the Singing Long Arm.
With the Song of Long Army DOOM!

Only Long Arm? What about Shenmock?
Takua - January 17, 2008 11:40 PM (GMT)
He's class changing shortly.
Locke - January 17, 2008 11:45 PM (GMT)
What about Satoshi, then?
Takua - January 17, 2008 11:52 PM (GMT)
He doesn't count? XP
Just kidding, really, I don't know. He's not able to switch yet, maybe he won't ever, so it'll be interesting. Either way, Raq isn't the only Long Arm and won't become that just yet.
Satoshi - January 17, 2008 11:58 PM (GMT)
I ain't switching. At least not unless they open up a Flick Reaper type class. *shrugs*
I might just go Whipmaster just to say I did. XDDDDD
But in all seriousness, 95% chance I'm not changing classes.
And Uruvei, you're right, I would enjoy Ani!Mommy too much. >D
">D" is my favorite smiley. :P
^^
I prolly won't be joining you on the little 'meeting', I've not even had a recruitment quest done yet. (Don't worry Ko, we'll get to it soon. Promise.) And I have a ton of other stuff I need to get done. >_<
As Shuu's avatar on SR once said: "Overwork, Overstress and an early death, HERE I COME!"
Ko_Inuyasha - January 18, 2008 07:01 AM (GMT)
Invitation to Alliance will be the thread for out IC meeting.
Uruvei - January 19, 2008 04:23 AM (GMT)
Excellent.
*goes to post*
I also want to make it known that I probably will be a bit less active after this Wednesday. I'm on my school's FIRST robotics team, and we're smack dab in the middle of 'build season' - six crazy weeks of trying to create a functional robot before it has to be shipped off to competition. The first semester of senior year just ended for me, as well, and I did decent: two A's and two B's, and that's in three AP classes and an Honors course. However, it could have very well been three A's, maybe even four. The reason I got a B in English, usually my best subject, is that last week there was an essay due that I simply didn't turn in at all. Part of it can be attributed to exhaustion from FIRST. But the simple truth is that part of the time I should have been spending writing the essay, I wasted chatting on AIM and browsing the internet. That's just wrong. It needs to change; if I'm going to be serious about going to the college I want to, I need to focus more on my academic studies. So, I moved my computer out of my room, and I'm going to impose upon myself a strict limit of two hours per day of using the 'net for fun. Don't worry - I use most of that time for DIVERGENCE anyway. And if I have any free time, I'll let myself use it for posting or whatever. But there may be some days when I simply can't get on at all. In the case of something that needs to be handled right away, and I can't be contacted in time, Stane is cleared to make executive decisions. I trust his judgment, and I know he has the interest of the Advent Dynasty at heart.
Anyway, that's just my little sob story. ^^;; I'll still be around quite a bit, so no worries!
Ko_Inuyasha - January 19, 2008 04:57 AM (GMT)
It's not a sob story it's your life. You should be more proud of it.
Stane - January 19, 2008 06:27 AM (GMT)
There's no way I'd have the willpower to move my computers out of my room. And two hours a day, unthinkable. You have my support :).
Takua - January 19, 2008 06:28 AM (GMT)
So...who wants to post next? I'll do it if you want me to, but I'm also not high up on the leadership list, and Sekai can be next if she wants to. Or Stane can. Any suggestions?
Sekai - January 19, 2008 07:02 PM (GMT)
I'm gonna read and post, likely within the next hour and a half/two hours.
Y'all are lucky, Sekai's solo is done when this meeting takes place. XD There'd be issues otherwise when it comes to meeting people... not that there aren't usually but, XP.
Son of the EDIT: There we go, it's posted up. XD Sekai has serious bed-head and Kira's already being Kira.
Takua - January 19, 2008 09:01 PM (GMT)
Oh how cute, she's got bed hair. I'll just have to make Tak remark on that, because there's no way that he wouldn't.
So, you want to go next Stane? Given that you're second in command, you might want to. I'll take it after that if nobody else especially wants to.
Locke - January 20, 2008 01:26 AM (GMT)
I'll go after Takua, or Jozen if he wants to go first, I suppose. This treasure hunter isn't going to be missing the meeting! ^_^
Stane - January 20, 2008 01:45 AM (GMT)
I'm writing as I type this, so it shouldn't be much longer. :) Thanks for waiting on me.
Jozen - January 20, 2008 02:32 AM (GMT)
Okay Im not postin in the meeting. Im not going to be on for a lil while longer. As for Mind Prison with Stane and the quest with Shen and Locke, im sorry i'll finish it later if you would like to. Due to one grandmother dying, one just put on a breathing tube, and an uncle that past away all within a week im a lil messed up. So to my second family of the AD and my new found friends in the AoD I hope to be back soon and hang out later.
~Jozen of the Advent Dynasty
Takua - January 20, 2008 02:42 AM (GMT)
O.O
Holy shit. Sorry dude, take care, and take as much time away as you need before you're settled again.
Locke - January 20, 2008 02:45 AM (GMT)
Well, Tak definitely took the words out of my mouth. I don't care about our quest at the moment- family issues are infintely more important than an online RPG. I hope everything goes well with you, Jozen. I can only empathize somewhat, since I've had similar issues, though not so widespread. I feel for you, man.
Stane - January 20, 2008 03:07 AM (GMT)
Don't worry about Mind Prison in the least. I still have the mini solo to finish that explains X, Y, and Z. Take as much time as you need and know that I"m here if you want to vent. My grandfather died last year and I have some advice if you need it. I recommend ice cream.
