So, looks like we got a new hang out. AND IT GOT A SIGN!!!

lugiablaster - August 7, 2007 05:37 AM (GMT)
But... what if someone's 13' 38 feet tall?

Centrus - August 7, 2007 09:38 AM (GMT)
They can squat down.

Safe to say this is our new spam discussion thread? xD

If only we knew. I'm guessing we would have to take off their shoes, and cut their hair. That would require too much effort though. lol.

*walks over to Centrus and picks a seat*

lugiablaster - August 7, 2007 05:54 PM (GMT)
Yep, general discussion! Yay!

*walks over to a keg*

...

...

Why is the rum always gone?!

What? You think I'd pass up the chance? We're in a Tavern after all =P

Senna - August 7, 2007 07:23 PM (GMT)
I don't suppose our fearless leader is trying to say something about our social habits with this booze-rich environment, is he...

And Savior, long time! *pounces*

Edited: for spelling and such

DeltaBeta - August 7, 2007 10:11 PM (GMT)
A sheer possibility... lol.

lugiablaster - August 8, 2007 06:58 AM (GMT)
What? You think our leader thinks we're crazy drunkards that like to sing weird ballads from songs that no ones ever heard of? The only one who fits that description is Aeneas... and he's probably the smartest guy here <.<

Centrus - August 8, 2007 07:41 AM (GMT)
*laughs at the thought of Aeneas being here*

DeltaBeta - August 9, 2007 03:13 AM (GMT)
*Laughs at any SB being on Divvy*

lol...We have the best "worst" record for perfect attendence.

lugiablaster - August 9, 2007 04:17 AM (GMT)
We're not that bad...

*hears someone actually die from laughter in the background*

Well, people just take random vacations... without saying anything <.<

Centrus - August 9, 2007 08:55 AM (GMT)
*whistles as he points to Atash and Savior while attempting to dodge wayward glances for his 15 month unannounced vaca back in '05*
Throw the blame elsewhere. Pardon?

Senna - August 9, 2007 03:27 PM (GMT)
I announce my vacations. I'm announcing one right now! I'll be gone through Monday. Have fun without me :)

lugiablaster - August 9, 2007 05:13 PM (GMT)
See? Senna's a good little Swordbreaker =3

Me on the other hand... *looks at his unannounced 5 month absence*

Centrus - August 9, 2007 07:41 PM (GMT)
*criticizes in words that are deemed unimportant, blatantly ignoring that his absence was three times longer*
Your mom is three times longer! Oh man, Fizix. Good times.

DeltaBeta - August 9, 2007 09:00 PM (GMT)
I think I top them all with the two year absence.
*Ducks as a wine bottle is thrown at head*

What? Ok.. So I wasn't a Swordbreaker then. lol.

Centrus - August 13, 2007 10:22 AM (GMT)
*notes that Kiwi has a distaste for Archers*
Has any one else noticed that I start every post off with an action statement? I need to stop making three am posts.

DeltaBeta - August 15, 2007 08:47 PM (GMT)
I'd advise Tyleno PM then... Or exhaust yourself by running laps around your house. That always works for me. ^_^

lugiablaster - August 15, 2007 09:30 PM (GMT)
Or he could just invite me over to his house. Oh wait, he can't.

VirageEmbryo - August 15, 2007 10:44 PM (GMT)
Hey guys I'm sorry I disappeared all of a sudden. School got really busy and then I went to Japan from June - August. So what's been going on around here lately?

lugiablaster - August 15, 2007 11:08 PM (GMT)
Nothing that you wouldn't expect from the Swordbreakers. Just people chillin' and vanishing =)

I've been pretty busy lately with work, school starting soon, and people leaving and such. So yep.

Savior X - August 16, 2007 07:19 AM (GMT)
Yea yea, so now that I'm back I'm getting swamped by TCG stuff. >___< I believe this is why I left in the first place.

*swims to shore from all of the PMs & IMs*

Anyone have a towel?

lugiablaster - August 16, 2007 07:27 AM (GMT)
*tosses you his friend's Little Mermaid towel*

Yeah, don't hurt yourself with the paperwork. I think that's what caused me to go on my little vacation. Which was great, by the way. Thank you all for asking XP

Centrus - August 16, 2007 11:51 AM (GMT)
*is waiting to add to Savior's pain and necessity for swim lessons*
Awww, aren't we all so... I dunno, SB-y? Besides, I spent most of those five months in school with you. I was there, and if memory serves, I did ask how it was quite a bit.

That's where Kiwi Automation Services comes into play. Why, our skilled developers can breathe life into otherwise mindless automatons who will then work tirelessly to accomplish your menial labor. We have everything, from button-pressing springs to card packing gearboxes, even industrial and analytical models. Excellent prices, to boot.

Senna - August 27, 2007 07:34 PM (GMT)
And I talk about how good I am at not disappearing and then I disappear. I think I'm back though, barring more unforseen circumstances. I will be doing my best to catch up for the next week or so, until I can *fingers crossed* come back full-time.

Centrus - August 27, 2007 07:56 PM (GMT)
*wonders why Senna is so hard on herself*
Don't worry Senna. We're more concerned that you are okay than we are when you are returning. Just so long as you are still our Senna, you can take your time.

lugiablaster - August 27, 2007 11:41 PM (GMT)
Full-time? You're starting to make Divvy seem like a job =X

Gah, so much junk going on right now involving school and work for me. Yep, the Slice is actually starting to become overwhelmed with school =D You know something's up when that happens XP

Senna - August 28, 2007 01:52 AM (GMT)
They say it's only a job if you mind having to do it. :)

lugiablaster - August 28, 2007 08:21 AM (GMT)
And you get paid...

Senna - August 28, 2007 02:19 PM (GMT)
Oh, I have most certainly held jobs for which I was not paid. They call them internships or volunteer opportunities, but they're really just jobs with no money.

KamiKazeKiwi3 - August 28, 2007 02:24 PM (GMT)
That's what I was thinking too... Though I've been, in my scarce spare time, searching for examples of things that I mind doing that are not jobs.

Senna - September 2, 2007 07:31 PM (GMT)
*props an antidote up on the table for whoever wants it*

Senna - September 2, 2007 08:14 PM (GMT)
Double post because I'm a friggin rebel. :)

How awesome that we have several Swordbreakers in the medals for the zombie event? I'm looking forward to reading those. Much props guys!

lugiablaster - September 3, 2007 08:07 AM (GMT)
*random thumbs up*

Yeah, college started during the second half of hours for me... so... that's my excuse for it being lamer during that part =D

KamiKazeKiwi3 - September 3, 2007 08:43 AM (GMT)
Oh, you have no idea. Lyra and I decided to force ourselves to finish Christmas Wishes before we started the event. Lyra also suggested we encourage lower-level players to participate and write better by taking some into our team, since the factor of intimidation from higher-level players participating is often present. Sometimes, people don't join because they don't think they could win. So we got Takua and Raquar on our side.

I should have known what I was getting myself into.

So Takua and Raquar were eager to start and even got their posts ready. Lyra and I wanted to finish our quest, though, so... we were held back. I'm not that fast lately and Lyra wasn't feeling well, so we took 2 days more than I had hoped. After that, it was a rush to get posts out while dealing with life. I cut back on sleep quite a bit and focused my spare time on writing, because I felt that I owed it to Takua and Raquar. We had issues along the way. The day before the last, I thought we were pretty much dead. Then Lyra noticed that we didn't all have to post for each hour. I honestly believe the rules originally specified that, but it's not there anymore (they were changed a few times). So she asserted her authority on all of us and got us to post on specific hours.

Then... she got sick before starting hour 6 and Raquar had to leave before completing hour 7. I pulled Takua into doing hour 7 at the last moment and Lyra came back from work and wrote hour 6... at 30 WPM. Needless to say, I'm very glad things turned out well.

<_< My only complaint is that I had to rush hour 5. I honestly cared about the event for two reasons... because I didn't want to let the others down, and because I wanted to get my ideas out into words. Otherwise, they'd become useless, and I wouldn't be able to apply them to any other quest or event. I got them out partially, but now people read my post and think the beginning was an acid trip. *sigh* I wrote about another team hiding somewhere else at the beginning of the post, and I was supposed to meet them near the end. It wasn't just a random inclusion. But I didn't explicitly state meeting them, so... yeah.

*raises his trophy*

Topic change! Wow my attention span's gnatish.

"House of Leaves" is one messed-up book. But I think I like it. Anyone else read it?

Duo0017 - September 5, 2007 05:04 AM (GMT)
I have never heard of the book, but if you want morbidly horrifying books, then I suggest American Psycho. But I'll definitely have to check out that book.

Usagi - September 5, 2007 06:29 PM (GMT)
I almost read American Psycho once, but then I got intimidated and didn't.
