Belisaria - March 2, 2007 09:33 AM (GMT)
Belisaria was bored as the sun is hot. Mac Anu had never been so uneventful. After his last quest he hadn't bothered following up with his former party members, all of whom he viewed as worthless maggots. One again the Heavy Axeman began to feel the desire to mingle with other players despite what his good judgement was telling him. He pondered some monster killing but that has begun to grow old, he needed something different for a change so he hit up the BBS until he found a suitable Dueling partner.

"Faust?" Belisaria mumbled to himself as he read the players profile as they exchanged messages across the BBS. "He sounds interesting enough. Maybe he will provide more entertainment than the normal worthless swine." They both agreed upon a meeting place, a key wordless field designed for only one thing; Dueling.

Belisaria made his way to the chaos gate, keeping away from the crowds and taking detours when the population levels of the streets were too crammed for him to be able to sneak his way around he eventually arrived at the central hub of the water capital.

Approaching the rotating portal he entered his destination and was warped off to the field where he believed his opponent to be waiting.

Belisaria was deeply pleased once the circular rings which transported him throughout "The World" unveiled the field he would be combating in. He stood within a large cathedral, reminiscent of the Gothic architecture with a twisted touch. Gargoyles perched amongst the support beams. Large tapestries depicted gruesome scenes of battle and torture, anguished faces filled the room, terror seeping out of the walls. On each wall was a massive stained glass window of which were more scenes of gory battles, and hate filled demons. The atmosphere of the cathedral was one of horror, evil, murder, death, and chaos. Belisaria felt almost at home here. He could easily see himself revisiting this place when he was in desperate need of solitude and relaxation.

The black clad Axeman glanced around a bit, apparently his opponent had not arrived yet. Feeling slightly annoyed at being forced to wait, he found himself a nice place to rest whilst he awaited for his opponent, Faust, to arrive.

Faust smiled in delight as new prey accepted his challenge and was even more delighted when he found it was someone quite similar to him. He had been doing some research into the player when he heard rumors of him being like a monster. Faust was currently making his way to the chaos gate when a girl accidentally bumped into him and then tried to get by him without even apologizing. Faust smiled darkly as he whipped out his new sword and with a flick of his wrist struck the girl down. Being only a noob, she fell white-eyed to the ground as Faust watched in amusement. Her blood then began to ooze through the cobblestone blocks that layered the streets of the Aqua Capital. He then brought the blade to his lips and licked the blood from his new weapon; which to him was a sort of ritual he did with his new weapons.

Faust then began to speak to himself with a thick German accent, "How did the blood taste, good didn't it? I know what you mean and I also thirst for more. However, this girl has little flavor to her as do all the green ones. But we know of one whose blood might be even more delicious than our own and a meal like that we could die for, heh heh!" Faust then raised his head up and spoke loud enough for the small group of males that were gathering around him and the girl’s body again with his accent, "Step back unless you want to join her and I won't kill you just once, I'll be wherever you respawn again, and again, and again." The crowd thought about what he said and quickly dispersed because they didn't want to constantly be killed over an over again since they were also just noobs.

Faust then went to the chaos gate and accessed the unlisted field that Belisaria wanted to meet him at. Within moments Faust was engulfed by the same purplish rings that denied him light and once again for a short time he found himself in the emptiness of the void. All he could see was himself and a vast void of nothingness that seemed to stare right back at Faust when he looked into it. Faust watched as the darkness began to manifest into a multitude of spectral arms that seemed to reach for him and in seconds he was consumed by them. Faust closed his eyes and then when he opened them he found himself within a barricaded gothic cathedral. The gargoyles seemed to peer down at Faust in sadistic joy with their sharp toothed grins. Faust then looked to the decor and was amazed by the hideous grotesque stained glass pictures depicting vicious scenes of ghoulish torture. Faust felt like he was at home and then he noticed Belisaria by the red sparkle in his eyes, much like that of rubies. Faust laughed as he then spoke once more with his thick German accent, "Have you been waiting long Belisaria?"

Belisaria - March 4, 2007 10:59 AM (GMT)
"Not long at all." Replied the Axeman to his newly arrived opponent, Faust. Belisaria was pleased that he did not have to wait long for his opponent, he had not felt real battle in quite some time and his patience was wearing thin. In the few moments he had before his opponents arrival he had had a chance to survey the field a little. He had discovered a few "quirks" in the short time he was there and was sure there were more. A bit of knowledge of your surrounds is always a good advantage to have and the Axeman was glad to have arrived first.

Belisaria had yet to turn to face his opponent, he was staring up at the various stained glass windows. Their gruesome depictions were beginning to spur his combat blood lust, a feeling he had been longing for. He just hoped that Faust would not disappoint him. The axeman closed his eyes as he inhaled deeply, taking in the aroma of the cathedral as well as letting his mind relax and his rational consciousness fade away allowing his erratic and maniacal self to take over.

The Blademaster took a few steps forward, "I like your taste in fields and if your taste is good, then I'm going to enjoy slurping you through one of these black goblets you got here!" Belisaria's eyes snapped open, filled with fire and pure murderous intent. "So, you ready?!"

The axeman spun quickly lunging himself through the air towards his opponent, the weight of his axe increasing his momentum thus adding more punch to his attack. He grinned wildly as he swung his axe through the air, aiming directly for Faust's smiling face.

Faust smile still remained as he took evasive action to avoid such a punishing blow from his new opponent. He strafed to the right, barely dodgeing the blow of the axe, and with a hasty withdrawl of his sheathed blade he counter attacked. He brought his blade up across with a flick of his wrist upon Belisaria as he went by with his avoided attack.

The movements were so fast though that Faust was unsure as to whether he actually hit Belisaria or not. However, he didn't really seem to mind as he cast Rai Rom at the back of his foe. Faust wasn't the type to play fair or the type to show mercy to anyone. That was most likely why he and Belisaria had so much in common. Faust's grin widened as he looked to Belisaria in sadistic delight and in anticipation of his opponent's next move.

Unsurprisingly, his opponent easily dodged the axemans attack. His opponent was faster than Belisaria, but he was more well armored. The Blademaster quickly slashed across Belisarias back dealing a minor bit of damage, but the bloodlust was already beginning to build and he didn't even feel the attack. Belisaria was beginning to turn when he heard Faust speak.

"Rai Rom." Not stopping to think, Belisaria hit the floor as an explosion of electric energy twirled in a vortex around him. Rolling away from his opponents spell Belisaria sprung to his feet and leaped towards Faust once more, but this time he was coming in from his side. With a violent downward swing, the Axeman brought his massive axe down towards his opponents head. Responding to Fausts own rapid attack style, the Axeman followed up with his own magical attack.

"Ani Tornado!" A serge of dark energy pulsed throughout his body making its way into the blade of his axe. Belisaria began to spin, his body circling in a deadly vortex of darkness infused blades directed towards his enemy.

Archangel - March 14, 2007 08:03 AM (GMT)
Faust smiled in pure masochistic delight at the swirling darkness before him coming towards him like a cyclone of black death. Faust began to laugh maniacally as the bladed storm whirled closer and closer and Faust yelled above the raging dark wind and said in his deep German accent, "This is the best you can muster, you'll have to do far far better than this if you wish to best me!!!"

Faust then countered with his own attack by casting, "Rai Rom" once more and sent it hurtling towards Belisaria, but at the same moment it was cast, Faust threw in both his Ensui and his Fugaku, and created his own swirling mass. However, this one was of the opposite element and had twice as many blades. Faust then jumped to the left and cast Gan Zot upon Belisaria so his tornado would be negated and Faust's lightning tornado would connect in full force with Belisaria's fragile body.

Faust could taste Belisaria's sweet blood in his mouth and began to water as Faust watched the rubble in the cathedral lift up and begin to converge upon Belisaria at a speed and time that not even the best player in the world would be able to avoid. Faust thought to himself as he watched the pieces come into place, Belisaria you will be hit no matter what because if you dodge my earth spell then your attack will end and even if you managed to dodge it anyway, you'd still be incinerated and skewered by my lightning tornado and its blades. It will be a critical hit to which a savage animal like you would never be able to avoid.
