Field Name: Shapless Hot-Blooded Dead Lands
Field Description: "A barren wasteland with boulders all over the place. One pond lies in the middle of the field. This, however, is no ordinary pond. The water inside is boiling. It turns out that this pond is actually a giant geyser that will go off every few posts. Every 3 sound good? The water that explodes from the geyser drops all over the field. After it 'explodes' the water magically appears back in the pond and readies for its next liftoff."
Special Rules: Hacorie -> Level 18 (not sure how that affects equipment and the like, but yeah).
First Post: Hacorie
Have fun.
Hacorie - February 22, 2007 04:17 AM (GMT)
The time had come to resort back to the ways of the past. The past represents a time where nothing was wrong. The game had just been a way to escape the problems of reality. A place where human interaction was minimized to how people actually wanted to see themselves. This is a fake personality, which is hidden in the back of the mind because of the majorities’ opinions of right and wrong. This ever present, suppressed, personality finally can be culminated in the game, “The World”. “The World” is a game, which lets people escape their true-life problems to a place where they decide their fate, a paradise.
Fatal Exception read the door to a house built into a mountain. Underneath the door were the names of a leader and his current location. Hacorie: Error It seemed that ever since the accident, the system administrators had kept the whereabouts of “the few” hidden from the reality of everyone, including the ones they were over. A hand cloaked by an opal glove slowly ran down the door facing, tracing the letters out of the leaders name. Then, the palm flattened as another banged against the door. A grunt of anger could be heard from the connecting character.
The door suddenly flung open as the player stepped into the building. An icy chill enveloped the house from his presence. Inside there were dusty pictures of unknown heroes, along with those famous faces within “The World”: Balmung of the Azure Sky and Orca of the Azure Sea. These two were legends since they beat the odds and won the “One Sin” event which seemed like an eternity ago. Since then, their character appearances and looks have been copied by fan boys/girls.
“It is finally time.”
These few words were the only to escape the mouth of the character named Hacorie. They echoed throughout the dark hallways. The ever present fire in the lit living room caught his attention quickly. Peeking around the corner, he saw only what was there last time he was in the mansion: only the furniture, no living soul. Just as he was about to settle down and figure out how to revive the clan from the depths of hell, a Flashmail was delivered with the normal distractive ringing. With a small sigh, Hacorie opened it. As his eyes scrolled down the paper, a small smile crept onto his face. A character who earned his way into the clan a long time ago was stepping up and challenging the leader of the clan to a duel. Even though he had been absent from the physical force of dueling for many months now, Hacorie was still in working order. A duel was just what he needed to start everything back up, and it helped a clan member was the opponent. This was the perfect opportunity for Hacorie to decide how everyone had evolved in his absence.
With the wide smile still on his face, Hacorie turned and left the house as quick as he came in. Walking across the boarded walkways, the Heavy Blade noticed the great chaos gate appear in the distance. Step by step, he watched as the gate come closer and closer. Two golden rings simultaneously encircled the blue innards of the gate, each in a different direction. Each time they passed one another, a small sound was made which sounded like a light saber in the ancient Star Wars movies. As he approached the gate, Hacorie whispered the words to the field which was listed in the mail.
“Shapeless Hot-blooded Dead Lands!”
As these words left his red lips, three golden rings appeared from the ground and shot up toward his head. These yellow rings quickly scanned the player, and as soon as they appeared, he started to fade into nothingness. In the end, all that was left was nothing.
A pair of blue eyes slowly opened. Once at their full awakening state, a horrid sight was seen. Lifeless, nothing was going on in this place. In fact, there was actually no wind; this would explain the ‘no movement’ thing going on. “I guess I am the first one here,” Hac said as he slowly looked at his surroundings to make sure he knew everything there was to know about the field. Large spherical rocks were all around, and they stretched out in a pattern. The boulders obviously formed a wall, since each one touched another in some way, and also, the pattern stretched as far as the eye could see.
RUMBLE RUMBLE!!! EXPLODE!!!
“Oh crap!” Hacorie yelled as he looked up to see steam and water droplets blast up into the air. As he followed the string of water, he looked straight down to its core, he saw a giant circular foundation. The only thing that the player knew of in which shoots water out in such a force would be a water faucet......or a geyser. Now the faucet was a great conclusion, but Hac decided to go ahead and decide on the geyser to play it safe in this game of chance. It was an intuition of his.
“Ow!” he unexpectedly yelled as the water started to hit him from the explosion. The scalding hot liquid left no mark, but it did have a stinging effect. It was not enough to cause a hit point of damage, but it just would be a pain to attack, defend, or do anything for that matter in it.
More droplets began to wet the barren field until small puddles of mud began to form. Hacorie was sill getting stung, but not as much since he ended up retreating next to the boulders where he could wedge himself in between a small opening cutting the painful water drop hits to a smaller percent. He stared at the point in front of him, waiting for the drops to stop, and he was also waiting for a movement to signify his opposition’s arrival to the field. “Now I guess I will see how Raven will fare in this type of situation. I wonder why the weirdo moderators would create a field like this. Oh well, I guess they at least have some geniuses there, creative ones anyway.” As he finished his statement, Hacorie felt the droplets stop appearing, and the ground was suddenly dry again.
“I wonder if that will happen again….best keep that to myself for it may come in handy in the duel.”

Raven - February 22, 2007 04:41 AM (GMT)
Raven had never actually met most of his clan members. He had joined long ago, and was apparently one of the only member to have been logging in as of late. He had considered quiting it many times to look for another clan. What was the point in staying in a clan when you were the only member who was ever online. The only clan members he had ever actually seen was Xeno and Ichida, and not much of either of them. Xeno, or Jukashi as Raven knew him better, had not been on in a long while. He hadn't been to school much either, so Raven assumed it had had to do with whatever caused that. As for Ichida, he had seen him once, long before in that field where he had come to help Xeno against a hacker. The Twinblade had been a strong fighter, but not someone Raven thought he could get along with very easily. He had never met the clan leader Hacorie either, which made him wonder how he ever managed to make it into the clan in the first place. He really didn't remember what he had done either, he had just been a member as long as he could remember. Recently though, between his duties helping with Horel's little group, and his involvement with the Eventide Crescendo, he had been rather busy. Now though was as good a time as any to get more involved in clan stuff though. It had even come to mind to try and revive Fatal Exception himself, even if the leader had more or less vanished. He had managed to get a hold of Hacorie by e-mail though not too long before, an e-mail in which he had given him permission to run a recruitment. A recruitment that Raven was still trying to find interested people for on the BBS. Now as he lay in his usual spot, on top of a roof in Mac Anu, he thought about the upcoming duel he had that day. The leader of Fatal Exception had finally returned, and he had been looking for someone to duel. Raven had been all too willing to try his hand against his previously absent clan leader. Now the match was close at hand, and Raven was as ready as he'd ever be.
Let's get going then. he thought.
He leaped down from the rooftop and walked towards the Chaos Gate in the middle of that mess of buildings. As he stood before it, he made sure he had his best equipment already equipped. Taking care to make sure that he was using his Souleater and not one of his other three swords, he shut the window and stepped up to the gate.
"Shapeless Hot-blooded Dead Lands!"
The three gold rings descended and swept him off to the field where his opponent awaited. Dropped amidst a wasteland of barren soil and stone, he quickly found sight of his opponent, Hacorie. Raven's black cloak flapped in the slight breeze that blew over the landscape, revealing more of his black clothing underneath.
"You must be my clan leader Hacorie. It's nice to see you. I have one favour to ask, please don't hold back. I'm here to test my skills against someone who's played much longer than I have." Raven told her, his hands drifting to his sword.
It was almost time for the match to begin, and Raven couldn't wait.

"You must be my clan leader Hacorie. It's nice to see you. I have one favour to ask, please don't hold back. I'm here to test my skills against someone who's played much longer than I have." A voice spoke as a dark figure began its pace toward the Heavy Blade. He asks me not to hold back, but I cannot comply with his demands. I will make sure I still have some fun though before I get the duel over with. With his thoughts echoing to form action, Hac stood up and slowly sidestepped away from his opponent. No matter what the environment, a duel was a contest of strength and wit, not friendship. Once both parties were in the vicinity of a dueling ground, their visages change and two people who might have been friends are then considered enemies. However, there could be a little spot of fun, added in the mix, to keep the two from continuing the rivalry outside dueling.
“Aye. I am Hacorie, leader of Fatal Exception. With you showing up here and knowing my name, which means, you must be Raven? I guess we should go ahead and get this started then, eh?” Hac’s icy eyes glowing ever valiantly stared down his opponent hoping to strike a bit of terror in Raven’s veins. With his short speech over, Hacorie pulled out his weapon of choice for the match, the KK while backpedaling a few steps in the process. This blade was quite rare to be a common sword. It was not seen by the public much, but its outstanding prowess always resulted in a great showing from the warrior who wielded it. This long katana had been a companion of the Heavy Blade for a long time. It was a well-deserved reward from a Gott Statue a long time ago. The small chips in the blade showed anyone who saw it two unique qualities: One, the blade had been used much and Two, it had cut down many foes.
With a brazen look on his face, Hacorie tilted the sword down and grazed the soil to decide the texture of the barren field. The earthy ground was much like dirt, easy to move the topsoil, but, not even a few centimeters under, hard as a rock. Glancing back up at Raven periodically over this five second span, Hacorie decided it was time to take the initiative and attack his opponent. Without a word, he lowered his hood and revealed his face to his opponent. His golden blond hair radiated and also seemed to absorb the sunlight. His tan skin helped bring out the bright blue eyes which were still shining ever so soft heartedly.
Next, Hacorie stepped his right foot back into a stance. From this position, he pointed the KK at his opponent as if giving Raven time to respond with whatever he saw fit to do. Not two seconds after he lifted his sword, Hacorie dropped it suddenly. This unexpected move would most likely cause a disruption in the thought process of Raven for a brief moment. As the clanging of the metal touching the dirt sounded, Hacorie stated two words, “Rue Rom.” A blue glyph left his gloves, and it began to quickly travel across the ground. Blades of ice began to form as a brilliant show of what seemed like mirrors began to swirl around, enclosing on one thing, Raven. Since Hacorie was so close to his opposition when the spell was cast, there was almost no way to escape the ensuing chaos.
Hacorie was not standing still after the spell left his hand however, no he had a much better plan than that. He was now in the midst of running toward the tornado of ice and water. His heavy katana following close by his side. The tight grip placed on the blade ensured it would stay that way since the KK was the main part of act two of Hac’s fun. Nearing a few more steps, the blade began to illuminate a green aura. For those who played the game, this was typically known for the casting of a wood spell was coming. However, the tornado should have made sure that only blue was seen, except maybe for the black shadow of the nearing Heavy Blade.
“Hirameki!” Hac shouted as he penetrated through the ice tornado while swinging his sword, hoping to his opponent who should lie inside.
This should give him a good scare....

Raven - March 3, 2007 11:27 PM (GMT)
Raven and Hacorie stared each other down for what seemed like several minutes before Hacorie made the first move. He raised his long katana making it look like he would use a physical attack, but then dropped the sword to the ground instead. Raven fought the urge to watch the sword, knowing better than to trust a distraction. During a fight it was best to keep your eyes on your opponent's body, not just their weapon. Sure enough, Hacorie's left hand came up and glowed blue for a brief moment.
“Rue Rom.” he called.
A tornado of water and ice flew at Raven, who tried to get as far out of the way as possible from the attack. He knew he couldn't escape damage at this range, but he could lessen it by being on the edges of the attack instead of being right in the middle of it. The ice scratched at his body, threatening to sweep him up into its vortex, but Raven managed to stay out of it. Then he heard something enter the tornado, coming straight through towards him.
“Hirameki!” came Hacorie's voice.
Hacorie came flying through the tornado with his sword swinging, a special attack in action. Raven knew better than to let it hit him completely though, but it was too late to dodge. Instead, his own blade glowed bright as he activated his own skill.
"Crack Slash!" he called out as the two swords met in the air.
Adding to the water flying everywhere, suddenly a geyser shot off into the air. Warm water rained down on them as they held their blades against one another, Raven defending himself from the Heavyblade's attacks.
