Warping from Mac Anu to the customized Battlefield, I feel a pang of nervousness, thinking about who my opponent it. I reappear in the Battlefield, and with in seconds I begin to fel the heat from the flames and teh cold from the rain begining to take its toll on my body. "I should probably warm up till she gets here." I say stretching. I then begin to jog around the circle, trying to get a feel for how slippery the ground is and how fast i'll be able to manuever. "This mist certainly is doing its job." i say trying to see throught the watery abyss of steam. I finish preparing for the fight and look up. How had I not seen the crowd before? A roar of excitement and anticipation goes over them as we awair the arrival of my opponent.

Viva stretched a bit and walked lazily to the area that had been designated for her duel. She'd not touched any duels since the Tourny, well with the exception of her fight with Link. That boy was always the exception. She had purposely disabled herself for this duel however; her opponent being a level one twin blade, not even having completed his first quest yet. Ah youthful enthusiasm. I must try not to squish that too terribly much. She stopped and let the Chaos Gate remove her to the custom field the youth had come up with.

She opened her eyes to be greeted with a wonderfully cleansing rain. Bringing a hand up to her eyes, she stared through the downpouring rain. As she did, flames shoot up around her, encircling the field in a wall of fire. Interestingly enough the two opposing elements on the field did not conflict as they should've, but came to a happy trounce and mated to create a vale of steam that crept rapidly over the field. Experimentally Viva pressed her taloned feet against the ground, it was made of cobbled stones. Danger, slippery when wet. Roads made of such material have brought an end to many a good horse by causing them to fall and break their legs.

"Good thing we're not built for speed Viva," the Wavemistress muttered, unfurling her cloak and pulling her hood over her to shield the rain off her. But then something caught her eye. Her opponent. He was running along the edge of the circle of fire, and was distracted by the crowd that was cheering for blood. Cute. The fire did little to aid for shadows that would hid her, so in moments he would see her. I love playing offensive, the demon snickered.

With that Viva turned and charged at the twin blade bringing her wand around in front of her. She closed the space between them quickly and when she had little more then ten feet between them she unleashed an attack,
"Ani Don!" the darkness converged over the twin blade and hovered for a moment, until Viva brought her wand down in a crushing motion releasing the lump of darkness and despair from its suspended position in the air and sending it crashing down towards its target.
"Rule one, never stop watching for your enemy!" She called to him, wait to see if her attack would hit.

"KUSA!"I yell as I do a running slide underneath the bubbling, destructive orb. I barely make it passed and I feel the ground a couple feet behind me explode. She's gonna freaking kill me! This one thought races through my mind as I try circling the field again. Calm down, Calm down, Calm down! I tell myself trying to slowly regain my composure.The crowd lets our a wild roar as the battle continues

I've got it!I begin running towards Viva and leap into the air. "Juk Rom!" I yell. Suddenly wood begins coming up from the ground, forming a dome around Viva. The wood then begins spinning with branches still growing creating a violent tornado around her. I think i've got her now!

"KUSA!" The twin blade yelled, dropping into a slide on the wet stones to avoid her attack. The crowd was cheering now with renewed vigor, but Viva paid them little mind as she began moving again from the spot she'd frozen in when she'd released her attack. However her intial charge at her opponent had cost her in defense as he twisted around and sent a wood tornado at her.
"Argh!" Viva barely had time to throw up her arms to guard her eyes before the whirlwind of toothpicks assulted her. This kid has balls. Heh. Time to remove them, Viva's demon thought as the sharp wood cut away at her cloak and into her skin. Gritting her teeth again the small razor slices that made their way into her skin, the wavemistress was sure that by now the twin blade would be moving again and prepping for another attack. The Juk Rom completed its cycle and Viva tore off her now ruined cloak letting it vanish into her inventory where it would repair itself. The downpour of rain was shockingly cold on her wings, which she still kept tightly folded against her back as she scanned the area as best she could for her opponent, biting down on her tongue to resist the temptation to summon up a healing spell.

Finding him didn't take long as he had just landed from his attack, but he was still facing her. Smirking to herself, Viva flipped her wand in her hands a few times and then charged at the twin blade again as fast as the rain would allow her taloned feet to go. Ready demon?
I was born ready. As she closed in on the twin blade she launched herself into the air, her legs tucking in underneath her body as she entered a flip. Swinging her wand around again she used the object's momentum to bring her body around the rest of the way, completing the flip so she was facing the orange splashed boy again.

As she fell from the sky along with the rain and all its wet wet glory, Viva's raven wings snapped open and she brought her talons up to bear in front of her in the preditor pose of a velociraptor, her arms out to her side to balance her landing, which, unless Lunero was carrying a speed charm, should hopefully be on top or right in front of her opponent.

Wonderful, freaking wonderful. I think as I see her leap out of the violent whirlwind, with only small scratches on her. "This is really, really bad." I hiss as she flies towards me, her huge talons, open and ready to tear my throat out. How the hell am I supposed to deal with this? Wait, what did Keith tell me? Oh come on remember, remember!

"There will be times when you will be facing players or monsters who may be faster or stronger than you, that’s just the way this game works." Keith had said, closing his eyes. "Most of the times, more experienced players will attack you without a second thought, thinking it will be easy Exp killing of a newb player. But, I can give you some hints on how to retaliate against these kinds of attacks." He had said drawing his sword. For the rest of that afternoon Keith had showed me and Sami how to fight off enemies from the air, ground, and distances.

"Wait that’s it!" I cry. If this works, I'll be able to inflict some serious damage, if it doesn't I’m screwed. "Tiger Claws!" I scream, my body beginning to gain speed as I whirl around. My body becomes a whirling sphere of flashing steel, looking deadly from all directions. The wind picking up around my body, creating a vacuum, beginning to suck the rain in towards me, is simulating a Whirlpool. "Dodge this!" I yell my voice resonating from inside a swirling ball of death.

"Tiger Claws!" Lunero yelled as gravity rapidly closed the vertical gap between Viva and the twin blade. The twin blade rapidly became a swirl of rainy orange and black, and Viva was amazed for a moment that he was staying in one place despite the slipperiness of the cobbled field. But there was no going back now.

"MeAni Kruz!" Viva yelled as she came down on the whirlwinding twin blade. Immediately as she landed, his swords cut into her flesh, hitting her legs and talons first as she had them raised in hopes of trying to gorge him. Fuck that hurts! Viva felt the dual swords cut through her pants and into her flesh. Fortunately she was still landing and the assault on her legs was brief as they touched on the ground and the rest of her body was exposed to the attack. The force of the attack knocked Viva backwards and off her shaking legs but not before Lunero was able to land a few well placed slashes.

Where's that fucking Kruz attack? It should have hit him already! Viva looked up and saw the converging clouds of darkness gathering around the twin blade who was nearing the end of his attack. She forced herself to her feet, holding a hand to her stomach as blood was seeping out of one of the gashes.
"Demon, help me," Viva whispered through gritted teeth. She blinked and her eyes turned red. At least his fool attack didn't hit our lovely wings. But our legs and feet are weak now. We need to finish this quickly.
Agreed. The rain continued to fall as the now demon controlled player took on a defensive stance as she waited to see what the younger player's next move would be.

As my attack ends, the wet stone beneath my boots begins to regain its moisture and more due to my attack. I begin slipping and sliding, struggling to keep from falling. I llok around t o see the area around me growing darker and darker, similar to what you would picture death closing in on the dying. I look Down at my cloathes, my cloak and shirt, noticing they are staind a morbidly dark crimson. I Hit her! This should limit her movements now. I franticly search for a way out of the attack, looking in all directions and looking down, I see a trail of bloody bread crumbs if you will. Great....this is gonna hurt but its the only way out, I think to my self.

I begin to charge along the bloody trail and slam through the darkening field, screaming as the magical attack begins slamming me. My body begins to bruise as the shadowy cloud hammers and abuses my body. "Please be almost out, please be almost out!" I whisper as i continue swiftly making my way through the abyss. "Light!" I yell, as I emerge from the dark mass, my body battered and bruised, my mouth bleeding. I begin picking up speed and moving left and right as if dodging some invisible force. With crimson stained blades, I begin to use my speed and the slick ness of the ground to my advantage.

I leap up into the air, still moving forwards towards Viva and when within striking distance, I use my blades as propellers, forcing my body into a spin. I tighten my legs together so they look like one. Only feet away i begin my deadly assault begining to rain kicks and slashes down, hoping that this will allow me to damage the girl even more.

A charge? He's charging us? Viva's demon watched in slight amusement as Lunero ran at her and went into a controlled spin. He has unusally good control for such a young player. However when you make that move you are vulnerable. He can't stop till the attack is over and changing direction, at his speed and in this enviroment.

Viva hopped backwards a few paces, her claws clicking on the stones of the floor as she did. One of her feet landed in a small pot hole in the stones, splashing water up her ankle and soaking her pants. But Viva paid it little heed as she watched the twin blade coming at her. Granted the few hops had put a bit more space between them but the general direction had not changed.
"MeRue Kruz!" Viva yelled at the approaching spinning top twin blade.

One of her feet landed in a small pot hole in the stones, splashing water up her ankle and soaking her pants. But Viva paid it little heed as she watched the twin blade coming at her. Granted the few hops had put a bit more space between them but the general direction had not changed.
"MeRue Kruz!" Viva yelled at the approaching spinning top twin blade.

I land just inches in front of Viva, my blads still spinning at high speeds thanks to the manuever. As soon as I touch down, i feel my body begin being pelted and then crushed by enourmous globs of water. Some water slips nto my throat and i begn gagging relentlessly, tryiing to breathe. I jump away, my body now tense from the near death expierience. "Wonderful." i say noticing my health now at 55%. I Back flip backwards to put even more distance between Viva and myself. Hmm...I think to myself.

"So, Lunero, What do you do when your out of Sp and have no healing items?" Said Max, lifting his great heavyblade. The afternoon sunlight reflected off of it, creating a glaring reflection at my feet. His smile was warm as always, even though he had a great scar down the side of his face.

"Umm...Fight till you die?" I say sheepishly, praying that is the right answer.

"Well in a way, yes that is what you do," he says laughing, "but if you want to survive to win, you need to use your classes advantages. Now you excell in speed, so use your speed to dodge and counter before the enemy can react. Now, Have at thee!" He yells, Launching himself into the air. "Calamity!" he yells, sending himself into a somersault and bring his sword down.

With spilt second timing, I dodge the attack by rolling to the left, the tip of his sword just barely missing my head and smacking the ground. Before he can react, My blades, as if on instinct, fly out catching him in the sides.

"Nice," he says wheezing through the pain. "now, show me what you can do while on the offense."

Thats it! Snapping back to reality, I begin running towards the girl again, this time with no fear and a confident grin on my face.
