I'm not quite sure why I made a whole new topic for this...

... but, in light of the event, I would like to suggest that we, The Radical Dreamers, should embark on another clan quest.

But, I think it's a good idea. We could brainstorm, press forward our ideas, maybe even quest a little... I dunno. Just a thought.

Let's hear a response, in the form of either a "Hear-hear!" followed by two slams of the fist for a yes, and a bugger-the-hell-off for a no.

But uh, I dunno if I'm in or not. I'd like to write stuff for quests but honestly I have no desire to do so anymore. So I guess I'll withhold my decision until you guys decide what you want to do. If anything I can help out with some ideas and feedback.

I'm rusty on ANYTHING .hack-oriented, and I'm getting lazy with my lit. writings.

I'm up for it. I'm attempting to join another quest at the moment, but if this actually comes to fruition(i think i used the word correctly) then i'll bail on them and join you guys.

I was thinking of quest ideas, but I'm not coming up with a whole lot. I'll keep thinking, and in the meantime, why don't you all try to figure some? Anything is fine, really; we're the Radical Dreamers.

Now that I think about it, it's good that there isn't a huge response to this, just a few people... it will make the quest easier to manage and finish. A good enough number of people need to participate, though, to even call it a clan quest, so at least four people, more if possible. We've got myself, Bel, Reiko, Rose, and strato, as well as some contributers of inspiration and ideas; possibly more questers.

I'll post again when I've got some ideas. I'll do some research and look shit up; find something to base this on.

Oh by the way, I had some white text in my first post. I'm up for a quest if it happens.

I've pretty much given up on questing, as the creative side of my brain had an unfortunate accident involving a leafblower and an angry dog.

But! if the quest ideas sound good, and school doesn't start kicking me in the teeth again, I'll join.

For the next 2 weeks I'm stupidly busy with Uni work but after that I'm good for a quest!

As a note, I finally convinced one of my friends to join, so if this doesn't start by the end of next week, I'll have to go join her.

I've done some thinking... and have decided that, in light of other ideas and whims floating about, this quest is going to be based upon a series of intertwined riddles, all correlating to one another, so on and so forth. The topic of the riddles and their connections, of course, will not be revealed, as it will ruin your all's parts in the quest. I've already got a large ascending list of clues, hints, and riddles that will start the quest off. It (the riddles, etc.) will be centered around one or a couple of items, which you will all decipher and proceed accordingly. It will be up to the parties involved to figure out the clue amongst themselves, either by in-game communication or PM, I don't much care, and to act accordingly within the post.

I'll begin typing tonight, and will probably have it up by tomorrow.

This will emulate Sydofh's system in the "Ophidian Staircase" escapade, in that I will leave open-ended posts that leave much to you all, like descriptions and paths you choose, etc., while still providing objectives and such. A map will be revealed, but it will be part of the clues. You'll get it, I'm sure.

Until then, go ahead and submit any ideas that you find interesting, concepts that may need addressing, anything.

Also, I've known her for five years, she's kept me from mental breakdowns on multiple occasions, and she's named after a fruit.

EDIT: Didn't wanna double post. As for the questy thingy... Would this riddle thing be the entire party as a group, groups of two or three people apice, or one person wandering around wherever. I never really followed Ophidian Staircase so I dunno how that would work. ^^;

Wanted to keep it kind of a secret, as it could lead to some answers... but there should be three groups, two a piece (if we can get six people) and they will all be specific to group. It will be a checkpoint-to-checkpoint system, where the next set of clues will be given at that point.

I should have the post up tonight... I really will try, and if I'm not able to for whatever reason, no later than tomorrow, swear. I'm sure I will, though.

A couple of questions to the rest of you:

@Reiko: Are you sure you want to accompany us? The choice is yours as to who you want to go with, and I'll make amends accordingly. No pressure.

@Sydofh: Do you plan on attending the quest, or do you think you'd rather just hang back? If so, I'd like to consult with you ideas of mine and solicit your creative talents.

The quest will probably be up tomorrow; I've taken a slightly new and twisted direction with the central plot, and am rethinking a lot of things. But, it will be here soon.
