Nothing much happened today with Steve. He knew he had a battle to attend to in "The World," so he got on as quikly as possible. This was going to be his first fight so he was both anxious and nervouse. He then logged on and headed to the designated area.
----------------------------
The gold rigs dissapeared from surroundig Silent. He ran to variouse shops to atock up on variouse scrolls. There he bought two Meteor Swarms. Afterwards he saved and went to the Chaos Gate. "Delta Bursting PassedOver Hypha." Silent called out the words and was then transported to the battle area. The field was like he described, a nightime platue with a tree here and there.
Silent began to look around and he found two large rock like pillars, one smaller then the other. Silent climbed up the smaller one and got a good birds-eye-view of the area. Wondering if any one had come yet, he went on his belly and crwled over to the edge of the rock. With the height of the rock, there was no way that any one would be able to see him from the ground. Silent pulled out a Fire Tempast scroll and waited for a sighn of someone else to arrive.

Golden rings transported him into the root town Mac Anu. Hyruji took a deep breath, looking around for a bit before turning away from the Chaos Gate and going down the steps in front of it, stopping at the Saving Booth. He decided that he'd better save before this duel, and besides that, it was already a habit to save before leaving a root town, a habit that every player should have. After saving he turned around and walked right back up those steps and stopped in front of the Chaos Gate. "Δ Bursting PassedOver Hypha"
The same golden rings that had got him to Mac Anu, now transported him to the playing field where he would be dueling. As said in the BBS topic, it was a night time platue with a few trees here and there. Almost immeadiatly he pulled his sword from its sheath, holding its hilt with both hands, eyes looking around.
His opponents in todays duel were two people he knew well, kind of. Silent and Hitori. Both were in a quest from a ways back that, unfortunatly, he had to pull out of, but during his time with the two of them, and the rest of the group that they had quested with, he had already knew how the two of them were, how they acted, and how they played this game.
Though, not seeing anyone at the moment, he relaxed somewhat, but was still on alert. Unfortunatly, he may be at a disadvantage. He knew that Hitori, and Silent both could use magic of some sort, and probably have scrolls aswell, as for himself, all he had was his sword, no magic what-so-ever. But thats how it was for him. Hyruji was a Blademaster, not a Wavemaster, or much of a mage at all, he preferred strength, and power over that sort of thing.
"...Well, it seems as if I'm alone."

Hitori - October 25, 2005 12:42 AM (GMT)
"MATSUO!!!" my mother yelled from downstairs. I was cleaning my room and thinking about my life when I heard her say it. Three days after my so-called duel with Athren, and I hadn't gone on The World for one second. I mean, he never showed up, and I was waiting in my tree. In the end, I gave up and logged out. I yelled back, "What, Mom? Is it Gwen or someone else?"
"No, it's your friend, Kormo. He's on the phone. Could you get it? I'm washing dishes right now, so I can't come up."
I picked up the phone and said, "Hey, Kormo. Whatcha doin' right now? Playing video games? Are you having trouble with your computer again. Talk to me." As I listened to his reply, I heard the ring of a flashmail going off. I told Kormo to hold for a second and turned on my computer. It was an e-mail from an old comrade of mine, Silent Flame. It was addressed to not only me, but to another familiar player: Hyruji. He had saved me a few times on my first quest, and Silent hadn't stopped contradicting me about how I played the game. The flashmail said to meet at Bursting Passed Over Hypha for a duel. As I read it to its full extent, I grinned. This was a chance to show both of them how I had changed since we had last met. I made a reply saying I'd be there, and said goodbye to Kormo, telling him I'd probably see him at school or online.
As I logged onto The World and put on my VR helmet, I watched my entire body and clothing change into the familiar appearance of Hitori, the Wavemaster of Wind. My face became covered with symbols, and my eyes turned to green. As my hair became black, I sighed, turning back to my thoughts of life and my best friend, other than Kormo, Matt. Thinking that we could go on a group quest, I closed my eyes as the kaleidoscope of colors faded into the root town of the Delta Server, Mac Anu. Making sure I had everything I needed, I turned back to the Chaos Gate from which I had teleported out of, and yelled, "Bursting Passed Over Hypha." The usual gold rings surrounded me, and I teleported to the Field.
Upon arriving, I saw Silent already atop one of the smaller pillars around the Field. Taking in more of my surroundings, I saw Hyruji mutter something to himself. Before anyone could notice me, I jumped into the nearest tree and observed Silent. He was holding a Fire Tempest scroll, and seemed to not have noticed my arrival. I jumped onto a higher branch, though, just in case Hyruji would do the same thing that he did the last time we dueled...

It was a wile that Silent had been ontop of the rock pillar. Piercig the nightime darkness Silent saw a bright golden light appear on the field. Theres one of them. But who is it? The darkness was able to conceal the other player, since Silent was to far away to make out details. Monerting the player, Silent noticed that the opponent was a bit confused and just was standing around at the time. I'll wait for now.
A little wile later Silent noticed a secong gold light appearing. Well thats both of them. There's no way that they can see me.. I think. Silent watched as newly entering charecter circled around Silent and climbed into a tree. Whats he up to? Oh well. Time for the fight to begin. Silent stood up and aimed the scroll at the tree. Fool. "Fire Temast!" The fire tornado shot out of the scroll aiming stright for the tree. Silent didn't know were the person was since it was nightime though. The only option he had was a lucky guess. The fire tornado streamed out of the scroll and engulfed the tree in flamming embers. A burning pine scent came out and reached across the field.

Hyruji - October 25, 2005 11:49 PM (GMT)
If a voice screaming out "Fire Tempest!" wasn't enough to alert the blademaster, a tree being completly engulfed by flames was definatly one that did. Hyruji gripped his blade tight, pulling it back, over his shoulder and charged forwards, towards the tree. From what he could remember about both Silent and Hitori, the one who had called out the name of that scroll was Silent, which meant that Hitori was playing his monkey games again and had hid himself inside the tree.
With a smirk, and now a closing distance with the tree, he picked up his pace a bit to the point where he was almost in front of the tree in mere seconds. The blademaster then took to the sky, jumping up into the air, twisting his body somewhat, and spinning around, blade outright, catching the flames and blowing them all around the tree, almost like adding fuel to the fire, it becoming bigger and more like an inferno. "REVOLVER!"
Hitori would truely be in some serious hurt after all of this fire surrounding him, and maybe if Hyruji was lucky, his blade slashed at him to. He'd have to thank Silent for setting this move up, that is, before he killed him.

Hitori - October 26, 2005 09:05 PM (GMT)
As Silent used his Fire Tempest scroll, I laughed out loud, closed my eyes, and jumped like a tiger. Luckily, I made it, but when I turned around I saw it was engulfing more than the tree I was on; it was actually following me! This time, when I jumped and reached another tree, I quickly jumped to another one. I kept doing that until I finally got bored jumped up to the highest branch I could reach, and, while crawling up the tree, I quietly muttered, "Juk Rom." The wind spell sent the flames that were coming towards me back the way they came. It helped me a lot, because it just so happened that Hyruji had gotten into that path. He still thought I was on the one tree, because he yelled, "REVOLVER!" He saw the flames, though, and only got scorched as he dodged out of the way. I cursed silently, and went off in the opposite direction of my opponents, hoping that, somehow, Silent would kill Hyruji...
Silent_Flame - October 26, 2005 10:38 PM (GMT)
My fire tempasy scroll lit up most of the treesaround the area. When the flames hit the tree, the nidentified charecter laughed out loud and began to move. Telling from the laugh it must be Hitori. "Revolver!" A fierce attack slashed away the branches that Hitori was on. Silent in alarm took a step or two back and watched.
Silent watched the flames burn down the trees. He's done for! The flames trailed around and before Silent knew it, the flames seemed to be comming riight back at him. Silent snapped into action and his in a crevace that seperated the two rock pillars that Silent was on. Normally using a wood spell would feed the fire, telling how it was Hitori the wood part of the spell Didn't matter, thus redirecting the flames with wind, wich should have fed the fire around not in a straight line. A Wavemaster has more magic the I thought.
Silent waited till the flames subsided away from above him and ran into the flamming forest area. Sure it was dark and smoke was everywere, but Silent could tell were the spell came from by the more intence burnings in the trees from were the spell was redirected.
Silent noticed that the flames were comming to an end and decided to take caution. Must be close... Silent squinted to look around. In the moon light their Silent saw Hitori. Being up so high gave himself away, if he was any lower then Silent would have never had seen him. "Triple Wiled!" Silent gripped his axe and tore down the tree that Hitori was on from behind. The tree started to fall into the fiery inferno. Silent waited to see Hitori's next move, along the same time staying ready to see if Hyruji would attack. Silent kept at ease and waited with a heavy defence.

Hyruji - October 26, 2005 11:06 PM (GMT)
Hyruji went wide-eyed at the fact that the fire had been turned back at him with a Juk Rom spell. Though the science of that move didn't make much sense, he was lucky that his current Revolver attack deflected and blew most of the fire away from him. He was only slightly singed, which was a good thing. No WAY was he going to let himself get beat by HITORI of ALL people.
The blademaster watched now as a figure, a Heavy Axeman, so obviously it was Silent, hack away at a tree, his Triple Wield knocking the tree down towards and into the fire. he was sure that the other player wouldn't waste the few SP he had for now reason, so Hitori must be, yet again, acting like a monkey and sticking with the FEW trees that were in the area.
Just so the wavemaster couldn't get away, Hyruji charged towards the falling tree, blade ready to hack off Hitori's head if he could. With no place to hide, Hitori would be pretty open to an attack, and with the moonlight illuminating, it was easy to jump in the air, yet again, and slash at him, though he would have to be careful when he landed, in case Silent was there waiting for him.

Hitori - October 27, 2005 03:40 AM (GMT)
As Silent split the tree that I was on in half, I screamed in delight and decided to use the bark as a slope to go down. I quickly broke of a piece of it and used it as a snowboard. As I fell, I saw Hyruji heading towards me, looking like he was just about to rip my head off with his sword. As he swumg it, I grinned and said, "Ok, you got me." I held up my hands like I was going to surrender, then with lightning quick speed I pulled out a scroll and yelled, "Nightblight!" The scroll activated, sending Hyruji sprawling against Silent. The spell alsow worked as a cloak to hide me, so I took the advantage and jumped back onto a tree. I jumped like the monkey I was back towards the starting point and making sure this time not to be noticed.
Silent_Flame - October 27, 2005 10:39 PM (GMT)
Hitori came out off the flaming tree. Hyruji was there waiting for him, but Hitori pulled off a cowardly move and escaped Hyrujis grasp. "No way your getting away! Time to settle this." Hyruji lost sight of Hitori, but Silent didn't remove his eyes even for a second. Hyruji slammed into Silent from a nightshade scroll. Silent just moved Hyruji aside and reached into his trench coat. "Wall of Fire." Silent took out three more FireTempest scrolls. He then threw them into Hitori's direction. The scrolls traveled and came into Hitori's path. When they landed infront of Hitori they ignited. Three fire tornado's erupted and cought off Hitori from running.
Silent locked at Hyruji for a momment. I can't afford Hitori to regen his Sp.Silent then left Hyruji and went for Hitori.

Seeing as how the others like to just sit around and twiddle their thumbs, Silent wasn't feeling up to the challenge any more. He entered his menu screen and gated out.
