Title: Sekai vs. Ko Inuyasha

Rayo - September 16, 2005 03:01 AM (GMT)
Flower/High grassland under a full moon and starry sky.

Sekai - September 21, 2005 12:08 AM (GMT)
((OOC: Sorry for starting so late!))

Sekai teleported from the Chaos Gate in Mac Anu to this field. Barren of any monster portals and such, it was a perfectly lovely place to go for a battle. Sesshomaru had told her of a few sparring rounds between himself and Ko Inuyasha. Naturally, she had gotten curious as to actually what the purpose of a duel was and had sent a challange ahead to Ko himself, just for kicks.

Sesshomaru told me about a couple of the "duels" the two of you have had. I'm a little curious as to how the two of you engage in these "duels" and thus I'd like to issue a challange to you. If it is anything like I think it is, maybe it'll be a fun chance to test our respective fighting styles.

Awaiting the arrival of her friend and future dueling partner, Sekai noticed the area around her and smiled. A full moon in the midst of a star sprinkled sky provided the light over a breathtaking field of wildflowers and high prairie-like grass that swayed softly and rustled in the gentle wind. Blades out and ready, Sekai smiled to herself.

'This looks like the field that Sesshomaru and I took our first date on.'

I was already wondering around the aqua capital when I heard the sharp ping that informs me that I have a new flash mail to repond to. I'm a little surprised to find out that it's from my twin balde friend Sekai.

It's competition of battle. I'll be right there but, don't expect me to go easy on you.

I've got a new rise in the game now. I'll love fighting players alot more then fighting monsters. Players do unexpected things and devise new tactics out of nowhere; it'll be a blast. I soon arrive at the chaos gate that takes me to dueling areas. Sekai never told me where she was going to so I use here member address to find out what field she's in. After locating her I call out the field and am warped into a field filled with flowers.

"Flowers? Flowers..." I'm not to fond of so many flowers and my voice shows it. On the plus side there's a fine amount of stars in the sky and a very nice moon. I look around abit to see Sekai over yonder. "She hasn't noticed me yet," I talk to myself as I crouch down to the ground, "I'll sneak up on her before I get serious." I move quietly up to the twinblade's area from her right side. As far as I know she hasn't spotted me yet. I slowly move the large blade off of my back to under my stomach as I stalk the prey.

A rather amused expression came over Sekai's face as she read the message. There wasn't any sound save for the rustling of the flowers and the grass in the wind.

'Who said I wanted you to be easy on me in the first place?'

Something caught her attention, closing her eyes, Sekai listened to the wind rustling through the grass, her senses were focused as she concentrated on the patterns of the grass rustling. A small almost delighted smile came over her face as she heard something moving against the musical vibrations of the night.

'He's trying to sneak up on me or, I'm imagining things.'

Sekai's eyes flashed as she purposefully allowed herself to collapse down into a crouching position, now hidden by the tall grass that had come up to her waist. She had once again placed her hat into her inventory just so that it didn't get lost like the last few times, blades drawn and ready to strike, Sekai awaited the best chance to strike, looking for a tell tale sign of the scarlet clothing that seemed to be Ko's signature.

'Two can play at this game.'

Ko_Inuyasha - September 23, 2005 01:52 AM (GMT)
As I moved closer to the twinblade female, I noticed a shifty change in her apperance. Her eyes are now closed and she grins. She knows. My mind's voice echos in my mind. She quicly dissapears into the tall shrubbery. My clothes will give me away if she's on the same level as me... I'll have to kick it up a litle bit more.

I draw a bottle of burning oil from one sleeve and a meteor swarm scroll from the other. I stand up to attention and noticing that even while I'm standing I rise little over the brush. Shrugging the distraction from my head I put the bottle's liquids in my mouth and hold the parchment upright to cast it's spell. Before the scroll incinerates in my hand I breath the burning liqiuds on the field surrounding me. The wind does most of my work, spreading the fuel across the grassland. The paper finally burns up in my hand releasing a small meteor covered in fire. The blazing rock collapses on the ground, setting the vicinity a blaze. The flames spead quickly forming a blanket of smog across the wind's current.

Being mainly in fire fields I'm use to this and know what to look for when it comes to movement. I stand with my sword out right and wielded with both hands; waiting for the girl to poke her head out for air.

'Damn!'

Sekai jumped out of the rapidly burning hole she had tucked herself into. She wasn't that tall to begin with so, it worked for her. The reddish-orange flames reflected off the silvery braid that fell down her back. Both blades were out as she landed with a thud and a clump of ashy smoke. She had seen him and was ready for battle. Blood pounded like a taiko competition in her ears as a slow almost dangerous smile came over her face. The flames reflected in the suddenly feral and fierce liquid gold eyes as she shot forward, the burning grass bending beneath her feet as she loosed a hawk-like battle cry and jumped into the air, both blades held in front of her as she dove down towards the silvery haired form of Ko.

"Found you!"

Wind shifts are key when stalking prey in a fire and smoke cloud. Fire tends to follow tinder, even humans. When I notice the shift in the flames and then the rise in smoke I know that Sekai has left her hiding spot to a retreat but, now moves towards me. I can make out her form in the cloud now, She must've spotted me with her eyes. I should've been more illusive. She leaps into the air, above and over the flames, with her blades drawn to me. My large sword acts more the enough as a shield as I raise it above my head ad broad side out to block her attack.

I hold the spell of Juk Rom concelled in my fist for when she plants onto my weapon. "Tell me Sekai," I attempt to distract her from the fight with talking, "What happened between you and Sesshomaru after I left? One time I saw your member addresses in the same field pretty late at night."

Sekai - September 24, 2005 03:42 AM (GMT)
I hold the spell of Juk Rom concelled in my fist for when she plants onto my weapon. "Tell me Sekai," I attempt to distract her from the fight with talking, "What happened between you and Sesshomaru after I left? One time I saw your member addresses in the same field pretty late at night."

Sekai's blades drew sparks against Ko's gigantic blade as she prepared her own spell to be cast, what better way to vanquish flames than to crush them with boulders? Gan Don was prepared, all she had to do was say the words. She wasn't quite the normal Sekai, if one caught the drift. This Sekai was different, more of a fighter and definately not beneath using dirty tricks and tactics to gain victory. The words amused her, according to the smile that didn't touch her eyes.

"Tell me Sekai, what happened between you and Sesshomaru after I left? One time I saw your member addresses in the same field pretty late at night."

A low musical laugh came from her, deeper than her usual soft windchime like voice as she responded with an amused question of her own.

"Do you always assume such interesting things of me Ko? That's just,"

The gold in her eyes flared up as an almost feral glint in her eyes matched the cruelty of her smile.

"-a little too bad!"

She kicked off with both feet, springing back into the air and crossing her blades in front of her face, her voice bellowed louder than was thought possible as a bark-brown light suddenly engulfed her blades and her body.

"Gan Don!"

Ko_Inuyasha - September 24, 2005 04:11 AM (GMT)
I finally feel her weight on my sword when she lands on me and hear the clanking of steel on steel. A little lighter the I expected. I have little trouble holding her up, it's mostly the blade doing the pushing at this point. She talks back, a good sign for me, "Do you always assume such interesting things of me Ko? That's just... a little sad"

She finally has lept off of me and I'm quickly to swing the blade around my perimeter and hold it firm to my back. I hear the Gan Don spell get muffled out by my calling of the Juk Rom spell. There isn't enough time to even watch my spell attack her. Before I know it I've been crushed under several boulders. Even though my body hurts I ake advantage of the situation to escape into my creation of an inferno. Even though I claim the flames as my own in reality the choose no master. I have to proceed cautiosly in the rage or it will burn me up just as easily as Sekai.

Well I was once a teen a while back and I know that if I were going to take my girlfriend out on a date I'd choose a grass field on a clear night. Don't think me a stalker I just know some of the keywords and I looked at the weather report for the server that night.

I'll keep her guessing where I am with a flashmail. She wont be able to follow my voice, and I might even get a good chance to sneak up on her.

'Uh-huh. Not going to get me that easily.'

Sekai thought to herself as a cruel smile crossed into her eyes as she was sliced into by the dozens of the razor edged leaves that struck her. She allowed herself to land into the flames, a cloud of ashes and smoke flying into the air as she crept along the ground. She was tensed and ready to spring into action when the crackling of the flames was disturbed by footsteps.

As I stalk through the burning field and smoke clouds I recieve a ping for a flash mail. I know that it's Sekai and I really shouldn't answer it but, I'm curious.

Well, I guess she knows my vicinity but there's no chance she knows wher I'm at. I'll play this game until I find her.

Message: No, not really. I'm use to the fire fields. I can manage just fine.
So, are you and Sesshomaru in like with each other? Have you smooched yet or, did you go straight to kissing?

edit: I accidentaly never went past this point

I finish the mail and keep on moving through the burning brush. I though I was circling back around but some how I come out on the other side of the burning flower field. I look around thinking I could find Sekai here, but she's no where to be seen. I also, begin to try and look past the field to see if she's waiting for me on the other side but, turns out she must be in the fire right now.

"I think it's about time I began to flush her out and over power her," I speak with confidence as I hold out my right hand and braise the wrist with my left hand. "Juk Rom," I call out the spell for the second time, makig the tornado come from the ground to begin cutting the flaming field in half. The wind swiped out the flames that it comes in contact with. Parts of the field are also begining to run out of tinder for the fire causing small ash patches with no activity.

'Does he really think I'm that kind of woman or is he trying to be irritating on purpose?'

Sekai wondered to herself a small growl escaped from her, her little section of the fire field had narrowly been missed by the twister of leaves and wind. Two would definately play this game, she thought to herself as she prepared her own spell and fired back her own message. Her hand glowed softly as she sent it where she thought Ko might have gone, to the right and about thirty feet ahead of her.

"Gan Don!"

The boulder attack pounded into the ground, shaking ashes and dirt into the air where they impacted.

I'm no fool when it comes to combat. I'm a smart fighter, thinking and watching habits. I know I'll never catch up to her, or beat her in speed. She's supremely faster class and significantly higher level. I leave the view point of my rest and take a stroll to a hill side. The red lights flicker behind me from the dieing fire.

It was stupid to make all that destruction and not finisher her off right away. I went easy when I said I wouldn't. I'll pound her into the ground like Sesshomaru this time around.

I fall on my back with my sword landing behind me on a sixty degree slop of a hill. I flip a meteor scroll around in my fingers as I lie with one arm behind my head. The night sky was a nice choice when it comes to the brilliance of a fire display at the distance of at least a hundred and fifty yards. I was ignoring it before but, I've got time now and decide to read Sekai's flashmail.

I can't help but laugh hilariously at the lack of information giving me all the information I required.

I could give you and hima real date in my restraunt if you wanted. hmmm.... I guess that might be to personal to ask, how about a country location instead?

I yawn and fold over my legs as I wait for that lavender twin blade to come out of the red and black field.

Sekai - October 1, 2005 02:38 AM (GMT)
The sound of laughter had her smirking, she resisted the urge to sneeze and looked at herself for a moment. She was covered from head to toe in a thick layer of grey-white ashes, blending her in with the charred landscape by accident.

'Okay, this is strange enough and I can deal.'

The ping of an arriving flashmail alerted her to a new message being sent, she knew he'd probably put in some smartass quip or something like it to irritate her.

A snort of amusement came from her as she found the mail rather amusing to her. She picked up a rock, nice size and weight, she noted to herself as she hurled it with all her might in the direction opposite of where she'd be going. A large poof of ashes and dust rose lazily into the air as she crawled on her stomach, sitting up a little only to stumble a bit and send herself rolling down the hill in a flurry of grey-white dust and ashes shaped like a small ball. Ironically, she had just sent her message too.

And the entire point of don't kiss and tell is to leave people guessing, I'll just say that it was interesting and, might I say, explosive in a very literal manner. I'll see if someone will allow me to allow you to pay for my passport over to America. I do live in Japan.

"Oh, crap!"

Ko_Inuyasha - October 14, 2005 07:51 PM (GMT)
The once challenging combatant, comes tumbling down the adjacent hillside. The upright scroll, like my face, falls over in disappointment in the player.

She was beating me?!

I grab the end of my sword with my near hand and use it as a crutch to lift myself off of the gorund. While she lies on the ground I prepare a Gan Zot spell over her head. I haven't casted the spell, I'm just targeting my focus over her. I creep to the side so as to avoid her noticing before I want her too. When I've made my way a fair twelve feet to her right, I cast the Gan Zot spell and release the power of my Meteor Swarm scroll in unison. The giant boulders form over her head while burning embers form around her body.

Sekai - October 14, 2005 11:48 PM (GMT)
'This sucks, I'm covered in at least three inch layers of ashes and dust and I just had the single most graceful moment of my entire online life. What now?! Bad things are supposed to come in threes right?'

Something suddenly darkened the moonlight that made the white-grey ashes glow. Sekai's eyes opened, large almost startlingly bright gold orbs contrasted with the pale ashes that clung to her as she looked up to see the orange-brown light of what had to be a magic spell forming right above her head. The scent of flames came to her as well as she swore, probably for the first time ever aloud.

"What the, shit!"

'And I just had to open my big fat thoughts to that. We call that little trick, KARMA!'

Sekai thought furiously at herself as she rolled herself down a smaller hill, the clusters of embers burning through her leather jerkin even as her heart beat picked up, a clump off of one of the rocks hit her right in the butt, a squealing yell of rage filling the air as she winced at the burns and swatted at her body, trying to put them out as she stood up and glared at the figure; like herself, she could see the moonlight reflecting off his hair.

'Alright, now I'm getting pissed off.'

"Juk Rom!"

Her blades were out as she fired off the whirlwind of leaves to kick up the ashes around Ko's form, hopefully she had aimed correctly and had given herself some time to go and really show him what a quick footed girl with two blades could do. She leapt into the air, braid flying out behind her as she pinned the form of her opponent and friend to where he stood with her eyes.

'You're not getting away now!'

Her blades began to flicker with flames, the pale transparent red-orange flames licked up the crescent shaped metal as she allowed gravity to take its natural course and sent her plummeting down. Her eyes flashed as she immediately swung her blades down.

"It's over kokare!"

((SP: 44/70))

Ko_Inuyasha - October 15, 2005 02:09 AM (GMT)
Her lack of grace was amussing at best. Chaotically she rolls down the hill, trying to avoid the spells magic abilities. The fire spell manage to catch several spots of her clothing on fire. When she finally gets back up, the fire is begining to reveal small patches of pale skin, she gets nailed in the butt by a boulder from the Gan Zot spell. I can't help but chuckle at her when I see her dance around squeking to put out the flames. She not only has lost her grace but her suddlety when she screams out her spell and leaps into the air.

"Juk Rom!"

The whirlwind starts at her body but rises up with ash in the mixture to me. I would normally dodge the attack with my dwindling Hp problem but, when I see her leap into the air I take the hit dead on in the calmest of manners. It's not that the smog of ash doesn't burn my eyes, or the cutting leaves don't slice my skin open, oh no it all comes with the deal. But, she's in the air comig right for me with her blades outward to kill me. I stand still as can be waiting for my time to come.

"It's over kokare!"

The arrogant scream signals the time is right. Whenever someone gives a line like that, they're about to attack with no other thought in mind. I raise my large sword in the direct line to skew her in the stomach when she's so near that swings her blades to swipe down on me. It was the last move and I don't don't know who's blood is covering me. I think about what Sesshomaru might do to me if I killed his girl.

"Koujou? You alive?"
