Could someone help me? I use Geocities to store images on so I can post them. To get images to show up, I have to rename them as .txt files. This board, however, won't let me do that.

Nope, I can't do anything. The only thing I can think of is that it's Geocities, and they don't allow direct linking, meaning you have to provide a link instead of showing an image.

It's annoying...

well, for just a couple images, you can email them to me at nam14@cwru.edu and i'll host them for you.

You can also upload files directly from your computer to attach to posts, use the File Attachments field on the posting form. Let me see if that works...

Yeah, it works fine. So just upload from your computer and leave geocities out of the loop ;)

I can also host images for free. And since I don't plan on using much of my own webspace...I can host a lot more :P

And I already began transfering things from your space to mine...and then I realized that Oorla's mask for the site is assigned to YOUR URL and not mine...so...for an entire year from now...it'll be pointless to host my site.

I don't see any way to attach pictures to posts... Did Merin disable it?

Ummm... There are no options under "Post Icons". Just the bar with the "Add Reply" and "Preview Post" buttons. I'm looking and looking... and not seeing. What's going on? :(

but I'm quickly suspecting that it is something only the Root Admin can change...

and since SOMEBODY had to go mess with the board...and made it so there was NO Root Admin...

There isn't a dang thing I can do about it :\
