 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
I have had MerinSun as my email for YEARS upon YEARS...it had a HUGE cache of beloved emails from friends.
I go to open it today so as to keep it active and I can still browse through emails and smile and laugh...
:(
MSN closed my account

How many times have I told you that MSN sucks and you should use yahoo instead?
Or better yet, your mu account?

Well, if you'd had the foresight, and remembered that everything from microsoft is crap, you'd have used hotmail pop access to download all your messages to your computer, so you'd have a backup.
then you could have relocated to an email provider that's not evil.

hotmail pop access lasted all of a day :P
I had it for a while and then it disappeared :(

I still have hotmail pop access :smug:

Don't you have to pay for it??? :P

Nope.
MSN was my default ISP when I bought my Dell, and I still have POP access even though my free ISP period ran out two years ago.
It's some kind of unsupported beta feature in Outlook Express, but I've had almost no problems with it.
