Title: Ghost Hamburger Platter
Description: Uncle Ghostie's Secret Recipe
Ghostdriver5 - February 27, 2004 02:41 AM (GMT)
1 patty of ground round
2 hamburger buns (can have poppyseed or not, it's the diner's choice)
1 head of lettuce (you can slice it up into several strips, lay it on the patty)
1 Tomato (can also be cut into nice slices, also placed onthe patty)
Put the patty and the lettuce and tomatoe between two buns and you're set!
Now, I favor hamburgers because you can do so many different things with them.
For instance, you can add pickles, onions or whathaveyou to the patty, lettuce and tomato!
Another thing that is guaranteed to knock your socks off is the fact that pretty much all condiments flatter the hamburger delightfully when it encounters your palate.
I heartily suggest you take a little trip to your grocery store and stock up on what you need to concoct this sumptous delight!
Follow this secret recipe and you're guaranteed to be eating great tonight!
And remember, there's no need to thank Uncle Ghostie for this bit of culinary wisdom, I do it because I care! Just eat well, my friends, eat well... :D

He's trying to give us all salmonella poisoning!!! Of course you americans like to do that anyway. I couldn't believe it when I was in Florida last month and the guy at Chili's asked me how I wanted my burger!! Um, hello well done!! Why would you want any of it to be pink!! I don't think that's even legal here.

hmm...
medium rare is the correct answer.

For hamburgers?? That's disgusting, I prefer to avoid the food poisoning. All I know is that I took a course on safe food preperation and they said that ground meat has to be cooked through. No pink stuff. All the stuff inside has been exposed to other surfaces and could have gotten bad bacterias that way. Now for steaks medium rare is the best! You don't have to worry about it because the inside has not touched anything, you just have to make sure the outside is cooked.
