Why the power rangers??? WHY!?!?!?!

Honestly, I see the PR as being LESS violent than the games our parents and their parents played at kids: Cowboys and indians. At least in the PR they aren't targeting a certain racial group and enforcing racial superiority ideals...

and plus the PR have lil community service messages at the end of their shows...

the toys and games reflect the show...

I do understand the upset at targeting 3 year olds for games such as T3 or WWF (I don't know about Jak or Manhunt)...those types of things do not involve technology or graphics that make it easily distinguishable from real life and the land of make believe. Those are more realistic and in the case of wrestling, easier to apply to day to day life.

But the Power Rangers??? :(

parents should start an organization to use that list of violent toys as their shopping list for the holidays :ninjafight:

I'd like to see some kid try to take "power ranger" violence to the playground--I remember how they did the battle scenes. :rollin:

Well...first they would need a huge city in which to fight...a city that is completely devoid of people so you don't feel so bad about knocking down huge buildings in the middle of the working day.

OH...and the cities should be able to rebuild over night.
