http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgiENJOY!!!
edit: This is mine:
http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index....ion=cookyacracyhmmm...the country came out more religious than I had thought ;). Personally, I find that grand...but I am conscious of the fact that there are a couple of CC members who are not religious...so...sorry guys!!!
I did read that the guy wrote this stuff to be the extreme of any decision you make when you are designing your country
<This seems... entertaining... but is it also gaming? A difficult decision, but at least this way I have another thread under my control. >
KaneDragon - November 20, 2003 11:24 PM (GMT)
:mischief: :mwaha:
I get to be a Rogue Nation! :glee:
I won't be able to sign up for a nation until tomorrow morning--those flags load up too slow on my current connection. :ohwell:
Join us, and together we shall rule the galaxy.
it IS gaming if you get into the RPG...that is done on the forums and such connected with that...I have yet to understand it all...
but Kane...you don't need to EDIT my posts to make that point ;)
<But it's so much fun... :yeah: >
Absolute power corrupts absolutely, Kane ;)<Well, you should give me absolute power, then! :cute: > ...best to use it in moderation :yeah:<Maybe that's why they call me a Moderator... :ninjafight: >
:hmm2: I should ban you for such a horrible pun :cringe:
<Don't hate me because I'm beautiful. Hate me because I'm ugly. :cute: >
Ha ha...I haven't edited this in a long while...wassup Kane???
<WAAAAASSSSSSSSUUUUPPP? :flash: :yeah: >
Merin Sun - November 21, 2003 01:56 AM (GMT)
bullshit powermonger!!!
:rollin:
;) :flash: :cute:
KaneDragon - November 21, 2003 10:24 PM (GMT)
All bow before the mighty
Rogue Nation of KaneDragon!!! :hail: :hail:
Perhaps I shouldn't have answered "Agree" to that "Military service would fix the messed up youth" question. Originally I answered "Disagree", but then I considered that sending those punks through boot camp might set them straight, so here I am.
Decisions, decisions. The first issue: Voting. I was thinking they should put that question itself to the vote... and make that vote mandatory.
Question: How do I get the crime rate down? Do I have to wait for certain issues?
kundor - November 22, 2003 05:10 AM (GMT)
You get the crime rate down by sterilizing the entire population and raising all children in state-run facilities, instead of letting complete morons, freaks, sadists and criminals raise children, thus perpetuating the continuing cycle of messed-up humans and idiots.
In fact, most every problem can be fixed with this approach.
Merin Sun - November 22, 2003 05:44 AM (GMT)
you're right.
Let's castrate all the males...
<pulls out her spork and looks at Kundork>
<is still mad Kundor made fun of her banner
KaneDragon - November 22, 2003 04:05 PM (GMT)
Stop the vii-lence! :rally:
Why am I getting the voting issue again? There's only been one issue between the two. Now I have to ponder whether or not I want to be a dictator... again!
KaneDragon - November 24, 2003 09:20 PM (GMT)
More on the voting issue:
QUOTE
"Voting is compulsory, organ donation rates are among the lowest in the region, and voting is voluntary."
Okay, I started my nation on Friday. My first issue was Compulsory vs. Voluntary voting. I voted compulsory, and it passed. Got organ donor question on Saturday. On Sunday, however, I got the voting issue again. 'This is strange,' I thought to myself. At first I was going to dismiss the issue, but then I decided that I wanted voluntary voting after all--more freedom. Well, my freedom went up, so that's good. I wouldn't mind leaving it up there; I think it's kinda funny. I did report it in the Tech forum, though.
omichyron - November 25, 2003 12:11 AM (GMT)
omiland isn't quite how I imagined it. give me a few more issues to make it perfect :yeah:
http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index..../nation=omilandwe should create a cookie cabinet region :cute:
KaneDragon - November 25, 2003 02:02 AM (GMT)
Cookie Club! Cookie Club! :yeah:
But really. I was planning on getting a few friends interested and forming the KaneDragon Confederacy... with me as head dictator. I've got the connections. :ohwell:
Wait. "Head dictator"? Does that make any sense? Wait, suddenly it does. :P
Wow, your three stats are looking a bit better than mine, but at least mine has voluntary compulsory voting!
Merin Sun - November 25, 2003 02:54 AM (GMT)
yeah, now I just need to sit down sometime and actually play :\
I've only decided on one issue and joined the UN...other than that I have just been giggling over my country's description :s
KaneDragon - November 25, 2003 10:02 PM (GMT)
I don't see what the point of joining the UN is. You get decisions you don't want forced on you, and your influence is pitifully small compared to the regional delegates. :hmm2:
Do UN decisions apply retroactively? How exactly do they affect your nation stats? :ohwell:
Who is Blood Rayne? Or did Blood just like the sound of "Cookyacracy"?
We really should form our own region... as soon as I get more support. But then, would we really agree on any of the issues? I'm not going for all out dictatorship and no freedom/privacy, but I do like to keep the masses in check. :ohwell:
QUOTE
The person who created a region is known as its "Founder," and can access a page called "Regional Control." This allows him or her to set the World Factbook Entry, password-protect the region (to make it invitation-only), and eject troublemakers.
Good. I was concerned about possible region-crashing. It would be a good idea to have the region password-protected.
QUOTE
I have more than one nation. Can they all join the UN?
I guess that means I can have more than one nation, as long as only one is in the UN. I might do this later, to protect one from UN policies. But would I enter KD in the UN, or the new nation? Hmmmm..... :ohwell:
WE MUST UNITE!
Merin Sun - November 25, 2003 11:49 PM (GMT)
I don't know who that Bloody guy is...he sent me an endorsement <shrugs>
anyway, I'd like to start a region :)...but...which one of us would head it off??? :scared: I smell digital blood...we'd best discuss this more ;)
KaneDragon - November 26, 2003 03:12 AM (GMT)
I'm still trying to get Tsan to make a nation, but I did get Lore to start one: Aegis Hatred.
I want to be dictator. I'm special. :cute:
Yes, this requires more discussion. It must be arranged so that the eventual Regional Delegate is also the Founder. Start thinking up region names, though!
:mischief: Perhaps "KaneDragon Confederation" is a little biased. :mwaha: :cute:
Not Cookyacracy; you already have that for a nation name. "Cookie Cabinet" just isn't special-enough sounding, though we could always fall back on it in an emergency...
das Krümelmonster = the cookie monster in German :yeah:
Merin Sun - November 26, 2003 04:12 AM (GMT)
hmmm...bit bothered about this being a STICKY thread ;)
I mean...it's not like this thread is in any danger of being swallowed by the other threads...
Well...I have no idea who you mean by Lore and Tsan...I haven't spent a large amount of time on this game...I'm thinking about kicking up my trade networks though...start dealing out chocobaccy :flash:
Plus I need to start voting on issues that will bring down my taxes :hmm2: They are very high...
As for the frolicing thing...I dunno...the game put it in there <shrugs>
edit: and the forums have at least 150 people browsing it at all times...and it makes my connection time out...so, I doubt I will be doing any actual RPGing anytime soon...

Well, now it's at the top, 'cause it's special like that. I am sad that more people don't post here, though. :(
QUOTE
I have no idea who you mean by Lore and Tsan...
Nevermind. I don't think they intend to maintain their nations much anyway. :ohwell:
QUOTE

Probably has to do with a lumber issue, because I saw another nation which said that its animal was close to extinction due to cutting down forests or whatever.

I'm not very good at RPing, either, so same here. :ohwell:
KaneDragon - November 28, 2003 07:34 PM (GMT)
Well, until someone comes up with a better idea, I decided to go ahead and create the
United NationStates of Dessert. Read the description. Telegram me if you want the password.
We can always create another or change it around if something better comes up. :ninjafight:
:woot:
Merin Sun - November 28, 2003 07:46 PM (GMT)
although...I'm a bit upset about my priests...
<glowers>

KaneDragon - January 3, 2004 03:54 AM (GMT)
I haven't been able to log into my nation in three days, but no one cares! :rant2:
I feel so alone. :(
Merin Sun - January 3, 2004 05:17 AM (GMT)
I feel my country is developing nicely :)
although I am still upset that the MJ matter somehow or another slipped by my radar :hmm2:
Haplo - January 5, 2004 07:07 AM (GMT)
I keep getting the same questions over and over. It's getting a bit boring. I want some new issues. :hmm:
Merin Sun - January 5, 2004 07:51 AM (GMT)
so create your own!!! :yeah:
KaneDragon - January 8, 2004 01:15 PM (GMT)
Are you forgetting that I haven't been able to log into my nation for over a week?
Oorla - January 8, 2004 07:59 PM (GMT)
Wow, how did I miss this?
I am getting a little bummed with my nation. Somehow I have lost evil dictator status. What's up with that? I dodn't remember telling them that they could have elections!
Merin Sun - January 8, 2004 08:43 PM (GMT)
Some stuff is pushed on you by the UN...other things just go wonky. Like, I said it was okay for people to have guns as long as there were extensive background checks and laws limiting gun holding to certain kinds of people. And now pimply pizza boys are holding up their customers :\.
and Kane...is your last post in reply to a message I sent you on the game???
:hmm2:
Oorla - January 9, 2004 06:39 PM (GMT)
UN??? Bah! I have no part with the UN!!!
They do things like ban landmines there!!
Merin Sun - January 9, 2004 08:52 PM (GMT)
Doesn't matter...the UN decides things for even non-UN nations. Don't you get the notification PMs telling you that you have to comply with UN sanctions???
KaneDragon - January 9, 2004 09:22 PM (GMT)
Um, no. That's just for UN.
And I'm just feeling ignored since no one is commenting on how I can't log into the nation KaneDragon anymore. :(
Merin Sun - January 10, 2004 03:45 AM (GMT)
You can't???
:hmm2:
Um...write to the site admin and complain.
Also, on the forum is a technical help section...try that.
KaneDragon - January 11, 2004 03:37 AM (GMT)
I know. You didn't notice the thread I already have in there? But nevermind, it's fixed now. Stupid Hotmail.
omichyron - January 13, 2004 07:05 AM (GMT)
my nation is so odd :mischief:
