Speaking of waffles...

French Toast. Truly it is one of the mighty foods of the breakfast. But only in a particular state.

There's the morning variety, and there's the overnight variety. Both consist of French bread, but only one form can defeat the waffle. The morning variety is made... in the morning. In a frying pan. Served by the slice. Not as good. :ohwell: The overnight kind is made the evening before, soaks overnight in the fridge, cooked in the morning. Sweeter, softer... Much better. :)

the place in the Underground at the Student Union serves breakfast from 10:00 pm til closing time at 4:00 am. They make really good french toast, but the hours are rather odd for me, so i don't eat it all that often. I do need to sleep sometime, afterall :s

I love french toast :)

I like it in the mornings...whenever my Dad makes french toast he makes a TON of them, so we bag them up and throw them in the freezer.

Then, on school mornings my brother and I would toss them into the toaster, butter them up with a dab of syrup, fold 'em or slap 2 together and eat on the bus!!!

Oh, and omi...i would KILL to have a place on this campus that purveyed food anytime after 9. I'm always hungry at 11 with nowhere to go :cry:
