YAY!!!

Warner Brothers either made a brillant publicity stunt or somebody is going to get fired...

no matter...about 2 hours ago the trailer to the Prisoner of Azkaban GOT LEAKED!!!

http://pdl.warnerbros.com/harrypotter/us/m...zk_tlr1_300.mov

it's FANTASTIC!!!...some of the scenes I can't really recall...like...Snape shielding the kids...outside???

Perhaps I need to do a reread of a reread??? :\

No matter...at least :cute: Alan Rickman/Snape :cute: was in the trailer...

anyway...I'm giggling away with glee...but it's another 6 MONTHS AWAY!!!

:(

edit: but I do have one nagging question: why the heck is Snape protecting the trio??? I saved myself from flipping through the book by looking up summaries and other such things and have found that there is no scene in the book where Snape commits such an action.

I can only assume that the director decided to save time by smushing two scenes together and upped Snape's protectiveness when he locates Black in the shrieking shack...or perhaps the dementors...I don't know...

I'm confused :\

there are quite a few things in there that I don't recognize...hmmm...

but over all the movie looks GREAT...and I am VERY excited about seeing it.

what, does nobody care to spec on why Snape is protecting the trio???

and where in the book did Malfoy blow an oragmi???

that's...not like him to sit there making pretty paper animals and then dreamily blow them into the air...

Matrim Cauthon - November 14, 2003 06:22 AM (GMT)
Merin, check your spelling!!!

For a second there I thought a "oragmi" was some sort of a person...

Meneldil - November 14, 2003 07:21 AM (GMT)
snapes probally protecting them from the werewolf, or maybe a dementor etc etc

as for the orgami, who knows maybe hes turned a leaf, and instead of being asshole/bad guy hes gonna be nice

Merin Sun - November 14, 2003 03:23 PM (GMT)
hahahaha!!! Nice try...Malfoy is evil :P

And I think he was defending the kids from Lupen...but they weren't outside when that happened, they were in the shrieking shack...and Snape wasn't exactly protecting them...more like waving his wand in the air and screaming incoherently...:ohwell:

And Mat...you dirty dirty man!!! Turning a simple word such as oragami and perverting it...you're sick :P

kundor - November 17, 2003 09:13 AM (GMT)

He never does. Not in the book. (I memorize most of my books I read) They love to change they story around
*Example*
In the 1st movie they knew about the dragon. In the Book they never knew that there was a dragon. Potter Ron and Hermione take the dragon to the tower before Malfoy opens his big mouth. As they come down stairs they are caught by Proffecer McGonicle (can't spell her name). Not before.

Yes I am a Potterhead. LOL

Watches Merin shink into a 12 year old.

Merin Sun - January 26, 2004 04:41 AM (GMT)
who doesn't know about the dragon??? I haven't seen the first one in a looong time...

 shink

Anyway...I know that Snape never protects them...that's why I think it's odd :\. I think they decided to mesh the scene inside the whomping tree and the scene right outside of it together. It wouldn't be the first time they've done that either :\

what did you think of the song for the trailer??? I think it's excellent :yeah:

Haplo - January 27, 2004 10:31 PM (GMT)
I liked the first two Harry Potter movies. The third book was my favorite so I'm interested in seeing this. I don't know if I'll see it in theaters, though. I haven't decided. I am curious to see how well Michael Gambon plays Dumbledore.

Oorla - February 8, 2004 12:36 AM (GMT)
No one at Hogwarts, or the MoM finds out about the dragon, because they've ditched the evidence before they are caught. McGonagle thinks it is a story made up to get Malfoy into trouble, and Neville happened to get wind of it.

I liked the song. I am quite curious about the...carolers?....holding toads. What is up with that?
