Title: Matrix Revolutions (Spoilers)
Description: Dumb.

Wow, i went to see this movie in a theatre, and it was dumb.
They simply don't explain how neo can control machines in the real world, as was seen at the end of the last movie. Evidenly we're expected to believe that his mind is so attuned to the matrix that it acts as a radio transmitter, and he can then subconsciously hack into the matrix, hack out of there into the machine world, and control machines, instantaneously, with his mind.
This is STUPID. Very much so, in fact.
Plus they fly up maybe 500 feet and break the cloud cover and there's tons of sun. Why don't the machines just put up solar panels?!? They could get TONS more energy than they could from humans.
And since the program Smith can occupy human minds -- a dumb concept in itself, but no more far-fetched than Tron, so we'll let that go -- and he takes over every person in the matrix, when they all get killed, does that mean all the people hooked to the matrix die? if not, are they brainless? if yes, where do the machines get their power?

The world would be a better place had the sequels to the Matrix never been made. :\

I have to side with you on this one. They had a great trilogy possibilty and they dropped the ball bigtime.

while I agree that this movie was mediocre, it was way better than the first one.

recall that the whole retarded "using humans for batteries" idea came out of the first movie. it doesn't take a genious to figure out that it would be both cheaper and more effective to use geothermal power, satelites with solar panels, or even coal. a human produces as much power as a 9 volt battery and eats a lot more than any battery I've seen

there was no potential for a great trilogy here. it's amazing they got something as good as they did out of it. that having been said, movies 2 and 3 were both quite entertaining. they just aren't worth all the hype.

I assume it is due to the link between Agent Smith and Neo. Neo has part of Smith in him and Smith has part of Neo in him after the final scene in the original. So I assume that for the same reason Smith can leave the matrix, Neo can stop the machines outside the matrix.

The people go back to normal. Remember the Oracle? She was back to normal at the end.

Biblical symbolism to the beat of Sepiroth's theme. I like it. :rocknroll:

It's like Dragonball Z all over again! It's Goku! He's the One! Transform into a Super Saijin and you can defeat Agent Freeza! :rollin:

:rollin: :rollin: :rollin:

It wasn't that bad. Just ignore some of the details and focus on all the flashy colors. :flash:

Well I saw this just today and I thought it was better than the second one and not as good as the first. Still enjoyable. Kundor, have you considered the possibility that Neo is a program? Maybe he was even created by the Oracle as she is the one who created Agent Smith, it would make sense that they would be brothers. Or maybe he only becomes a program in the second one as somebody notes that he "reads differently" when he is in the matrix.

What I found frustrating was the end, it was very much unfinal and I was left wondering if all those people still plugged into the Matrix were going to be freed, and the architect said that they would be, but it would be nice to really see how it happens.

And I'm pretty certain that there will be more movies, it was obviously a clue when that little girl asks the Oracle if we will see him again and she says maybe someday.

I'm confused about Neo, is he alive at the end of it or dead?

the Oracle is a program, not a human.
I don't believe that Neo is a program, especially as the Real World was evidently Real, not a second Matrix as Reloaded suggested. Therefore there's no way he could be a program, unless he were a program running solely on a human brain, which leads you to ask what the heck being a program as opposed to human means. The Agent Smith thing is slightly different as an already existant AI evidently created a bochs-like virtual machine in a human brain to run in, which wouldn't be feasible for a sole and complete entity like Neo.
I think neo is supposed to be dead, what with the ridiculous christ symbolism. The Oracle is referring to his next incarnation -- the Ones keep coming every few generations evidently.
