Title: If it dangles, punch a hole in it
Description: Piercings aplenty for the platonic Plato
Ace - September 22, 2003 01:51 PM (GMT)
Merin's dilemma has inspired me to begin a thread dedicated to the discussion of stabbing one's skin with a sharp metal thing, and leaving it there.
So,
Who's got a piercing(s)?
Where do you have it/them?
Do you like it/them?
Would you recommend it to another to get a piercing(s)?
Does it aid in your sexlife? :flash:
If 'yes', how so?
(i) By helping to pull
(ii) Aiding in foreplay
(iii) Both
(iv) Use your imagination, you feck-faced reticent nostril hair of a preee-vert!
My answers:
I do.
Labret (lip).
Indeed.
Already have.
Donkey Kong, yes!
(ii) and (iv)

:hmm2:
I not too...um...comfortable with this thread Ace...
I'll let it stay up just as long as people don't get out of hand with the content :|
I'd still like to show this board to my parents without having to do TOO much explaining...
answers:
Yes
Both ears, use to have one in the cartlidge on my left ear
I like them
Not really :s
and I have to object to (i) since girls can't "pull" :P

don't have any, but if all of my friends who have shown interest go to that place where I got branded for their tattoos and whatnot I'll be entitled to a free one. dunno where to get it. any suggestions? :ohwell:

Just don't get a nosering. Gahh! I don't think girls realise what a turnoff those things are. :yuck:

well, if girls don't realize it doesn't matter does it? :P
I'm not trying to attract guys here

I'd assume Ace was talking about girls getting noserings.
Which is odd, but hopefully he was extrapolating the negative effect girl's noserings have on him to the effect that male noserings would presumably have. Or something.
To answer the questions:
I have no piercings and I will never get any. I would consider it stupid primitivist self-mutilation to gain acceptance, an issue to which I am supremely indifferent.
However, I do have steel bars in my right arm, if that counts. They're not visible, but the scars are. :P

Actually it's more along the lines of stupid primitive mutilation to drive off a certain part of society of which I want no part, but your point is taken ;)

I've had this labret for a looong time now. Long before this nu-metal culture decided to resurrect skateboarders and their ilk. No, it is not 'gnarly' to break your legs, its fúcking retarded!
Anywho, I'm just pointing out that I was pierced for two reasons: (i) I actually liked the look of it (ii) It was actually rebellious when I got it done, back when I was rebellious, as opposed to dead inside, like now. Jesus, about six or seven years now.

I'm so proud of Ace for obvously finding a way to best the profanity filter once and for all!!! lol - :rollin

Damn! I don't even remember posting that. I was stoned out of my head yesterday

In answer to your questios:
I have my belly button pierced
I do like it
Sure I'd recommend it, you can show it off or cover it at will and there
are lots of snazzy jewelry out there for it
I suppose it doesn't aid in my sex life, pulling it would defintely no help.
As for it being stupid, probably, it was 5 years ago now that I got it and things you do at 17 are often more for acceptance than because you really want it. But I'm proud of it as I think it looks sexy and cool. Really, I did need to do something rebel like, of course than everyone went and got their naval pierced so then it just got trendy!! Oh well.
omichyron - September 30, 2003 06:56 PM (GMT)
unfortunately that is true. these days it's pretty damn hard to get just one peircing and be anything close to unique >:
Amigo De E - October 10, 2003 02:47 AM (GMT)
I suggest a Price Albert.
Ace - October 15, 2003 12:39 PM (GMT)
That a variation on the ever so popular Prince Albert? ;)
omichyron - October 15, 2003 09:59 PM (GMT)
it's the more expensive version :P

1. I used to have a nipple piercing
2. I liked it but it came out and I couldn't get it back in. Hurt too much to get another piercing.
3. Its up to people to do what they want to do.
4. Not really, though I thought it would.
Ace - April 29, 2004 03:41 PM (GMT)
Heh, 'nipple'. I love that word.
Would you like to suckle on mine zipple?
Santaria - May 8, 2004 11:39 AM (GMT)
umm, no thanks.
What the heck is a Prince Albert anyway?
kundor - May 9, 2004 04:00 AM (GMT)
Hmm.
A sort of piercing only a male can get. :P
And only some kind of insane masochistic male at that.
Merin Sun - May 10, 2004 07:03 PM (GMT)
A friend of a sister of a friend got a certain female part pierced...and now she giggles a lot
:mischief:
personally, I think it's disgusting :|
