For weeks now we've been planning our actions. We've been skulking about in the shadow. We've been creating something new, but in order for there to be creation there must also be destruction. Welcome to the New Year. Welcome to Project 2K5.

Now right off the bat there are a few things you will notice. The 1st thing is the removal of all Member Status. To realize the goal of the new systems it was only logical to erase the old systems. In the coming months we will go well beyond reconstructing these ranks and I do believe you will like what you see.

The second thing you will notice is the destruction of the VIP Forums. This was also a necessity in our goals. Don't be too sad though. As I said, we believe you will like what you see in the new system.

So, all of this desstruction. Where does the creation come into the equation you might be asking? Well, that's why I am here making this post now. Sunday we will begin the weekly process of reforming the VIP section. Each week we will announce between 2-4 members that we believe fit the ideals of the new VIP Vision. On Sunday we will reveal a great deal more details of exactly what this system will be, but we will not be revealing the benefits of making it to this rank. The VIPs will figure a good portion of this out on their own. It's more fun this way.

On Sunday, January 8th we will announce 2 members to be elevated from the VIP Status to the Premium Member Status. We will continue the process in this grand announcement fashion until such time as we feel we have completed the ranks of both groups. After that time we will be randomly adding people to each as such is needed.

Now I know I haven't answered all of your questions, but this is designed to be a suprise by nature. You know the fallout of tonight's actions and you know what to expect in the next two Sundays at least. During that time we will be slowly revealing more and more information. Oh...and the VIP/Premium Member changes are only the tip of the iceberg. Welcome to Project 2K5....fasten your safety belt. ;)

How can we put a title under our name, like Enigma has Deus Ex Machina, etc. I thought that feature was only for Premium Membership, which no longer exists.

You can do it once you reach 2000 posts.

The custom title never had anything to do with Premium Membership I don't think. It was when you get to 2000 posts.
