It is the distinct pleasure of Dr. Phineus World to invite you to a formal party on (weekend date for the coming weekend), at his estate, Ry'leth Manor. RSVPs are required (Information about RSVP'ing follows). The purpose of the praty is for Mr. World to choose his heir. It is invitation only. We expect you there.

You have heard of this. Dr. World is a local billionare crackpot, and he is giving away his billions in a contest. Though you did not enter, you still received and invite. Strange.

You call. A man with a Enlgish Accent answerers the phone. "Dr. World's Residence, how may I help you?"

You reply: "I am not totally interested in your invitation, but I will enter just because you are being very persistant. I am confirming my particitation in the contest."

The man replies. "It matters not to me or Dr. World if you enter. There are plenty of participants. I will right you down as confirming. Be there Saturday at 7PM sharp. Dress Formally. Is there anything else I may help you with?"

So... what was the persistance for if does not matter to you or him?

"That you would have to ask Dr. World. As for me, what do I care, I am a bulter."

You hang up the phone. You wait for 15 minutes, and reciev no call back. You go about doing you usual evening stuff. The next day passes and still no phone call.
