Well, i thought gtoons was a really exciting game that allowed players to use stategies to try to beat other players, not to mention very fun. It was a nice game, kind of like a "pick up and play game", where you could play a game, then go do something else if you wanted to. But it was also addicting, making some have to play 10 or more games each time they went to the challenge zone. I hope orbit will bring back gtoons, as they said they MIGHT, and i'm sure others would too. Well, any thoughts? :wacko:

Definitely. That was my favorite part. It would be nice with a much larger assortment of gtoons. I'm not sure if it would better to have a currency or just open-access to all the gtoons. If a currency happened, it would be more work for CN workers. And they already have a bed-rock low morale.

although it would be easier for them to not include currency, i think it would be best for them to let people get points by playing games on their site, thus giving most people an equal chance to get points. They probably would only bring back being able to buy the cards, sice they have had problems with the trade and auction zones in the past. oh well, i guess we can dream

Well, there in lies the problem. Some stronger gtoons would be rarer, in which there would be have to be a trade option. But since you can only use one gtoon per deck, some whould hoard. Another way would be to have daily packs, which there would be a variety. But that would lead to a need for more trading. Or they could do it Naruto-Arena style and have gtoons unlockable. You know with goals needed to be accomplished or codes needed to be typed in.

Unlockable gtoons wouldnt work. If someone were to unlock certian gtoons they would dominate before anyone else got them anyhow.

I think they should allow for you to make whatever decks you want, with all cards. It will make competition more fair, and only the really good strategists would win a majority. gToons was my favorite part of Orbit, I wish they would bring it back.

yeah, but the unlockable gtoons won't be instant kills or anything. I mean, the slams were nice, but my plain deck could smash the majority of slam decks.

I like WYS idea, all gtoons available to everyone. No one could say they were cheated.

Did anybody write to CN asking to bring gToons back to the site? Mabey that would spark some movement on their part.

well, they did say that they might bring it back with additional cards in the future, which i really don't see happening, if it did though, i think it would occur after their new online game is launched. They could do something to where you could get different cards after you win some games, the more game you win, the better the card.

if they were to bring it back , here's what'd happen,

they 'd let u choose out of all the gtoons, and u'd probably have your 4 decks. no points or anythiung of that sort.

and possibly they'd have to where you have the rating and stuff.

theyw ouldn't include any currency because they wouldn't put any work into, it would turn exactly into another CN game, that's porbably what they have planned

But if you could still battle other people online it would be fun. We could start up clans again, and gToon tournys. As long as the basic concepts of the game comes back I will be happy.

definately, at another site someone posted about orbit and that is the only thing i miss. i know like 2 people who could remake it again though. ^_^

They will have the same concept. I will just have CN characters in it. Won't be free most likely.

Also, the majority of people here had every single gtoon, and still didn't use the same decks. Half the fun of gtoons was making a unique deck.

Yes but you had to buy the gtonn to make teh deck if everyone had same cards everyone would use best deck. The only reason people had deck that were unique is because not everyone could afford the cards to make them.

Rankings were done bad. It was based more on quanity than quality.

Also, Pilaf is right. Almost everyone on this forum had all the good gToons. But everyone's decks were different. What you're(Cool Clint) saying makes sense since decks that centered around the slams were very common.

No way, I was ranked number 8 when I quit and my record was something like 1800 and 120

That's the thing about gtoons though, the whole point was the different decks. Sure, everyone could run the easiest deck to win with- I'm gonna say that LB decks were best for random matches, so let's go with that.- and then it'd be a cancel match and reduce to luck. Then whoever adds another card to trump LB decks (Flu Bug maybe? I think that was the one that did - to orange) would win, then someone would change the deck to beat that, and so on.

Besides, I had all the gtoons and my favorite deck was always red/purple.

Yes and most of you used the same deck or were pretty much the same.

My favorite deck was always the green purple vehicle deck, shock the heck out of all the good players

Exactly, my favorite deck was the courage deck. It was hardcore.

I tried a vehicle deck. But I was happier with the purple deck. The colors for the vehicle deck were tricky.
